This the easiest review I’ve written in a long while. The Krits Friendly Bar and Diner is exactly that, Friendly!! From the moment we walked along the beach and the owner greeted us we felt completely at home with the surroundings and the people within the bar. The owner and his family couldn’t do enough for us and it was a shame that we had just ate earlier as we would have definitely partaken in the BBQ on the beach. We sat in deckchairs for hours chatting and watching the world go by. As the sunset we were in the perfect spot to enough another beautiful Thai sunset. This bar is very rustic and provides you with that true authentic Thai beach atmosphere. Our resort was literally next door and I will be writing a review for them shortly after we leave. We have said that we are definitely coming back to this same location next year and spending more time on Koh Lanta experiencing that true Thai living. At the end of the night I paid the bill and the owner asked me to come to the bar where he promptly poured two shots of Thai Rum. The owner and myself had one last drink together and I promised him I’d be back next year and I can truly we will. What a beautiful end to our first visit to Koh Lanta and we will see you next year ❤️

From the moment we arrived we were welcomed. It is at the far end of the beach but woth the trip. The tempura shrimp was great, the curry was good and the cocktails were 100 thb each. We will be back. If you are in the area you should visit. If you are not then should make the trip to give them some business!

This was my favorite place to eat in Koh Lanta! I am incredibly grateful for the owners who have made me feel a part of their family and have been nothing but nice to me. They are so kind and helpful. Their family is so precious and deserves more recognition! The food was excellent and I was never disappointed by the quality. I recommend getting the chicken curry because it’s the best I have eaten on the island! Their restaurant is so cute & right on the beach so it’s perfect for a beautiful sunset! Thank you so much! Loved loved loved this place. We went back a second time during our short stay in Koh Lanta. The friendliest staff, the best beach escape… warm water and great food & beverages. Had a ginger, honey, lemon shake one day and a mojito the first time. Neither disappointed. The food was also amazing. Make Krit’s a must visit!

Best place to eat and drink in Ko Lanta! The food was so good as well as the drinks and the music. It‘s just a vibe, check it out by youself! Most lovely people.

Krit is so friendly, as promised! Cheaper than many of the resorts around here and the quality of the food is objectively better. The menu is large and we were afraid it was going to be mid — but everything was fresh af and the view at sunset puts the spec in spectacular. Please come hang out here, the short distance is well worth it. We liked it so much in fact, we’re gonna ask him to go fishing together. It’s also a focal point for the neatest shells/coral to wash ashore??? Laid back, tasty, and loving atmosphere. Perfect lighting at night, vibes are immaculate.

"Krits friendly bar" is always a part of our stay in Koh Lanta! A friendly family at the most south point of Klong Kong beach shows you the spirit of this wonderful island. With relaxing music, a nice drink and delicious food, which is freshly prepared by Krit's wife, you enjoy the sunset behind crossing fisherboats. Welcome in paradies!

One of my favorite spot in Koh Lanta. Already my 3rd stay. The food is delicious. The service is perfect. Your are "les pieds dans l'eau"... (directly on-the-beach).

the name truly says it all :) a great place to eat, relax and enjoy the truly very friendly vibes we had the pineapple fried rice, it was amazing and way less pricey than everywhere else 🍍 can also recommend the papaya salad. we got complimentary nuts for our drinks and free fruits as dessert! thank you so much, if we ever come back to Koh Lanta we will definitely be back :)

Wonderful people at a wonderful place. Whether it is lunch or dinner, Krits' wife delivers fantastic Thai food. Same with fresh fruit shakes 😋 don't miss it out after dusk when the lights are on ! And don't forget about the host himself, always there for a good chat

The name doesn’t lie - extremely friendly and cosy place! Reasonable prices for great, home-like food and tasty cocktails. Walkable through the beach (although at night beware the crabs!). Totally recommend!

The staff are so friendly and the food and juices are delicious. Great location right on the beach. Head down for sunset well worth it.

Such a friendly bar and Krit is the friendliest server/owner I’ve come across. Thai tea, fruit shakes and food were all 🔥🔥🔥. Came back the next day to get more!

It was more then dinner. Costumer care was great. Baby friendly place. Kind people and pretty tasty meals! Papaya salad and Phad Thai was the best witch we ever had. Lots of drinks (mojito) options. Thank you for your good job and nice place 💙

Amazingly cute Thai beach bar. The food is really really good and everyone is soooo friendly. We came back nearly everyday, relaxed in the beach chairs and had nice food and drinks.

We had cocktails here once and dinner twice on our trip. What a friendly place. From the time we stepped into the place we were welcomed with open arms. Krit is always there to answer any questions or give recommendations. I had prawn Penang curry so tasty and 10 prawns nice meal. My husband has the massumum curry also said it was delicious. We also got fruit to cleanse or pallet after dinner. All in all what a great place with great staff at great prices. Go you will love it.

Stayed at a nearby resort and Krit's Friendly Bar was literally next door so I decided to check out the place. Krit is definitely down to earth and friendly, which is synonymous with Thai hospitality. Food is top notch and reasonably price. Over the span of one week, I visited Krit's place at least 3 to 4 times in a row trying out all sorts of Thai curries, juices and appetisers. Check out his ginger, broccoli, lemon and honey juice! It's heavenly! Krit will also surprised you with a tray of tropical fruits platter which is on the house. That's how friendly he is.. You will certainly walked away belly-full and totally satisfied :D

Grate food, two times a day we have spend a time at that great place, leaving just in the next hotel from the beach. Sea food really fresh, higly recomend👍😃👍

The best beach restaurant on Koh Lanta. The food and cocktails are amazing! The owner is so nice and kind guy. I was very impressed with the ginger and mint cocktail. Krit is really good at making cocktails. You can swim in the sea there on the left side. A lot of different crabs and beautiful sunset. Highly highly recommended!

We came to Krit Friendly Bar 5 times in one week! The food was so tasty, the staff were absolutely lovely, and the view on the beach was just superb. There are comfortable deck chairs laid out in front with shade (MUCH needed after midday when the sun covers everything on the beach and shelter is scarce), and even hammocks if you’re inclined to use one. Plenty of room for people, and yet really not very busy down that end of the beach. We went the other way on our first day and had dinner at a larger restaurant that appeared to be part of a hotel, and it was horrible. Krit Bar just felt right. Safe, easy, relaxed (no pressure to buy anything) and free pineapple each visit! I honestly think I’m turning into a pineapple now. They even have the occasional haul of massive fish that they buy one of for a big fish barbecue some evenings - unfortunately we missed our chance, but it looked incredible. Don’t miss out, go here and enjoy yourself!

We arrived around 19:20 and there were 5 tables occupied, however the service was quite slow - but very nice and polite. That day was quite windy, blanket would help as it was cold, but wasn't available. Quality of food was great, fresh and very tasty (Massaman curry, banana split, drinks long island and pink lady). Prices were reasonable (dinner for 2 incl. Drinks <500 baht). I would surely recommend it, as it was a good experience. Atmosphere was very cosy and romantic.

The best bar I have been to in Thailand so far . Great food and drinks with cheap prices and the service is extra ordinary. Krit and his family are so welcoming. Definitely a recommendation!

Eaten here every night Krit is a fantastic host the food is amazing he makes wicked cocktails we tried somewhere else one night and after eating we came back to Krits as it wasnt a patch on his food . Went out on the long tail boat that he organises for the day round the island great spots we went to and snorkelling in your own aquarium 😃😃

You just can't ask for more... Perfect place, nice food, great coctails, very kind staff. And great pricing
