After all these years... Still a loyal member of the Crunch Killeen fitfam. We have amazing staff members from the top to the bottom that make our experiences great. Front desk is always waiting with smiles, instructors are always ready with a new form of torture and we now have personal trainers available who are just as if not more hard core than the instructors. The undefeated tribe never lets us sit in our comfort zone, they are constantly challenging is by switching up the classes every quarter. I still wish there were less cardio and more weight lifting classes though. We have transformation challenges yearly, I'm currently on my third challenge with my awesome personal trainer Nancy McGowan, she's hilarious and super strict but she'll never tell you what to do, but you'll do it anyway because she will give you that look. 🤯🤦🏾‍♀️💪🏾. Our fitness director Toni Lionel is one of the best we've ever had. She's always looking out for her member's best interests, and she's always there to listen to us gripe or complain or give kudos. She does her best to make our preview weeks and holidays fun with limited funds. Most importantly, we have all become more of a family at Crunch. We work together for the same goals. If you get in with the right members, you'll have friends for life. 💜 Review from three years ago: Brand new everything. Amazing staff. wide variety of classes. No extra charges.

The gym is pretty well equipped but there is not enough of it for the amount of people they get especially in the hrs of 4-8pm. It is overcrowded and unsafe. There are stacks of 6-7 plates of out of place which is a potential tripping hazard. Staff should then walk around talking to people and reinforcing putting the equipment back where it belongs. People move equipment around including benches to areas that are too small and not to have that type of equipment around. They do group classes at the time of the day that is the most crowded and close a big part of the gym for it limiting other members to use the equipment not being used for the class. The trainer doing the class has a microphone instructing the class and you can’t even listen to your own music because of this. Overall, the place is completely unorganized and has poor logistics making it unsafe for its members and own staff.

Cancelled my membership in person two weeks ago and just got a bill for the monthly and yearly membership. Not cool. Edit: Everyone should be aware of this very stupid user agreement. Wish I never joined. RESTRICTIONS ON CANCELLATION (Month to Month Membership): 1) Member cannot cancel within their first 60 days, after the 60 days you are required to provide a 30-day written notice. 2) Memberships must be cancelled in-person at the club. In instances where a person cannot cancel in the club, a certified letter mailed to the club address can serve as a substitute for cancelling in person”. 3) you are responsible for any scheduled fees within the next 30 days following your cancellation request including membership dues, annual fees and/or recurring personal training commitments. Cancellations made within 60 days of joining. Cancellations submitted within the first 60 days will require the balance of the first 2 payments and the annual fee to be paid prior to the cancellation being processed. Cancellations with past due balances. In order for a cancellation to be processed, all open and past due balances must be paid in full. Any balance due after 90 days will be sent to collections

My wife and I go everyday, as much as we love it, we avoid one of the trainers as much as possible. Dawn is super unfriendly. My wife was in the middle of one of her sets and dawn made it a purpose to interrupt her and rudely tell her to move because of a class that would start 15 mins later. We have zero problem moving to an new area , but how she came to us was unprofessional. Another example was today, she had a class going on, the class was in the middle doing floor exercises, people not in the class went around avoiding any kind of disturbance with the class and grabbed weights off the wall, I followed and hurried to grab a medicine ball, she stopped her class to yell and chase me off, proceed to glare and shake her head. We love going to this gym, my daughters love the daycare, we enjoy seeing everyone everyday, but someone needs to tell her the way she acts towards people isn’t professional.

Great place to workout, TERRIBLE PLACE TO WORK! Nancy is the worst manager I have ever worked for. Gossips about employees and members constantly. She only does things that will make her look good. She will lie about you to the clients you train like they don’t talk to you. She has ZERO accountability. She treats this work environment like she’s still in the military. They will treat you terribly when you prove them wrong for ill treatment towards you. They work you to the bone for little to no pay or stop giving you clients without explanation. Your paycheck aren’t broken down leaving you confused about your pay. Once you’re not in the in crowd they do everything they can to push you out of the company. DO NOT WORK HERE AS A PERSONAL TRAINER. It is not worth it!

I just joined and due to the lack of friendliness, I have a 4/5. The people up front act like they don’t want to talk to you. They don’t give off welcome to crunch fitness vibes. However, the childcare ladies!! I love them so much. My kids cry at first but by the end, they don’t even wanna go home. I’m so grateful and thankful for the childcare.

This company has just stolen $240 from me. It all started with a free fitness assessment. The trainer that was helping me during my fitness assessment they offer for free told me that he would delete the contract we discussed if he didn’t hear from me the next day. Couple days later I got an email from crunch, laying out a contract that should’ve never existed. I had to come in to dispute it and was told that they would reverse the transaction that were charged to my credit card. Instead, they charge me again, forcing me to close my credit card. When I asked them how they got my payment information that I didn’t give them to put on that contract, they told me that they pulled it from my membership account. Over the next couple weeks I’m going back-and-forth with my credit card agency and crunch, I would find out from Crunch employees that they have a membership side, a trainer side and a corporate side. And they all operate independently so I just paid $240 to training sessions I never got. Do not trust what they say. Ask for it in writing.

Super happy with this gym. My last gym was not so great especially during covid. All of the staff is amazing! I've tried several personal trainers in the past and haven't been as motivated as I am at Crunch. Nancy is my personal trainer and I couldn't be happier!! She not only does she push me in my workouts, she has taught me tons about eating better and how to eat right for the goals I have! They also have lots of great motivating classes. Crunch has definitely been my favorite gym so far out of the 6-7 plus other gyms I've tried!

I enjoyed the gym and the staff which where great & I would give a five, but due to the lack of equipment I’m giving a honest four. I hope to see them maybe organized better and include more workout machines for the best experience. I did like that they have nice hydro massage beds and the gym rest room was nice and clean. So overall not too bad and they’re on the economical side so you don’t have to pay an arm and a leg to be a member.

Paying top tier for the membership. Spent almost 3 hrs in the gym…. Waiting on equipment and ended up leaving. Could not finish my workout prepping for a show. Between the groups of people holding on to multiple weights and no room. If they got rid of half the cardio and expanded it would be better off. Today made me want to cancel my membership. There’s no gym etiquette and more people sitting on phones and recording than working out. Very unhappy w paying for something I can’t even use.

Gym like no other. I know because I compared them. This place has the best staff and owner. Open, bright, airy. Clean and well stocked. Wish it were bigger because I feel like im not able to work out without fighting the crowd, especially when they hog two plus machines 😕. Wish they had a sauna as well. Because this place is so good, I'm afraid it will get too overwhelmed by people. And some dont like to clean after themselves.. Please try to expand and possibly buy the space next to you. Dollar tree can move and I love dollar tree.

I feel like I'm part of a family everytime I walk through there doors. Staff is always friendly and inviting. They always makes sure I'm taken care of. I personally feel that they have a great community and support system set up. The gym is always clean and even if its busy I don't have to wait to long for the machine I would like to use to open up.

I was thoroughly impressed by the variety of weights and weight lifting machines that they had in comparison to planet fitness specifically they don't have as many showers in the restrooms and they don't have as many restroom stalls but it's nice.

Cindy & Maria decided not to process my refund due to the user agreement that that Sam posted previously not to mention that I've been paying for a membership over a year, thinking I canceled it. I've gone into this gym maybe twice ubderneath my own account because I no longer live close to this location. I understand that it was my fault not canceling after the year of monthly charges but to add insult to injury and not provide a refund for the annual fee is the type of customer service they are known for. If I was provided the details instead of the person whom took my photo flirting with the entering patrons maybe I would have been better prepared. Again, this is the type of service that is provided here I guess..Also, please don't respond to my review. I spoke with Maria & Cindy who was a form a management, if anything was going to be done to rectify thia, she had the power to do it when we spoke 10 minutes ago & didn't.

The gym is good, not as packed when we go around 5am on weekdays weekends are a bit pack but still able to do what you need. Not a lot of broken down machines and if there is any they fix them right away. Overall great gym

I wanted to tour the gym but couldn't wait around for unknown time. Only one person working and they stayed on the phone the whole time. Hopefully they get their staffing issue fixed soon so folks can check out the facilities.

Worst gym I’ve ever been to for multiple reasons. Firstly, there’s one water fountain that barely works, the kids zone has almost nothing in it, the atmosphere is uncomfortable. Secondly, I was assaulted on camera by some dude because I asked him politely to move out of the middle of the turf walkway. The staff did literally nothing about it and the “manager” Cindy called me once, said my story didn’t match the guy who assaulted me, even though there was multiple witnesses, they told me they’d follow up, I haven’t been back in over a week and I haven’t heard from them since the incident, however the other member continues to go. All because they were “friends” with the manager.

Love their gym equipment and their classes are so fun! The perks of having their full access membership gave me the option of daycare for my son and hydrotherapy with their additional services. The daycare could be more organized with more staff and extending the hours another hour more. It’s hard to keep a routine when certain hours don’t fit along their schedule.

This gym is absolutely top notch! I've never been to a gym where EVERY employee is friendly and helpful. Aiko greeted me, helped me get started and gave me a tour of the place. She also recommended a starter workout until I meet with a trainer. Her customer service is top shelf. The gym is clean, organized, and not engulfed in rules so you can have a solid workout. Highly recommend!

Staff is friendly and welcoming. Environment can get packed during target hours. Building with high volume of personnel makes it challenging for them to keep all equipment clean, however, their staff is persistent in getting the job done. Overall great place to get a workout.

I love crunch, a huge step up from planet fitness. The workers and gym goers are lovely. They have plenty of equipment as well. Only downside is it's packed around 4pm-8pm. Prices are great, it's 24 hour which is awesome (love a 3am workout)

Gym isn’t bad, but you get what you get for $11 a month so you can still get a good workout in. The bad things are the male bathrooms are almost always out of soap and when there are classes, a large amount of space gets taken up so that pushes everyone to the rest of the weights area.

Huge gym, has everything you need. Bench press usually fulls up fast during busy days. Fri-Sun gym is always slow (best time to go). The staff is amazing always friendly. Always clean

Shout out to Mikayla for making the purchase of my membership easy. It’s a clean place, they have tanning beds, red light therapy, lots of cardio, free weights and classes going on. Day 2, and didn’t have any issues finding a spot. We’ll see how the week progresses.

Attention crunch members, y’all put back your plates. It gets way too crowded at some points. It has quality professional grade gym equipment. I went and there was a literal pile of plates in the corner on the floor. The staff should at least put the plates back daily and make sure there’s an inventory of plates. I will work out and I can’t find a 5lb or something because they’re all on the other side of the gym. Staff should have more awareness of what their equipment look like and fix it if the members don’t. Overall, it’s a quality gym tho just gets too busy at times

Crunch in Killeen is a great gym. There are a variety and a good quantity of machines. I go at night when it’s not busy. The only thing that I didn’t like was the men’s showers. I went to use one and it smelled like garbage and mildew. I decided I was too stinky to go to work straight after, so I showered anyway. The curtains need to be replaced with doors or something. The new facility in Temple have doors. I had someone peeping in on me and it was extremely uncomfortable. This other thing is for all Crunch facilities: They don’t have a list of personal trainers online or anything to read about them before you go and speak to them. It’s frustrating.

Crunch keeps charging and unable to explain the charges. After I cancelled my membership in January, they said I had to give a 30 day notice and they charge me for another month and an annual fee. Their policy states cancel anytime. I got a call today saying I owe more money. Initially I was excited about this gym. This gym is way too crowded after work. I joined primarily for the classes and pay for them. Well, this morning I was kicked out of the spin class for not having a ticket. I was one minute late. I had a reservation, but no ticket. There were others waiting for the bikes with no reservation. No one explained how to get a ticket for class, the small window to print your ticket or sign up for classes. It is frustrating to be denied a class and you paid for it. I am sure others did not pay. Their personal trainers do a bait and switch. For my initial I had someone knowledgeable. Then they paired me with a nice lady but her knowledge was limited.

The gym is great with nice equipment, however, I tried the personal training side and they cheated me out of my money after I froze my account. To top it off, the trainer that signed me up was fit and buff but the day off my first session, I was given a lesser fit and experienced person. I was ripped off. Do you all check your emails? I responded and have not received any feedback?

I love Crunch when it’s not busy! I have been a member here almost 2 years and it wasn’t until recently that I have had any concerns with this location. Occasionally, depending on who is working the early morning shift, the desk is empty for extended periods of time, the bathroom is not always clean, paper towel dispensers throughout the gym are empty and the floor is dirty and/or has equipment everywhere. I do bring a gym bag every day, and luckily for me, I don’t keep much in it. I know the lockers are meant to be locked because of potential theft, but in almost 2 years and practically the same faces every time I come in, I haven’t had an issue until some of the new hires appeared and this morning 11/3/22, after my workout, I immediately noticed someone had gone through my bag and stolen an old pair of headphones. I do appreciate her not stealing my jump rope and other workout gear. I have my suspicions and I still love Crunch but I will bring a lock from now on!

Cool gym, always clean. The only one in my area so it's quite a distance. People are friendly. Had an issue at the end with closing my account but had it fix at the end of day. GO TO THE GYM!!!! There is no perfect gym! 🥳
