Well this big monument was made I think during the Soviet time and it is about the soldier liberator who liberated this country from German Nazi Regime. It is nice big Right at the Subway- Metro Exit The sad part is no Park next to it, so you come here to see it and nothing else beside few canons .... But the area is clean and good

The Monument to the Liberator Soldier (Ukrainian: Пам'ятник Воїну-визволителю, Russian: Памятник Воину-освободителю), commonly called "Pavlusha" (Ukrainian: Павлуша, Russian: Павлуша)[1] is a large monument in Kharkiv to the Soviet troops who liberated the city from German occupation in 1943. The monument is located across from the August 23 metro station. It was dedicated in 1981.
