On Saturday, September 28, my husband and I booked room for 8 nights at the Sheraton Hotel in the center of Moscow. At 23:00PM we checked and went to our room. In about an hour later, a tall man with long hair was trying to open our door with electronic device and a long item covered in his hand. We immediately called reception and told them that someone is at the door and that we are not expecting anyone. They said that they would check it. When that strange man left our door after struggling and failing to open the door, we called the reception again, since they never got back to us. The reception desk told us that as if they received a call from our room telling them that we expect a guest, meanwhile we never attempt any phone calls from our room or expected anyone. We immediately packed our luggage’s and went to the reception. The reception told us that they gave a key to that strange person trying to open our door since he was our guest. We began to argue with the hotel reception that they gave a key to someone without our authorization. My husband and clearly saw from the door peep hole that it wasn’t a regular door key, that man was opening the door and that wasn’t a regular door key, it was a strange electronic device.
We demanded to reveal the security cameras because we felt extremely insecure with the whole situation, however the hotel refused to reveal the security cameras, stating that they don’t have a permission.
We strongly believe that our lives were in danger and that the hotel staff is purposely hiding the truth.
We left the hotel shocked and scared from the horrific incident and possible consequences.

For such a great Location, I really expected better. Unfortunately, the hotel scored low on many important aspects like cleanliness. I am generally against wall to wall carpeting because it's just too much work.. or it stinks. This was a big problem here. But I have to stay the breakfast buffet was splendid, probably even worth to pay if you don't stay here. Front desk service was quite good too.

Very good value for money ratio! I stayed here for a week and had the breakfast included which I highly can recommend since it’s quite extended and tasty as well. Good service too, they bring you the coffee and they can cook all the kind of eggs you want to have. Champagne (actually cava) is included as well! The rooms are new and cosy included comfortable beds. Worth mentioning is the ability to make your own coffee and tea in the room. The rooms are very clean and quite which contributes to the good comfort and night rest. Location wise this hotel is superb. There is a metro station, a bus stop (€ 0.70) to the red square and you are right on Trevskaja bulvar. Overall I had a good and comfortable stay here. The spa and sauna I didn’t check but it’s there…

Older but nicely kept hotel that reflects the high monetary investment in quality interior formerly required by the Sheraton brand - in a very good way. I like staying here, for the second time already. Friendly staff, really nice breakfast with very attentive serice in a nice environment. Thank you! ps: Lounge follows the world wide decline in Marriott service levels, with extremely basic offerings as a few soft drinks and water, some nuts, croissants and a coffee machine. But also here very friendly and motivated staff.

Old cheap interiors especially the bath room. The hotel staff was mean with me when I asked to fix the card key as it didn't work. Strange attitude for this level of hospitality service.

Super good price for value ratio! Service is great, breakfast I definitely can recommend to include this in your roommate. The rooms are clean and quiet. I like it that you also have the ability to make your own coffee and tea. The location of the hotel is superb, straight at Tresvskaya. There is also a spa and sauna but we didn’t check this out. Overall I have a very good impression. Krombacher is the restaurant next to it and you can reach it from Inside. Tasty beer and good and extended dishes!

The room was clean and had comfortable beds, however rooms upto the 4th floor are pretty dated and can be reconditioned. The washrooms are smaller and old fashioned as compared to most 5 star hotels and need to be improved. The location of the hotel is quite convenient as it is near the city centre and the metro station was easily accessible. However, the staff at the reception were extremely disappointing and quite unprofessional. The manager too, was highly uncooperative and rude to other guests as well.

Sweet hotel to stay over for a couple of nights. Great accessibility to all places around, good cafe/bar downstairs, nice service and reasonable prices. Rooms are clean but a bit old fashioned. Pick up/drop off point for cars needs and improvement as the street is quite busy.

It's my favorite Hotel in Moscow. Still affordable with nice upgraded rooms (ask for a renovated room). Good breakfast, very friendly reception staff. Some of them I have known for more than 10 years. This helps getting a nice room:-) The area has changed a lot in the last 15 years, many coffee shops and outstanding restaurants nearby, and as close as across the street.

Clean and quiet location. The breakfast buffet was exceptional with a fresh fruit bar, pastries, cheeses and fish to start, as well as hot meats, french toast, jams and made-to-order omelets. A walk-in Citibank facility that offered ATMs and exchange services was only about a block away. We didn't use the metro but I believe it was a short walk from the hotel. There's a convenience store across the street with cold soda, fruit, candy etc.
