Went today to have a surprise birthday party. It was awesome. We stayed in front of the baseball area, There are many trails you can enjoy your day walking or just taking pictures 📸. Wildlife plenty, spiders 🕷, raccoons, cats , lizards 🦎, etc .

i love the trails here. each visit is a different experience since the trails branch in all directions. update: the trails change as the foliage grows update again: they need to have rangers come out and check on the shelters. each one should only use 8 tables and the people renting them are taking all from around the park... leaving visitors with none.

This place is AWESOME. From a skate park to frisbee golf to multiple playgrounds, to numerous picnic benches to exercise equipment to nature trails... There is SO much here! It's also fairly close to town and country mall as well as publix and CVS. It's great for all ages, usually reasonably clean, and all around delightful. Between the baseball teams and birthday parties, it can be pretty busy; but it's so spacious that it barely matters. Definitely come to this park. Probably the best one in Kendall.

This park has winding trails through a beautiful tropical hardwood hammock. There are a few informational placards labeling various plants found in the forest. Definitely an easy trail that is great for kids and beginners.

New playground is open. Very cool and full of adventure, just missing a a slide for the big kids. 4 ball fields, skate park, disk golf and loads of walking trails thru the hardwood hammocks and pine Rockland. Great place for a family get together or afternoon picnic

What an amazing place to go and just BE! Wow! I could walk there for hours! A beautiful escape from the day to day living to be with pure nature. Never gets old! Being there each time is a way for the mind and soul to let go and relax while walking through the forest area. There are cats who live there too. A must to visit! Be careful... spiders also live there... just stay on the path and you'll be fine!

It's a little gem of a community park. The paths are over grown and in need of maintenance. Has tables & area to rent for parties, bathrooms, skate board area, Frisbee course and more.. No dogs allowed, only service dogs.

Tips for disc golfers: there are 2 18-hole courses…K1 and K2. The reviews suggested K1 has better signage, so I played K1. Where to park and where is hole 1? By the skate park, near the half pipe. See my attached photos. Overall, it was a good way to spend a couple hours. Not the best course, but a good for-fun course with a nice mix of open field and tree filled holes. The signage could definitely be better, but I managed to figure it out eventually.

I enjoy the outdoors with the luxury of plumbing. I would appreciate this park more if it weren't restricting leashed dogs on property solely based on size. I was approached by a maintenance worker because my dog looks big, mind you he is a retriever puppy of 4.5 months under 40 lbs. I wasn't aware prior to arrival of the no dog rule, though I saw 6 other dogs on premises while we were there. In any case, the park itself is beautiful. It requires time to fully explore and appreciate.

Quiet and relaxing, great trails with many weaving through the wooded area. Paved trails for walking or cycling as well. There are pavilions available for rental, a skate park, and a workout area. My only gripe is that there were 2 kids playgrounds which were removed before the pandemic and never rebuilt.

So beautiful, a mini forest amongst all the hectic life around the park! Mushrooms, moss, vines and vines of plants, RACCOONS AND CATS? It’s like a little fairy forest… with big scary (but safe) orb weavers everywhere! Its okay, it’s their home :) definitely coming back, to explore more!

This park was calm and clean when I went on a Friday morning. There is a workout area on the far side of the kids' park. There is plenty of shade thanks to the large trees and wildlife to admire. You have many Pavillions to choose from, and they have grills and picnic tables.

Great park with lots to do. My only complaint is that they tore down two nice beach volleyball nets years ago to build Terra High school and never replaced them. Where can people play in Kendall?

How can you not fall in love with a beauty so magical that you want to be lost in it. I have no words how serene and peaceful this place is. I go there for evening walks just to get fresh and healthy air away from the busy city. It's a true hidden treasure in the midst of craziness.

Great place to get COVID-19 tested. However, it's a walk-up not a drive thru. Con: bad on rainy days, so it happened to me! Thanks for reading!

Beautiful park with an amazing trail like jungle vibes. I saw raccoon, little snake, a little chicken once, and cats. All kinds of animals. It's also nice to walk or ride bike, it has trail for that too. There's a skateboard area and playground as well.

It's a big, beautiful, huge park with multiple large, lit sports fields, frisbee golf, a skateboard park, party pavilions, etc. Right now, the best part about it is that there is an extensive State run, Covid station inside the park. They offer both tests and all the various vaccines. I went there for my 3rd vaccine. It took 15 minutes! I was a walk-in patient! I've also been tested there twice. Even if there's a line, it moves, but make sure you're in the correct line! Usually the line is for vaccines, not testing. Ask, don't wait!

It is a nice park in the heart of Miami. Great asphalted walking trail with some part of the way covered by the shadow of trees, excellent for a daily walking routine. So many more things to do for all ages. Please pick up your trash and don't litter, keep our Miami Clean and Pristine.

Nice park with easy parking, but a little uneasy seeing groups of homeless, trash, difficult to open restroom door. It just didn’t seem safe or well maintained.

Clean restrooms. Nice walking / jogging 1 mile trail with markers, a little rough in small sections, but overall very nice. Plenty of parking. Opens very early, which is good to get in that morning jog before work.

Wonderful and amazing park. Very empty on the weekdays. Perfect if you wanna go on a mini trail walk or read a good book at a picnic. All in all great park absolutely love the neighboring animals as well.

The county is hiring anyone and everyone to enforce executive orders and they aren't even equipped with information when questioned. The county has several people in green shirts walking around the park making people wear masks. Even if you're from the same household. When I asked what the order says none of the employees that I encountered could advise which executive order they were enforcing. They were getting snappy and threatening to call the police and ban us from the park "for life" and that this will go on our record!!! They proceeded to call 2 park employees to our area who also could not advise which order they were enforcing. One of them even told me that he didnt need to explain the order and that since he is an employee of the park I just need to listen to him. He also said that I was undermining his position. I didnt know that asking them to show me what the order said was going to turn into such an ordeal. Miami dade county needs to better educate the people they hire on the orders. They are lucky I did not choose to pursue this any further nor did I ask for their names. This was an incident that could have easily been avoided if they were simply informed. This incident happened at Indian hammocks but I'm sure this will happen in other parks if the county doesnt get it together.

Worse Baseball League ever, I have coached and my son played in Glades Baseball and in other parks and nothing like here. They never have fields for your kids to practice, the bathrooms are dirty, the fields don't have bases, the league only lends equipment to there team, the teams are never even so they can always win. Please check before your son plays.

This is a very nice park. I found it one day by taking a casual Sunday stroll. I took the entrance on SW 107th Ave which takes you deep into the park. There, you'll find some baseball fields. The few times I've visited, I was able to enjoy amateur baseball games. There's a lot of trees, as a result, it's difficult to see 'inside' the park from any main street. I did see some gazebos which I am sure one can rent. I did not see a dog park or any additional amenities besides baseball fields. I did see see people practicing yoga and tai chi.
