We just checked out this afternoon. The hotel room floors were filthy. My 13month old feet were black in leas than 5 mins walking around on the floor. The custodians were very basic and didnt touch the counter space area at all during our stay. To top it off a lady in kitchen staff told us we had to leave the breakfast area this morning when we were not even finished eating after only being there for maybe 15-20mins including feeding our little one. Will not stay here again

OMG, worst experience: I have been travelling for over 28 years around the world, worst experience ever received from front desk/hotel staff. I was surprised to receive such treatment. This was not the first time, I stayed at IHG hotel, but this experience ended my desire to even come to such place, or even stay at any Holiday Inn property across Canada. Even they offer you a free stay just run away for your self respect. I am women of color and got the worst treatment from other women of color. The last point self-serve Breakfast was good and one person (Gentleman) kept checking with people if they needed more before they closed for the day. that was great welcome attitude coming from 1 staff member. if he was an employee, he should move to other employers, probably this place will soon, rob you off, your excellent customer service. You should own this place and make every one on the staff like you.

I HAD A VERY TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE My family and I were treated very poorly by the customer service representatives over the long weekend! (3 nights) We had just returned to our room in the afternoon on our second day in the hotel and noticed no housekeeping was done. My mother had contacted the front desk to ask if someone could come up to do it now as there was no toiletries in the washroom and the garbage was not taken out. The lady at the front desk told my mother that there is no housekeeping staff and that she would come up to our room to pick up the garbage and give us the toiletries. There was no do not disturb sign on our door and we did not speak with any housekeeping staff in regards to our room before leaving in the morning. The lady also accused us of not remembering if we did tell housekeeping staff to skip cleaning our room. My mom did ask her to at least provide us with what we want now. After one hour of waiting, I went downstairs to ask if somebody was still coming up. The lady at reception got defensive and said right away that she is the only one in the hotel and could not do anything for us and is "not allowed" to move from her spot. She assumed she spoke to me over the phone and right away said that nobody said they would come up to get the garbage. They also said we should grab toiletries at the reception desk but they will not be dropped at our rooms (also not informed to us over the phone). I had to clarify that I was not the one she spoke with over the phone and that she is saying something entirely different than what we were told earlier. She continued to make an extremely rude and unprofessional remark that she "questioned if we heard the housekeeping staff correctly when they were cleaning the rooms and told them not to come into ours." This is a terribly inappropriate comment to make when, we as customers, are reaching out to access the hotel services and rather than apologizing or helping the staff proceeds to speculate and point fingers at their guests. I had asked my mom to come and speak with a manager immediately as she was the one whose name the room was booked under. There was no manger available at that time and both receptionists made another rude comment. They told my mom that she wasn't understanding them and there was a communication gap on her end!! My mom asked if something goes wrong what does the staff do, to which the staff responded they call the cops. Very rude front staff that are treating guests with awful customer service. My dad had also called the reception about some plumbing issues we had in the bathroom and asked if someone could come upstairs to our room to check. He was told by the front staff that "no one can come check your room, even if the bathroom floods" and that he needs to "lower his voice and not speak rudely to the staff." Staff from the front reception did come to our room shortly and said she didn't see any plumbing or flooding issues (without entering the bathroom). When we said once again we would like to speak to a manager or someone else in charge regarding this issue, she said the calls will go to reception first and a message can be left on their phone. When asked for their names, both staff said they can not reveal their names. My family has left a message for the customer service manager and the general manager, hoping this issue gets resolved urgently. We have not received a call from them yet. My family and I have stayed at hotels all over North America and have never been treated in such a terrible manner. Would not recommend this as your next hotel stay!!!

Had the best stay here. The ambience, services all were good. The check in and check out was really smooth. Additionally, we were provided shuttle to the airport which was a plus point. It has great and spacious rooms. One thing that I would like to suggest is to provide robs and slippers for the room. The breakfast was good but it had some stale fruits. Overall, it was a good experience in kelowna.

Pleasant stay for one night. Though I didn't use the facilities, they do have a pool and a gym! Complimentary breakfast was decent with cereal, bread, yogurt, pancakes, sausages, and scrambled eggs. Location was convenient too as you have a couple restaurants and fast food options in the same lot. I was also able to walk over to Walmart. My room was clean and comfortable, but the soundproofing in the building is a bit weak, as I could hear upstairs footsteps, and sound of other room's door slamming shut. No issues with outdoor sounds as I requested for a quiet room and was assigned a room facing alleyway instead of the highway.

The hotel and rooms were super clean, and comfortable the breakfast was great, with exception of the turkey sausage rounds , they are greyish and not very tastey. Mickey the breakfast host is a an absolute delight in the morning, super welcoming and just a pleasure to chat with.

Ive stayed at this hotel about 3 times. The rooms are clean, quiet and don’t smell bad. The housekeeping team is amazing as well as the breakfast attendants, who have always been very positive. My biggest issue with this hotel is the customer service from the front desk. Each time I’ve stayed there they look at me like I do not deserve to stay there, they treat me like I am a hindrance to them when trying to check in. Once, a front desk clerk charged my card for a reservation I did not make, and when I called the hotel to ask what they charged me for, she claimed it was my fault. Luckily, the service manager worked with me to reverse the charge, and he was very polite. Additionally, on one stay, the pool had a bandaid in it, which I understand is not the staffs fault, but still kind of gross. Overall if this hotel hired new staff for the front desk, my stays would have been much more enjoyable.

Very new hotel, clean and very friendly staff. Beds very comfortable and had a good rest. Noise insulation is not the best so you can hear your neighbours. Prices are inline with other similar hotels but still high.

Rooms were outstandingly done, probably someone who hasn't been to hotels a lot. Love the atmosphere and signage done here. The building seems cleaned and there wasn't much trouble staying here. Though the location in proximity to the best parts of Kelowna isn't ideal. When you have a car, it doesn't really matter.

We stayed here after checking in to a local air B & B and turning around and walking out. This Holiday Inn was great. Clean, spacious, good friendly helpful staff and good breakfast. Well done.

A recently built and well maintained hotel in Kelowna. Staff are pleasant and helpful. Perhaps the best 3 star stop-over I’ve had in a long time. Rooms are spacious and modest in layout. Small conference rooms and guest laundry an added plus if your working on the road. A business travellers hotel, it also works well for small families. Beds are in good condition and the AC worked well. The only issue I noticed was that the floors are a bit thin and transfer sound, so you can hear people above you if they move around a lot in their room. If you’re passing through and need a place to stay the Holiday Inn Express is a good option.

Excellent hotel for an overnight or two. Rooms were spotless. Very nice included breakfast. Hoy tub desperately needed some attention but the pool was 👍. Lots of parking and nearby restaurants and shopping. Holiday Inn Express has been making an effort to up their game and it is working.

Building and room is very clean, feels brand new. Room was also very big, plenty of space for all your luggage. Lots of parking outside. Breakfast was also okay, cold and hot options but a bit basic. The breakfast staff was very friendly and helpful, big shout-out to them! Location is also good, lots of places within walking distance. The bathroom door made an awful sound everytime we tried to close it. The bed was also very screechy.

I travel every week , all year. Even if all holiday inn express have about the same food and amenities, what make this one a full tier above all the others in north America is the 10 stars Service given at the breakfast. Both the Man and woman working there in the morning have great people skills that is very appreciated by all customers. Hot tub is very hot like i like New. Clean. ...all around perfect holiday inn ..

Very impressed overall. The staff (both reception and kitchen/breakfast) were very courteous and attentive. Our group of guests had a few complications on our end and the staff was more than helpful to make our stay very welcomed. The rooms were also very spacious. A lot of storage for our gear. Clean rooms. Workout room was clean, low weights but enough for a solid workout. Thank you for a great stay.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel in Kelowna. I can't believe this is rated only a 2-star hotel. As soon as I walked into the lobby, everything looks so clean and smells good everywhere you go to. The next thing you are greeted by a friendly staff at the front desk. The room was so clean and the carpet looks very clean. A beautiful mountain view when you open the blinds. Beds and pillows were comfy. Loved the Keurig cup coffee machine and the big office desk. Bathroom was clean and the shampoos and body wash are in those big bottles which is nice and smells nice. My favorite features of this hotel are the hot tub (also smells good), office desks in the lobby with power sockets and USB charging stations. And of course one of the most important feature which is their complementary breakfast. I loved the fresh pancake machine. Overall, this is one of the best limited service hotel I have stayed in. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommended.

This hotel is super clean, the staff is very friendly. Amenities are pretty good with lots more amenities very close by. Rooms are a good size and it was a very quiet stay. My one suggestion would be to never put different hockey teams or parents on a floor with another team or parents. The last night we stayed was a disaster because one hockey team thought it was a good idea to turn the third floor into a frat house. I have stayed here before and will definitely be back again.

This Hotel is one of the best I ever stayed in. The room is perfectly clean and spot on, everything is well organized. The breakfast is delicious. However I would like to express my deepest appreciation to that one man, though I don't know his name, all I can say is that he was bald. But he is one of the greatest examples of what customer service and experience is all about. He would educate me how the pancake machine works when I almost gave up and forget it, and gave me some extra pancakes when he offered some, as well brought extra butter and syrup. When at last we were about to leave, I saw him taking out the trash, and he warmly said to us have a safe ride home and we both each other wave goodbyes. He is truly amazing and inspiring, I believe this man is the best hotel employee I have ever encountered. Truly Amazing, and I wish nothing but the best for him. Thank you to this hotel and that extremely amazing kind sir for giving me the best experience stay at Kelowna.

Very clean, modern and reasonably priced hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was super clean. Gym was way better than expectation with equipments you would only see in five-star resorts. Pool was clean and the only thing that could need more attention is probably pool towels. It was not well stocked due to their supplier. User made a mess that could need more attention. Great location close to Walmart, Costco, restaurants and smaller fast foods. Good distance to downtown Kelowna and lakeside parks. They have only 1 EV charger station and might be a good idea to add a few more.

I've stayed at many HI express and this one is spectacular Super comfy beds pillows, nice clean modern hotel with great amenities Had Dove products in the bathroom!! The hot breakfast was very good and staff were so so friendly and accommodating, I asked for gluten free bread and they got me 2 slices toasted from the back! They had 2 types of sausages, 2 egg styles, cinnamon buns, freshly made pancakes and coffee/tea all day long. Ample parking, close to everything in Kelowna.. definitely going back

We really enjoyed our stay here. The entire hotel is clean and modern and the rooms were spacious, but what really made our stay great were the breakfast staff. Mickey and Caroline were extremely friendly and hospitable. They are so busy, and yet they still made an effort to say hello to our family every morning and help ensure we got our food quickly. We will definitely consider returning for our next trip to Kelowna!

We stayed here August long weekend after a few nights of camping, for some much needed amenities. The room was clean and comfortable. Front desk was quite friendly and helpful! We visited the pool and were lucky to have it all to ourselves. The breakfast was actually really good, one of the best hotel breakfasts I have had. It had all the hot food options and everything else. Points of improvement. They have a card that says you can ask for any toiletry and it will be brought up. I forgot my razor this trip, but when I called in the morning they said they didn't have anyone to bring it up. Our body wash bottle in the shower was completely empty too. Fixing those items would have probably garnered a 5/5 rating. A final note, this was over my budget. $400 for an average room which usually goes for around $200. At that price, we expected some form of room service, especially when they say they can help you. Anyways, a nice place and we would stay here again.

The hotel was a great place to stay, clean, bright, good value. The staff were all super friendly. I loved how the breakfast crew went out of their way to engage positively with the customers.

Stayed here for a night - best experience at a Holiday Inn ever! Rooms were very clean, breakfast was great. Mickey in particular goes above and beyond for guests making sure they leave with a smile on their face. Would recommend to anyone coming to Kelowna!

Great staff here. Stayed a number of nights. The beds were the most comfortable! The breakfast attendants were friendly and made sure you had what you needed. In a great location, not walking distance to downtown but quick drive and across parking lot there are a few places to eat.
