What an amazing museum with a huge collection of vintage cars. The cars are displayed over the three floors of the building, so you can easily spend more than an hour inside the museum. Standard entry fee was €10. The cars are not allowed to touch, but you can take videos and photos. At the reception area, there’s only one car which you are allowed to touch and get inside for the picture. The lady at the reception desk was very polite, friendly and informative. Highly recommend visiting.

This is an amazing high quality motor museum. 10 Euros each and well worth the price if you’re a car lover. We visited in 2019 and loved it so much we came back. We were surprised to find a lot of cars we didn’t see the first time and found out they rotate the cars on display as well as have special exhibitions and themes at certain times of the year. I also love the exhibition of car tyres on the ramp up and down to the museum - very clever and informative.

Words cannot describe the beauty of this place! No matter how many times I’ve visited the Museum, There is always something new to learn and discover. Hellenic Motor Museum is situated in the heart of downtown Athens, just 5’ away from the National Archaeological Museum. Employees are super kind, friendly, and ready to help you out with all your questions. From Art Deco Bugatti’s to Post Classic Ferrari’s, Hellenic Motor Museum offers an incredible Collection of Vehicles, as well as Celebrity Owned Vehicles, Including the Pink Chrysler Imperial, Owned by the Lead Singer of Led Zeppelin, Robert Plant. Highly Recommended for Familles and Car Enthusiasts, especially in Christmas!

The place has three floors full of old cars and a bit of modern cars. It's very nice place for a detour. I think they will open a different section for F1 cars. Very clean place and of course you're not allowed to touch the car. It is located near Victoria Square. Very accessible with the train transportation. Wheelchair accessible as well. If you go there you have to visit this place.

Nice place to kill some time over the weekend or on weekdays. Beautiful collection of cars and generally not very busy. The biggest issue by far is that the outside and entrance of the museum are covered in pigeon poop. It's never a nice thing to be greeted by a building who's entire entrance looks like a pigeon coop.

Small but detailed private museum collection with info on rarity and acquisition of their cars. They’ve set up a pretty linear path on the three floors so you can follow the progression of the cars development. Each car placard provides info on how it was produced and who owned it. Also featured one car that you can sit in as a photo opportunity! Entrance is €10 per person.

Some great examples of cars. It's a shame that most cars have this big sticker on the windscreen advising visitors not to cross the ropes..spoils the photo! But a good option regardless.

Nice little motor museum if you enjoy antique cars. Good place to spend a couple of hours. Lets you get closer than most of these type of places in the US, if you enjoy being able to really see into the interiors.

This museum is a MUST, for someone living or visiting Athens. A collection of about fifty rare, vintage or rather contemporary automobiles spanning three floors wait to be admired by all car enthusiasts. The premises is a modern building built exactly to accommodate this private owned collection. The museum also includes a replica of a 1930s car repair shop. The €10 entrance fee is fully worth paying and the museum is located very close to Victoria station of metro line 1 (green).

Oh, what an exhilarating day it was at the Hellenic Motor Museum! As a passionate car enthusiast, I couldn't have asked for a better experience. From the moment I stepped inside, I knew I was in for a treat, and boy, did it deliver! The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the breathtaking encounter with the legendary Ferrari 250 GT. As I laid my eyes on this automotive masterpiece, my heart skipped a beat. It was love at first sight! The sleek, timeless design, the glistening red body, and the unmistakable Ferrari badge evoked a sense of awe and wonder that words can hardly describe. The exhibition of the Ferrari 250 GT was curated flawlessly. The display provided insightful information about the car's history, production, and significance in the automotive world. Learning about its racing pedigree and how it became an iconic symbol of luxury and performance only deepened my admiration for this rare gem. While the Ferrari 250 GT was undoubtedly the star of the show, I must say that the entire museum lived up to its reputation. The vast collection of classic and modern vehicles from various eras and manufacturers was nothing short of impressive. It was like a mesmerizing journey through time, where each car had its unique story to tell. The museum's ambiance was perfect for an automotive enthusiast like me. The lighting was just right, enhancing the beauty of the vehicles without overpowering their elegance. The layout of the exhibits was well-organized, allowing me to explore and appreciate each car at my own pace.

Great place to visit on a Sunday, not the least bit crowded and a heck of a value at €10. Well displayed and well described visual history of some fine automobiles from the 1900’s-1980’s (for now) they appear to have plenty of room for future exhibits.

This museum it's just wow! I was very impressed by it! Never seen and been in this kind of museum with so many nice and unique and rare pieces of classical/vintage cars collection in one place! (And I've been in a quite a lot of museums...) highly recommended! If you'll be traveling to Greece, Athens. It's a must to visit place, you won't regret it! My verdict - 11/10 great! ✊

We just walked past and decided to go in, just to come out more than two hours later. I'm not even that passionate about cars and still absolutely loved it, such impressive models, beautifully restored and maintained, with great details about all of them. Would definitely recommend this museum.

Amazing collection of historic cars. Many rare cars on display like Mercedes-Benz 300 SL roadster or Pagoda 280 SL, Aston Martin V8 Vantage and many more. Definetly worth a visit, whether you are a car enthusiast or not.

A MUST visit for any motor-heads (such as myself) that are in Athens for any amount of time. It's also very convenient (walking distance) to the National Archaeological Museum. As much as I loved the weird 70s and 80s Aston Martins, Lamborghinis and Maserati the old, classic coaches were a real hit with their chandeliers, wood trim and curtains!

Obviously there are quite alot of museums in Athens but as a dedicated car enthusiast, I had to checkout the Hellenic Motor Museum. 10€ entry fee and plenty of classic cars with great stories behind them, although I will say there were no modern cars in case you were expecting them. Well set out over three levels with wheelchair access if required. Was abit disappointed that the F1 simulator wasn't working but no big deal.

It's just an amazing museum to visit in Athens! A lot of great and historic cars which you can see in a stylish location. Ferrari, Rolls-Royce, Lamborghini, Ford and much much more. Book 2-3 hours to check all cars and visit all floors. And yes, check out the rounded elevator and the cafe upstairs!

I recently had the opportunity to visit this incredible place filled with automotive history and it truly left a lasting impression. Spread across three expansive floors, the venue boasts a remarkable collection of both old and modern cars, making it a haven for automobile enthusiasts. The variety of vehicles on display was astonishing, ranging from classic models that exuded elegance and charm to sleek, cutting-edge designs that showcased the latest advancements in automotive technology. One aspect that particularly caught my attention was the rumor of a forthcoming section dedicated solely to F1 cars. This potential addition would undoubtedly elevate the experience to new heights, catering to the adrenaline-fueled hearts of motorsport aficionados. Moreover, the cleanliness of the premises was truly commendable, reflecting a commitment to maintaining a pristine environment for visitors to enjoy. While the temptation to touch these remarkable vehicles is understandable, it is essential to respect the rules and refrain from doing so. The staff members were vigilant in ensuring that the cars remained untouched, preserving their beauty and integrity for future generations to appreciate. Located near Victoria Square, the museum is conveniently accessible via train transportation, making it an easily reachable destination for locals and tourists alike. Furthermore, I was delighted to discover that the venue is wheelchair accessible, promoting inclusivity and ensuring that everyone can partake in this captivating journey through automotive history. If you find yourself in the vicinity, a visit to this place is an absolute must. It promises an immersive experience that will ignite your passion for cars and transport you through time, showcasing the evolution of automotive engineering and design.

We went here recently after seeing a review and was amazed by the the superb collection of classic cars! The entrance fee was very reasonable, the lady on reception spoke very good English, she was so helpful, knowledgeable & friendly. The photos don't really do the exhibits & information given with each vehicle justice. It is displayed over 3 floors and I would highly recommend this museum if you have a few hours to spare away from the usual tourist attractions Athens has to offer (which I would add are also excellent).

For the space that they had, it was thoughtfully laid out! The selection of cars on display were fantastic, covering many eras and types (including movie cars!) Very interesting car museum, one of the best I’ve ever seen. While probably not everyone's cup of tea, I found this museum to be a great way to break up the monotony of ancient things Athens has to offer. I am a huge fan of history and historical sites, but after visiting multiple museums and ruins they can all start to blend together. A stop in this museum was a great way to see something different. I really liked how the staff has laid out a path so that you get to see all the cars and you don't feel lost or like you missed anything. Well worth anyone's time!
