A
typical
department
store,
was
Robinsons
now
Central.
There
are
5
floors
of
everything
from
perfume
to
pampers.
Staff
are
friendly
but
as
with
most
stores
in
Thailand
they
won't
allow
you
browse
in
peace.
One
of
the
biggest
problems
with
this
Central
is
that
a
lot
of
the
items
don't
have
a
price
sticker
or
price
sign.
I
just
had
an
experience
with
that
albeit
in
reverse
(sort
of).
I
brought
a
packet
of
surface
cleaners
to
the
till,
there
actually
was
a
price
ticket
of
89
Baht
on
the
package,
however,
at
the
till
I
was
charged
105
Baht
-10%
discount
=
94.5
Baht.
I
pointed
out
that
the
ticket
said
89,
they
didn't
know
what
to
do
so
I
got
a
refund.
So
two
problems
with
that,
first,
they
had
marked
the
price
up,
then
made
it
look
like
you
were
getting
a
discount
and
second,
the
staff
didn't
know
how
to
rectify
their
mistake.
This
was
not
about
having
to
pay
5
or
6
Baht
extra,
it
was
the
principle
of
the
thing.
