I was a regular of the café when it was at the Frontenac Mall and the new place is just that but on a larger scale. There is also decent parking nearby with a wheelchair entrance. The staff were friendly, the coffee was tasty, good luck to them.

I've been with ChitChat since the Frontenac Mall and I must say, this is by far the best cafe I have ever been to! The hot chocolate is absolutely delicious and the staff are so friendly and welcoming. The grilled cheese sandwiches are also excellent - the perfect mix of crunchy and cheesy - and I could not have asked for better. I have been back so many times since my initial visit and I highly recommend ChitChat Cafe to anyone looking for a great cafe experience. Five stars (plus more) all the way! you walk in feeling like it's your cafe too

I was so happy to see the Chit Chat Cafe open in it's new location. We had such a great chilli and toast lunch. My friend asked what the chilli was like and she was given a sample to try! Best coffee. And what a sweet location. Just like stepping into an Old Quebec cafe. We will definitely be back.

I’m in town for the weekend and was looking for a place for a good coffee and lunch. I am in LOVE with this place. Amazingly friendly staff, an ambiance that makes you feel like you’re in a little NY cafe, and some seriously delicious food. This is a MUST if you’re in the area.

Incredible place. From the amazing lady behind the register, to the interior decor, all the way to the customers that go here, everything about this place is perfect. And a sandwich for 6.49, are you kidding me?!

Great space to hang out and enjoy a cup of coffee while avoiding the rain. We enjoyed coffee in the loft area and played a board game while having desserts. It was a welcoming environment. The glass fireplace was a nice touch!

Good food and nice view of the waterfront. Hotel will validate your parking if you eat there. We did just that and took a stroll along the waterfront afterwards

Just had lunch there for the first time. I tried their pizza grilled cheese sandwich and loved it. The staff was also extremely friendly. I can't wait to try more of their menu.

I love the Chit Chat Cafe! Coffee is great and reasonably priced, soup is always fantastic and home made, and service is friendly and personalized. Breakfast is great - my go-to is the toasted western, but the pancakes are also amazing. The different seating areas mean you can choose a quieter spot and do some work or a table up front close to the action if you want to be more social. Edited to add a photo of my pizza grilled cheese today. Highly recommend.

I stopped at the Chit Chat Cafe for breakfast. It was amazing! The staff are friendly and help radiate the warm and cozy atmosphere. I definitely would recommend the bacon and eggs, and the pancakes if you have room lol It is now my go to breakfast spot!

I wish I could rate this higher than 5 stars. We were headed to SENS cafe, but it was packed and I knew this place was close by so we walked over and I could not have been happier with the experience I had here. My new favourite cafe! Immediately after walking in we were greeted by the nicest lady ever who made us feel at home right away. I cannot stress enough how kind she was to us! The food was amazing as well as my London fog, and I loved the atmosphere. Great for studying and for chatting/catching up with friends. I'll be back soon :)

Stumbled upon the Chit Chat Café by chance on a rainy day, and it brightened my visit of Kingston. Owner was so nice, and the balcony is the perfect place to sip a coffee and take time to savour life. Will 100% be back.

Had small coffee and all day breakfast. Both excellent. Can’t get better. The owners were kind and the atmosphere very good. Plenty of seating and does not feel crowded. Very affordable prices is a strong point. High recommend to locals and visitors alike!

Chit Chat Cafe is a gem. Fantastic, friendly service from community-minded people who care about their customers. I always enjoyed visiting their former west-end location for their excellent soups or breakfast and was very pleased to see them open downtown which is handy for me. The atmosphere is lovely and homey and the staff very attentive to make sure everyone is happy. I love their coffee and have breakfast there all the time!

On Google, it shows that it is open Mondays from 9:30 to 4. I was meeting a friend there yesterday, only to find there are closed on Monday 😞 I look forward to going when they are open.
