It was OK, however, be on the watch out for pick pockets. I almost got robbed. I had my pocket bag on my back and felt the zipper being opened. On checking, my bag was open and just in time a man stepping away from behind me. Thankfully the contents were still in tact...... be vigilant.

Carnation Market aka Curry is my weekly stop for my ground provisions, vegetables and spices. I have my favourite vendors who I am relieved to see as I know I will get a fair price (some vendors love to inflate the prices especially if little rain fall or there is unrest in the market district). I'm glad that they're still alive and plying their goods all things considered.

Great. Anything item you need, downtown has it. Variety is the spice of life, downtown has it all and good prices too. Price negotiation is fun. You will more likely win and take home your item.

The market where you may find some fruits and vegetables at better price than a supermkt. Plenty of paid parking available. Somewhere to explore buying options close to other downtown shops down the road.

The stores were ok... I was more concerned with the filth on the streets. The government needs to be adamant, and take more responsibility for having the streets clean more often. Downtown should always be the epic center of beauty to attract more tourists to the area. "More tourists more revenue"!

The only changes in the market were the price of items, which keeps skyrocketing, and the quality of ground produce that keeps decreasing. The timely reaping of crops needs to be looked into.

Downtown Kingston is not for all, the crowd can be too much but the prices are very reasonable compared to other markets. The goods are fresh so overall it is the best place to shop.

The market district is cluttered with a mix of venders, some selling clothes and some selling food. Some streets are lined with clothes everywhere even in the road and the side walks are not accessible due to unbrellas and goods.

Things can be very expensive sometimes; you can get bargain at times, sometimes things can be reasonable, and cheap as well. Very colorful, shopping around is good. This Place can be very crowded, and busy too.

Be careful when walking on the streets and be sure not to wear jewelry. Ensure your bag is visible and your phone is hidden.

There is not one person living in Jamaica that has not been to Downtown atleast once. It's the place to get everything. Only the most focus and alert have mastered the heart of shopping here 🥸

Raw sewage is flowing in the streets at this time. Cars and bikes are driving through and splashing people so be careful if you do visit the area.

Downtown was the same as usual..some places you go the customer service will be good and bad...always be on the look out for criminals apart from that the visit was ok.

Loads of wholesales, harberdashery, electronic stores, stalls, mobile vendors. You can get your nails and hair done on the roadside at reasonable prices. Businesses close half day on a Wednesday. Fresh produce comes to the market on Thursdays and Saturdays. If you don't like crowds go early. Most businesses start operations at 9 a.m.

Going to the market is always an adventure, one you either regret, that's if you get into an altercation with someone, or one of the famous handcart run over your toes. Two it can be one of the most memorable moments that you'll enjoy to the full extent, from interactions with the vendors, sometimes the children of the vendors and just the people who are shopping....

It was so crowded, with vendors everywhere it was difficult to find walking space and even more challenging to decide what to look at. It would be better if sellers had a more organized space from which to sell.

It's always a good experience, I've been going downtown for a long long time. It's somewhere you can get almost everything to buy.

A local farm treasure trove for organic, the prices are reasonable and if you got the skills for negotiation you can walk out really satisfied, wouldn't recommend it as a tourist resort though always recommended to get your objectives done quick, it can get really busy with crowds of different characters try not to walk with too much baggage alone because it can get really uncomfortable passing through the heavy streets

The place to be when you are in Kingston Jamaica for the best prices on everything you can think of. Down to earth people so you better be down to earth too ...keep your eyes and ears open at all time and listen for the drop prices being shouted across the busy way.

The bustle is real here. Can always find most, if not all that anyone in Jamaica would desire for cooking and making that food taste good too. Ground provisions, herbs, peas, beans, vegetables and fruits etc.

A wide variety of choices, all kinds of things to buy. Need to visit again soon

The prices in the market this week was fair! I purchased Broccoli for $600 inside, but in the streets, it was selling for $1000/lb. This vegetable is a bit scarce right now. The other cheaper price was Pricesmart Portmore at $890. I bought it there the week before as I most times prefer to shop in comfort.

Thursday and Friday mornings are the best day to go to the market as most of the fresh produce comes in between Wednesday and Thursday nights and the prices or more reasonable on those days

Prices are a bit high at this time, but great fresh produce. Even so these are still some of the best prices you will find anywhere. Got me some of the best dasheen and yams.

Busy, has a variety of items to choose from, several places to shop, find reasonable prices at Coronation Market, check out Dawn's Egg Truck on Darling Street for farm fresh eggs, straight from the farm to your pots. 😍
