OMG the worst Restaurant I have been to in Kiel so far. It's Expensive and the food Is awful. When you look at the photos I've taken, the meat is still raw in the burger, see the photos. The two menu's cost 27 euro, served in a little plastic basket and I was still hungry when I left. The seats are hard wood and uncomfortable. The service isn't good either, they are very unfriendly there. I won't go there again, even if you paid me.

From all Kiel Burger-Laden we have been so far, I think this are the best. I always take the vegan one and my friend the one with meat. He also agrees that the patty has a special taste. The ingredients are fresh and the workers are really nice people.

We stopped at John's on our way back to our cruise ship. The burgers were delicious and deemed to be among the best burgers we've ever eaten (we've had some incredible burgers).

Being an American in Germany I can tell you these aren't normal American hamburgers.. these a very quality burger with good ingredients and the fries are fantastic. My only issue is there wasn't enough seating but that's because it was very busy and for good reason

Just went in for an Empire Burger takeaway and got a Chewbacca cooking spoon for the waiting time(amazing idea!), after about 6 minutes I got my Burger, got on my bike and drove 20 minutes home. The Burger is not only a regular Burger it’s an experience even after this huge amount of resting it still tastes like your biting in the most fluffy and tasty Bun and then there’s the meat witch just leaves your mouth watering even after your finished. I’ll come around more often, thanks a lot and see you soon!

John's Burgers in Kiel is the most authenthic american restaurant that I have seen in Germany. The food is always fresh, the meat is not frozen and very tasty, with lots of variety, like buffalo fried chicken sandwich, buffalo chicken wings, ribs, etc. Even for american standards the food is really great (even superior) and everyone is very friendly.

I visited John's Burgers before pandemic. Food was great. It's local: bread is very fresh, fresh minced meet and fries are also good. You should definitely try it out. There is a rumour, that John's Burgers are the best burgers in town. Try it out!

Hands down the best burgers I have had in Germany. They taste like they come right out of a NYC burger joint, just with very high quality produce. Staff are amazing, even with difficult orders.

Tasty! The beef-pork patty doesn't disappoint when it comes to flavour, although I thought it was a tad on the dry side... Counteracted this with mayonnaise! Homemade bacon and spicy grilled peppers toppings are great, smoked cheese a little too mild. The normal fries are average, but get the sweet potato fries instead! All in all, a good effort - good service, quality and price!

What a gem of a burger place in northern Germany. As a former NY'er, seeing the Bacon, Egg and Cheese sandwich on the menu was a sight for sore eyes... And yes it was delicious! Would highly recommend making the stop at John's Burgers if your in the area.

My favourite spot in Kiel whenever I am craving a juicy, yummy chicken burger! The staff is always super friendly and I am in love with their buffalo fried chicken burger 🍔 I have to add that their fries are also super crispy and the menu fills me up very well!

Really great food, wonderful staff. We visited the Lille brewery and their food truck was outside and provided excellent service and superb foos. Highly recommended. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The lively young staff are always in good cheer and the music's fantastic. recommend

We went to John's Burger for the first time today and immediately loved the great atmosphere. The staff are super nice and helpful. The burger or the menu could be put together by yourself. The products all come from the Kiel area - a big plus! Everything was very tasty! Highly recommend.

Nice burger! Serving was big for one so price is very reasonable. Most of the burgers come with beef patty. We ordered the pull pork one and it was delicious. Only downside is that it was a little too salty. The sweet potato fries were well done - crispy and flavourful! As the area is quite small, it’s not suitable for huge groups

Best Burgers in Kiel. Nice an friendly people, good atmosphere and nice music. The Burgers are the best I ever eaten before. The quality of the food is incredible and the staff is great. Great atmosphere and love that they have their own beer on tap. I highly recommend to take a look and try a good burger and a beer
