Beautiful palace that is furnished. Gives an interesting insight on how it was lived in by the owners. Would be interesting to learn also how it was for the staff to live and work here. A palace like this depended on a huge staff to make it functional. Would have loved to see the kitchen and staff rooms.

This place is great. The rooms are decorated nicely. Also, make sure you visit the grounds the carriage house. So many carriages - I have never seen ones so old

Who knew I would be enchanted by furniture and clocks! ? The palace and the grounds are lovely. We came all the way from Budapest and it was worth it! Only negative would not give me the senior rate for entrance since I am American. Only EU members get the discount as seniors!

This palace is stunning. The library was the most spectacular library I've ever seen! I visited it with my teenage children, and they also loved it. You can easily spend a few hours here, as there is so much to see and do. Photos don't do it justice, so whenever you happen to be nearby, I recommend visiting it.

A must-see for young and old, one of the best preserved furnished castles we have seen so far. Amazing tapistry, furnitures and paintings, again proving the very small genetic pool of the British and other monarchies. Very friendly staff giving you truly the best visitor experience worth every penny.

An incredible place, real old world money— both for the sheer number of items and their exceptional state of preservation. It’s fascinating to think about the immense wealth this dynasty must have had to make it all possible. Very interesting to see items from the far east, Italy and England. The library presents a complete world of knowledge, and at moments you can truly feel the spirit of the era. I’ve visited many palaces, but this one stands out for its rich detail and remarkable preservation. It’s not very large, which makes it even more enjoyable — you don’t get tired halfway through, as often happens in such places. Absolutely worth a visit.

I bought my ticket there — no waiting. The grounds are free to explore. It’s just a pity there’s no audio guide, which would make the visit even better. This palace feels like a fairytale — beautifully preserved and full of charm! A truly magical step into the past. I admire the care taken to honour its history. Bravo! I will definitely come again.

Very impressive Castle and neighboring exhibitions. Take at least 4 hours if you’d like to visit all without being in a hurry. The train exhibition would be a paradise for boys and their fathers :-)

Beautiful preserved palace with clear descriptions for most rooms. Exquisite details. Wonderful gardens out back, with some locals jogging through or enjoying a shady sit beneath a tree. Visited in busy summertime (late July), with a bit of a queue for entrance tickets, but still manageable, crowd-wise. Staff here and there to guide folks through. Bags must be stowed in free lockers next to the palace entrance (large purses included).

This was the greates palace i visitied till now. It was empty i only saw 3 other visitors but on the other hand its february and cold weather. If you have a chance go, visit and learn about ppl who lived there. Every room is amazing and the artefacts are so detailed. In few romms i just stared in ave. Just a heads up if its empty and youre immersed in staring and reading dont get scared by the staff🤣 (they doing a great job protecting the place)
