Very imaginative site development some years ago offers clean functional rooms and bathrooms. A variety of dining options and a pub-style bar with a happy hour two for one offer. Good breakfast buffet at reasonable prices. Attentive staff in all departments. Large outdoor poor is clean, with spacious poolside areas, but no poolside safety supervision other than your own. Reserve your accommodation direct to benefit from the sharpest prices.

Arrived today with my wife and there was no record of our reservation . My wife called yesterday and spoke with a male receptionist who had confirmed at the time, of our stay. Today no record nor any apology . At the time of the call yesterday, we had requested a queen sized bed. Today there was nothing available just twin beds . Booked as had really no other option. Went for dinner at your Chinese restaurant, right after we sat down a large wedding party came in. This slowed down our service substantially. I had ordered from the Dim Sum buffet . The second order took about 20 minutes. Asked for the bill as didn’t want to wait any longer. To our surprise there was a 10% service fee added. For what? Slow service? The service fee should be the decision on the customer not the restaurant’s. Voiced a concern but no acknowledgement or again no apology. Not overly happy with this experience

Lovely Hotel, but the night I stayed, there were two very noisy weddings which made things vibrate even on 11th floor. However exactly as advised on check in, the noise stopped at 1130hrs. Food in the restaurant is good, rooms well presented and clean though the bed and pillows were a bit hard for my liking.

The rooms is nice, new and clean and the price per night is very reasonable. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. Only complain is the parking spaces are very hard to find when the hotel hosting convention or wedding party. The front parking and indoor parking always full when i got back to the hotel and have to park at the back which is very long walk to the lobby. This happened everyday when i was staying at this hotel.

After my bad experience in Buriram on the way through Isaan, the Avani Hotel in Khon Kaen was a real surprise. Perfect service, nice pool, where I missed a covered area to sit out in lounge chairs by the pool even with a rain shower. But smoking was not allowed... As I am not so into Thai food and can eat Khao Pad Gai only, the Spaghetti there were soso lala. It's Isaan and not Bangkok. That I understand.... The bar restaurant looked nice, but maybe cooled down to 12 degrees and so the only Farangs there left early and we decided to hang out together, as we shared the room to each other with connecting doors. The rooms itself were very nice and beautiful, clean and with big bathrooms. View to the pool. Outdoor and indoor underground parking available. But as always in Thai bathrooms, the towel holder hang down, coz they don't know, how to correctly drill. AND, you need the correct plastic and screw......

Summary - I cannot recommend this hotel Not a bit soundproof, malfunction of Internet, worn and not very clean, many sloppy details, not a holiday hotel. Spacious rooms, nice bathroom, good bed. In “booking.com” this hotel pretends to be a 5-star hotel. Means the expectations are for this category, considering the hotel is in Thailand. I am reviewing under this premise. The rooms are spacious but a bit worn and many things are not clean, like the sofa, the windows, walls. The railing outside is rusty. Cheap made interior. No balcony. The wardrobe is not made for 2 travelers staying long time. Minibar with condoms, very special, I never saw this before. The bathroom is nice and functional, after the tap was fixed and the light bulb was changed. The electricity- and LAN-sockets were not mounted, hanging out of the wall. WiFi works not always, the room WiFi does not exist in “Junior Suite”, even after exchanging the router. The router in the room did not work, I used it as LAN splitter. The guest has to complain about all this. He has to show them how to find out, where the malfunction is. In general, they are not attentive to details. The room maid needs instructions about the standard guest communication: Card on bed, change bedclothes, towel on the floor, new towels please. It does not work. She changed the bedclothes almost every day, what I do not want (environmental reasons). Sometimes even very simple things are not understood at the English-speaking reception. I can speak English well and slow. I am writing this because of the self-proclaimed 5-star category. The worst Basic standards of even a 3-star hotel are violated. The room has “walls” made from 1 cm wood. I could hear the people in the neighbor room talking in normal loudness, giggle, using the shaver. Like all this happened in my own room, until 2:30 a.m. Every sound from outside comes inside. Kids playing in the pool, cars, motorcycles and the dogs barking all night long. I could not sleep in my room. I got a cost-free upgrade to a “Junior Suite”, see above. The sound from outside is the same, and noise from the corridor you can hear as well. The best - this is my third star. Otherwise it had been 2. Moving my stuff to the other room, organized by staff. They shot photos of my (many) things and put them in the same order to the other room. This was really lovely. The laundry is expensive but does a very good job. Breakfast I tried only once, for 350 BHT. It is not made for foreigners. Horrible coffee (5-star). I love Thai food, but not for breakfast. The water in the 25 meters pool is cloudy. After I had booked the room for 1 week, I asked to extend my stay to 2 weeks. They sent me the offer for one more week, with a 23% higher price. Stay longer "special offer", pay more. I did not accept. Normally a hotel room is for two in Thailand, they charge the second guest. I should have canceled at this point. The business conduct was not hidden before. Price for value The price is Thai 5-star, but the hotel is not. After moving to the Junior Suite, I wanted to extend my stay in this room. They charged me over 700 BHT plus per night! And said this is a special offer. From the hotels perspective, this might be. For a room where I can sleep in. I was too lazy to move to another hotel, starting there from zero. 2656 BHT per night, without breakfast, is a comparable high price for a Khon Kaen hotel, 3 km from the city center. This might be a business hotel for 1 or 2 nights, but it’s not a holiday hotel. I cannot recommend this hotel.

It is a fun pool experience for the children. The room was just so -so. I disagree with other reviewers who say this is the best hotel in Khon Kaen. As others have stated, the service is really terrific. We had dinner in the restaurant where breakfast is served and the dinner was fine. The breakfast buffet was good but not great by any means. At the omelet station, the young lady cook didn't seem to speak very good english, thai, or even Isan, and she completely screwed up my omelet. No problem. I gave it to my wife and just grabbed an already cooked fried egg. We reserved a room for four people and were quite surprised by how small it was. Overall, not a bad experience, but not sure I would return unless it was for the pool.

Great rooms with up-to-date amenities and exceptionally clean. Best hotel in Khon Kaen. Not much to do within walking distance, but would expect anyone staying here to take a taxi or have a car in the first place.

The big brand of Central within the Hotel chain concept. The location is closely the downtown where beside of Tung-Sang swamp. The decoration of hotel based on the charming and richy idea, also very beautiful. Today, I be here for the conference. The food is delicious.

**Avani Khon Kaen Hotel & Convention Centre Review** I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Avani Khon Kaen Hotel & Convention Centre and was very impressed with my overall experience. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the friendly and helpful staff. They were quick to check me in and get me settled into my room. My room was clean, spacious, and well-appointed. I especially appreciated the Malin-Goetz bathing series, which was a nice touch. I also enjoyed the view of the city from my room window. The hotel has a great selection of amenities, including a swimming pool, fitness center, spa, and several restaurants. I had the opportunity to try the local E-Sarn breakfast at the hotel's restaurant, and it was delicious! There was a wide variety of dishes to choose from, and everything was cooked to perfection. Overall, I had a wonderful stay at the Avani Khon Kaen Hotel & Convention Centre. The staff was excellent, the room was comfortable, and the amenities were top-notch. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Khon Kaen. **Specifically, I would like to commend the following aspects of my stay:** * The warm and welcoming staff * The great local E-Sarn breakfast with a variety of dishes * The clean and spacious room with a nice view * The Malin-Goetz bathing series I would definitely recommend the Avani Khon Kaen Hotel & Convention Centre to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Khon Kaen.

1.) It’s located close to the big road. Easy to find. 2.) it’s not far from government offices and department store. 3.) No grocery shop nearby , it’s not convenient to get something quick. 4.) The service is nice and friendly. 5.) A lot of parking. 6.) The price is reasonable. 7.) Breakfast is ok.

I didn't stay at the room. I only went to the swimming pool. They have a bar there and the service was good. They had 2 for 1 drinks on cocktails and local beers. The pool was very nice and they provided the towels

Beautiful modern hotel with outstandingly nice room design, especially the suites which are good value. Friendly and helpful staff with excellent underground parking. Two restaurants, pool, professional spa massage. Good value for money. Would be a lot more expensive in Bangkok.

The premise is pleasant looking with Thai and modern decoration. Staff is polite and mostly up to service professional standard. The breakfast is OK. Not really full 5-star breakfast selection but you can have some decent food. The big turndown is the fact that I have been struggled with wifi signal and stability throughout the stay both in guestroom and restaurant.

Just an average hotel, not a special room and no European breakfast. Avoid staying when they have the meeting function, can't find the car park and it was hectic. But the Esaan Thai restaurant itself during the day is delicious and friendly staff.

Recommend this hotel when you’re traveling to Khon Kaen! Quiet and neat room, but wifi signal was poor. Services were above average. They also have many facilities and trails nearby. Must try the pork fried rice from the room service; it was tasty!

😠 This is the worst hotel in my life. Terrible nauseating smell in the room. The water keeps turning off, I lathered my hair with shampoo and they turned off the water, I couldn't shower. Very poor wifi in the room. The TV only has 2 channels! The pool is more like a swamp. Definitely a hotel ro...

👍 Very surprised by the overall quality of this place. The rooms are clean, bathroom is ok, wifi is ok, airco, all works and is just good. During the day there's free coffee, unlimited.
