After comparing with the biggest chain of opticians in Thailand I found First Optic, Pattaya via online reviews. The owner, who speaks English, was very thorough and ordered the lenses Monday morning and I received the spectacles Tuesday at 5pm. Although I live in Bangkok I will travel to this shop for future appointments.

First Optic was recommended on many Pattaya ex pat forums. My girlfriend needed glasses badly so we went for eye test and she selected from a good range of frames. Lens were chosen and glasses prepared in 3 days. Great price and service from a kind and considerate owner. Highly recommended.

Best opticians in Pattaya. Visited here recently due to breaking the frame on the only pair of glasses i had with me 5 days into a 2 week trip. I was blind without them and the gentleman working here was a life saver. He found me suitable frames to choose from and within 40 minutes had my lenses altered and fitted into the new frames i had chosen. He most certainly could of charged me a fortune for this service knowing i had no other glasses and was blind without them, but instead being the gentleman he is only charged me for his services, the cost of the frames. A case and lens cloth was also supplied. If you need to visit an opticians for any reason when in Pattaya, you will not find a better one than this.

Very nice sales person, excellent service and high quality lenses and frames imported from Korea and Japan, on top of that super affordable. I got high quality lenses with blue light protection and a super light titanium frame for 300thb. Can't beat that, highly recommended
