Got the possibly best table outside in an already fantastic location. Singles Breakfast is a totalvalue for money.

Perfect spot to enjoy the view. It was my 2nd time to be there snd will be there again.

We visited this bar today and we definitely have the best impressions about it! Nice and cosy atmosphere, delicious food and very sweet and friendly waitress Ira made our day!

Really disappointed with my visit here. The view and location are amazing, as well as the service being pretty good. My problem is the food... Firstly, how can a place that is literally on the water, not serve fresh fish!? The menu consists of pizza and burgers... And they're not even very good. The food is simply not good enough. What a shame to waste such a great location.

Unfriendly (overworked??) staff, place was completely packed which resulted in the two of us (we had booked days in advance) sitting at a full table with five other guests so no privacy for all of us (awkward!). Tables were messy, it was hot and sticky because of the tents they placed over the (once beautiful) outdoor area. I've been there before but the business model has changed so much (a money-making factory with no love for food or customers) that I will not be coming back. Needless to say, we left and had a wonderful evening someplace else.

All in all it was a great experience, the food was just perfect and the service too. Even though I had to wait for an hour for my food because it was really a full house, I had a good time. A must visit in Kiel💕💕💕

Always nice to stay or drop in for a bath in the „Kieler Förde“ is a Kiel Institution since many years now. Not that easy with a car. But bike or walking is the best to reach the Sea Bar

If you plan to eat here, please book in advance! A VERY popular spot on a nice day and everyone in Kiel seems to know to book ahead. All reservations will be put ahead of you, even if you are waiting at the door and see tables free. We waited for quite some time before being seated and were only seated after checking in with pretty rude, nonchalant staff at least 3 times. We nearly walked away. But once seated, staff were generally attentive and friendly. Drinks were served quickly. Meals were slow - but they were also very busy. So don't eat here if you are under time pressure. Perfect place to sit 'ON' the ocean, enjoy the sunshine, view and a nice meal and a few drinks with friends. A better system is needed for people without reservations, who are willing to wait at your door for a table.

It’s a great place to hang out with friends specially in summer and particularly convenient for people who like to swim in the sea with a lovely sun deck. A large variety of drinks are available and so is food selection.

Nice location, good views. But …. somehow short of staff. Ordered white wine and coke which came quickly. Then a strawberry cake with cream and a bread and sausage platter. Strawberry cake came after 20 minutes without cream (cake lacked sugar so not the expected experience) platter came after complaining and 3 wines and 40 minutes (simple cut sausage and bread!) - inaceptable - took to much time. Waitress excused the cream and informed that around that time the kitchen is busy (even though the pubic area was half empty). Somewhat all answers with a slight attitude defending the Bar not the customer. Overall not a great experience - tables on the left and right were also complaining about slow service. Gave me one of my 3 wines for free for the issues - still had expected more, was here some years back with a packed house and without any trouble.

Great location. Able to get a talk without booking, which was perfect. Great food, beer and service.

Nice location, unfortunately our experience was nog what we expected! We reservated a tabel, when we arrived our tabel was allready taken. When we asked at the waiter to clear our table he suggested to arrange this ourselves with the customers. Fortunately the lady behind the bar (Negin) arranged it for us, she took the responsibility over from the waiter. Wow, what a leadership she has! @manager: please give that lady some more resposibility, you won’t regret it for shure! After waiting 20min still no waiter to order our food, again another lady behind the bar (Kaja) took over and came to our resque to take our order! @manager: same question as for this lady, give her some more resposibility! You have good staff, only at the wrong place. Please give the two male waiters a washing up duty because they are not able to function elsewhere! To end with a positive note, the food whas good and arrived quickly.

Had a really lovely day here. Beautiful. Service is maybe a little slow but this place is perfect for a chill afternoon.

I found here the worst food I've ever eaten! And the wine was disgusting, and they bought the fries from supermarket and just heat it up many times until the flavor disappeared. I don't recommend it

Very unsyphathetic, mediocre food and items on the bill appearing, while not ordered. When addressing, customer satisfaction was not important and friendliness turned to hostility. Do not go here, how tempting the location may seem.

Bring bathing suit and sun screen or just enjoy food and drinks.

Great views! Ok food

Awful service! just wanted to get some small late dinner snack. It was calm, one could see tables free inside, none else was waiting by the entrance. I waited forever to be admitted inside (corona restrictions) no one from stuff came, I let bartender known I’m waiting, but or he ignored me or whoever he passed that information to ignored him!

Cute bar...really great service.....love it

Food was ok, portions were average to small. Service was snippy. A little expensive, but you pay for the view.
