We stayed here 2 nights and really liked it. It was a great value. We've stayed at many nearby places and this was the best value. Jonathan at the front desk was very accommodating. Breakfast was all cold items, but quality. So glad they had almond milk. Rooms were clean, and beds comfy, pretty quiet too. We'll stay here again. Breakfast was served 8:30 - 10, wish it was earlier.

The bed was creaky and the walls super thin, meaning no couple's privacy. The bathroom is super tiny. That's the bad. The good: location, the property manager is amazing, the breakfast and snacks are awesome and the location is quiet. I'd stay again for sure, though not for a romantic night....

excellent location - park on the street right out the front door - yes you have to pay the city $40 bucks a day BUT leave your car and walk to sloppy joes - have a couple beers then walk to the bull, have a couple beers then walk to ricks, have a couple beers then walk to hogsbreath, have a couple beers, walk to mallory square and watch the sunset, then walk to capt tonys, have a couple beers. oh there is also food, even pizza by the slice at 3AM, yes you can walk there. did i mention the location??? the room and bedding was super clean, the front porch was super clean, the hallway was super clean... this place is great, even before a couple of beers...

Our rooms were neat and clean and we were asked daily if we needed housekeeping. We loved being so close to Duval street. Ed, who was running the show, could not have been nicer or more helpful. We also enjoyed the delicious croissants and coffee in the morning. Overall a great experience!

I wasnโ€™t amazed by the stay, we stayed for 2 nights and we got what we paid for. The front desk were very friendly and welcoming and showed us where our room was. We booked a 2 twin and one sofa bed, the regular beds are on top of a wooden piece. I didnโ€™t really feel comfortable sleeping since I do twist and turn a lot at night. The bathroom faucet doesnโ€™t have a strong stream for the water, even if you turn it all the way! I donโ€™t think the faucet was installed right because when shutting it off, the handle almost comes off too! If you are a light sleeper I donโ€™t really recommend this place because you hear everything outside and the people coming and going from the other rooms! Our bedroom didnโ€™t have a trash can, so we had to walk out to the patio to throw trash there. We did have a fridge in the room but once opened it starts to leak. The only really positive is being in the downtown area. The shower had flys and water smelled very bad.

Loved everything about this place. We walked everywhere we went and L'Habitation is the perfect location to do this. Continental breakfast was perfect to grab coffee and a filled croissant or yogurt to start the day. We had the king room in back of house with a patio that was perfect to enjoy the beautiful weather. Room was clean and quiet. We didn't hear any noise from rest of house. We needed late check in due to flight delays and manager was very accommodating. We stayed 4 nights and would highly recommend!

Great location! Room was ready early, and the front desk was super attentive with emailing us. Stella at the front desk was amazing, and we even left our bags after checkout so we could enjoy the rest of our day. Room was clean and smelled great! Was quiet at night and we slept well. Also enjoyed a complimentary breakfast with crossaints and more! Will absolutely stay here again.

Cozy, clean little property with a great location. The manager was very nice and super accommodating. I arrived 4 hours before check-in, they held my bags while I wandered around Key West a little and had my room ready within an hour of my arrival without ever coming across annoyed or put out by my lack of time management. Above all else, as a single female traveling alone, I felt safe. I would definitely stay here again.

My wife and another couple booked our overnight stay on Nov 5/2023. From the moment we arrived the mgr. named Foster was amazing..so helpful with luggage, parking info, restaurant info and showing us all around the facility..! ๐Ÿ‘ I have to say that Foster is the propertyโ€™s greatest asset but in addition the rooms were wonderful, our breakfast was amazing and lacked nothing. We have been to The Keys 5-6 times in the past 7 yrs and this was our best stay and experience. ๐Ÿท๐Ÿท๐Ÿ˜‰

This was our first time staying in this guest house. We go to Key West every year and we like to try different spots. This place has made its way to #1 in our book. The room was VERY clean. The smell of bleach and cleaning products was very prominent-not a complaint! I love to walk into a room and it smells like it is clean. Others do not, but I assume they just are not clean people. The sheets smelled clean, and the floor was spotless. I usually do not walk barefoot because I don't like the feeling of stepping on any residue that is on the floor, but I was able to in our room. Until of course, we were constantly in and out of the room. The salt night light in the bathroom is a great touch. It was really dark in the room so the night light helped when we needed to use the bathroom in the middle of the night. The location of the guesthouse was exactly what we were looking for. We wanted to be centralized so we could be on foot and not rent any wheels or drive. The patio in the front and back of the guesthouse was very relaxing. I had the back patio guestroom, and I did sit out there a few times to enjoy the night. The location was also very quite the only noise you hear is some traffic on the street, but only if the cars were noisy. We did not hear any pedestrian chatter either. Overall this guesthouse is a 10/10 for me, I will definitely be booking here again.

What a great property !!! We requested early check-in and the Staff reaponded quickly that they would try to accommodate us. Great reception - Shout out to Foster who made us feel welcome and got us into our incredible room. Coffee & croissants in the reception area and we have yet to extract ourselves from our very comfortable bed to have a bit of continental breakfast. This is Key West - you have many choices for lodging, but L'Habitation should bubble to the top of your choices. A charming touch of old Key West and just a block off Duval Street.

Although in central Key West, quiet and comfortable, easy to reach the Bay side as well as the Atlantic coast. Room spacious enough, comfy beds, staff pleasant.

Great rooms and location. The breakfast was really minimal and their offices closes really early. They were very very nice!

This is our 2nd time staying at Lahabitation. Location is just off of Duvall street so it's close enough to walk everywhere. Daily continental breakfast from 830 to 10. Pastries come from a local bakery. They're good and it's free breakfast so idk how anyone can complain about it. They serve happy hour in the afternoon. It was cranberry and vodka and gingersnaps each day. Nice front porch with comfortable seating. Also a nice back porch on the 2nd level. We arrived early so the staff held our bags while we explored till the room was ready. I would definitely recommend this place.

Very clean and comfortable room even though just right in terms of space for 3 people. Exelllent quality breakfast. Very good ratio between price and quality considering the Keys area. The receptionists were very friendly and helpful.

This is a nice guest house with excellent staff. The rooms are clean and it is quiet at night. They have a nice front porch with seating in both sides of the front steps. We rented a room with a king bed on the first floor. The room was a nice size and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom is very small, but the shower pressure and temperature were excellent. They offer a very nice continental breakfast with a variety of croissants, peanut butter, jelly, cereals, fruit, yogurts, Babybel mini cheeses and granola and protein bars. These are set up in the hallway from 8:30 to 10. Coffee and hot and cold water are available all day. The location is central to the historic sights and less than a block from Duval street. We walked everywhere.

Great place to stay on a great location! Slovakian receptionist is super friendly and welcoming. The rooms are nice, with some cute decorations. Beds are very comfortable. Guesthouse is clean and smells nice. Breakfast also good! 24/7 coffee and tea available. One small thing: WiFi in rooms 15 doesnโ€™t really work, but you can sit on back or front porch or in the hallway. Windows can open, for some fresh air. Bathroom comfy with all you need (we had the shower in a bath). Price is fair. Would def stay here again!
