Capt Jessie and Rachel were awesome. Great eco friendly experience on an electric boat with two marine biologists as guides to answer any and all questions we had….and my 13 year old had LOT of questions! The tours are smallish in size (only 8 of us today) so personal attention was paid to fitting snorkel gear and snorkeling with us to find all the cool things! They serve fresh cut veggies and hummus before the snorkel and fresh fruit after. A really amazing experience!

Loved our trip out. The small group size (~16 ppl) really makes it a relaxing trip and gives you a chance to ask any questions that might pop up in your head—as well as hear what others ask. Captain Brady and Jocelyn (marine biologist) were professional, fun, and engaging as they fielded questions from the peanut gallery. We didn’t see dolphins, but there’s a guarantee policy and always a good reminder that they’re wild animals—they show up when they want, not ‘cause they heard you were in Key West ;)

We were with Captain Sarah and Allen. It was one of the highlights of our Florida Road-trip. We were 2 adults and 2 kids, 6 and 9. We saw Dolphins playing with our boat, we saw all kind of fishes, Lyon Fish. Ray, Morena, Lobster,…but not only that, we asked many questions and Allen and Sarah know about everything! One of our kids didn’t like the Snorkel and Sarah took care of her while we could enjoy it ❤️ In addition, great Hummus and Veggies, Fresh Fruit and Water. We only regret not taking the 6h trip hehe Thank you all for this great family experience and your efforts to be sustainable and respectful with the nature.

We had a great time on the Dolphin Watch and Snorkeling outing. Captain Jeff and Lily were friendly, knowledgeable, patient, and accommodating. Love that this company and the electric catamaran, Squid, are ecologically sensitive. The dolphins seemed to know the boat snd came right up to greet us. Plenty of water and healthful snacks were another plus. Five-star experience!

Our family LOVED this tour. Captain Katie, Christina and Brian were so generous and wonderful. We were celebrating our sons 10th birthday and this was so memorable!

Great family run company! They take the time to make sure their reminder emails are timely and concise (and they reply back to you!), their rates are great, their on board refreshments of fruits and veggies hit the spot, and their staff is incredible!! We went on their dolphin watch and snorkel tour with Erik and Bryan. It was my first time snorkeling, and they were both patient and encouraging - and made it an unforgettable experience. My wife and I enjoyed the dolphin watch and snorkel tour so much in 2020 that we brought friends in 2023. The crew is friendly, happy to answer questions, and make sure you’re safe. The Squid is an awesome boat powered by solar panels. Please book with them and you won’t regret it. Pick up a shirt and hat too!

My family (included elementary aged kids) and I went on this tour. We did the all day snorkel, kayak and dolphin watch. Everyone LOVED it. Our captain and tour guide were very knowledgeable and clearly enjoyed their job. They worked hard to make sure everyone was comfortable and having fun. They were well prepared - my kid got stung by a jellyfish but they helped her feel better. We saw a lot of different animals and the guide was able to explain about the different species and habitats. Everyone agreed (which is nearly impossible for a family to all agree on one thing) that this tour was the highlight of our Key West trip.

What an incredible experience. I was completely smitten with Brian and Kyle and their shared knowledge of all things Key West. Our group was full of energy and Brian and Kyle were right there with us the whole way. We had such an amazing experience on the boat (we saw a mamma and a baby dolphin!) and then snorkeling in the sponge gardens. We even saw some rare squids! I can't recommend this tour enough. It was relaxing, fun, and totally worth every penny.

This was such a fun experience! Definitely a must if you’re in Key West! The staff was super friendly and very knowledgeable! Very laid back and fun vibe! Loved the small group aspect! Saw a ton of dolphins and other sea creatures! I would go back in a heartbeat!

Sarah and Allan took us out on a wonderful trip. We saw a lot of dolphins playing around on our way out to the snorkel spot. Sarah made the boat complete silent so we could here the dolphins whistling sound. Allan showed us and told us about all the things to see at the snorkel spot. He made sure we all got to see. They had really good vegetable snack on our way out and fruit on our way back. You had water during your whole trip. We were only 13 onboard which made it more social. We have been coming to key west for years and I have been out with Honest Eco on 4 different trips. Most recently I went on a trip on Ink, their safari style boat. We took a private charter to kayak and snorkel at the sandbars off the beaten path. We saw stingrays and got some amazing pictures. Ink is a great boat for these expeditions and we had such a unique and awesome experience. I recommend all of the Honest Eco tours and look forward to going out with them again!

Amazing dolphin watch and snorkel experience! My husband and I went on a small group trip led by Captain Sara and Bryan for our honeymoon. Both were very knowledgeable, friendly, and enthusiastic. During the snorkeling portion, Bryan was eager to point out and share information about the different marine life we saw. The electric boat was a quiet bonus that we didn't expect to be such a nice perk of the experience. It was very clear that the whole team at Honest Eco cares a lot about the experience they provide and the positive impact they can have on educating others as well as protecting the wild life in the Florida Keys. We hope to make another trip out with Honest Eco in the future!

I'm a snow bird that's been going out with Honest Eco for a few years now and this past winter and spring I was invited to start chartering their boat ink for custom trips. She is a really fun vessel that's extremely shallow draft and can haul any gear that you may need, I mostly paddle and snorkel but she's great for photography and bird watching with her open flat deck. They call her their farm truck so that gives you an idea of the style. Super unique and Captain Evan and Captain Billy are great. I believe if you're a prior repeat client of Honest Eco you can call about booking the boat and I recommend it. FYI If you have mobility issues or need a bathroom the other boats will be a better fit, she's not fancy but the trips are great fun!

I went on an amazing trip with the Honest Eco Ink boat last week. The boat was docked conveniently in downtown key west bight so it was very convenient to walk or bike to. The weather was beautiful and the water was clear. We hit a handful of spots for snorkeling and kayaking and the Ink boat made it easy to do. Captain Evan’s knowledge about all the marine life and ecosystems made the trip even better. The customer service was outstanding from the start with making the reservation, and then on the boat with the captain. They have a great team. I would definitely recommend to friends and family.

The Honest Eco Tour was a perfect ending to my vacation in Key West! The four hour afternoon tour went so fast! Sara and Rachel were first-rate in every way! Their knowledge and enthusiasm for marine life was infectious! They helped settle any nerves about snorkeling for first-timers like myself! Their explanations were thorough and easy to understand. We hadn’t been out on the water very long before we saw dolphins. The clarity of the water at the Key West Wildlife Refuge was amazing, and we spent a 1/2 hour snorkeling. Rachel explained what we were seeing underwater, and it was like having Google there to answer any questions! The fresh veggies and homemade hummus were delish on the ride out, and the fresh fruit and warming blankets hit the spot after snorkeling on our way back to shore. The boat is really cool, too, so quiet. If you like nature, I highly recommend this tour.

This was one of the highlights of our trip. We came in Jan so it was a bit cooler. They had wetsuits for us. Which I promptly put on backwards. Lol. I could have cruised around in that boat all day long and listened to the guys chat about the surrounding ecosystems, and the things we observed. I've been googling birds since that day. They were so kind and friendly and accommodating! I'm sorry that I don't recall both names. Corbin was one. Our trip was on Friday Jan 28 at 2 in the afternoon. Both crew members were so respectful of our environment and knowledgeable about the boat's impact on it. They took care not to stess or harass the wildlife and genuinely care for the earth. True stewards.

What a trip that was! Both Capt Katie and Capt Jessie went out of their way to make everyone feel comfortable, informed and safe. We were lucky enough to come across a party of 5 dolphins right at the beginning of the trip and spent almost half an hour watching these beautiful creatures in their natural, unspoilt habitat. What a treat that was! The crew were extremely accommodating all the time and I almost felt I was being spoilt. The veggies and fruit were such a nice touch! Kudos for the eco-friendly approach!

Out of the multitude of options, we are super happy we went with Honest Eco! We booked the afternoon dolphin and snorkel tour which left dock at 2 pm and we returned at 6 pm. Our guides Kyle and Amy were great with spotting dolphin, prepping lots of fruits and veggies, pointing out fish during the snorkel, etc. We spotted tons of dolphins and they even came close to the boat to play. We went in late December so it was quite cold out in the water, even with the wetsuits. Regardless, we had a great time and definitely recommend Honest Eco for a fun afternoon out.

Our booked tour for 9 a.m. was canceled the evening before at around 7 p.m. because there weren't enough participants. The meeting point etc. was confirmed to us an hour beforehand (around 6 p.m.) and we were told they would be looking forward to seeing us. Since we came to Key West on a cruise and were therefore limited in time, we couldn't get a comparable tour at such short notice. We tried to reach the provider on the day of the tour, but no one picked up the phone or responded to our WhatsApp messages.
