Small bar with good food and even better prices which was near my hotel. Both locals and tourist seem to visit this place often. It is close to the center so easy to get to. I would definetely recommend it and go back myself if needed. I had chicken noodle soup for 1 euros.

Was blown away by the food. Loved veg steamed momos, fried chicken momos and Namaste special vegetable chow mein. Milk tea had some spices in it and ginger milk tea had strong ginger flavour. Not my cup of tea to be honest 😂 Yet I still liked them.

This cozy restaurant has the best possible value for money in all Thamel. Momos are among the finest in Kathmandu, but everything else feels like cooked by your mother. Staff is also really nice, so it was a great surprise to find this place. 100% recommendable.

Lovely place with great Mo-Mos and Chai. The owner is really nice and super good looking so for all the ladies who are keen on having a great view while having your food. This is definitely the place. He is ALWAYS smiling nonstop. He speaks English but he's very shy. Fun aside. If you have never tried Mo Mos before this is the place to go for your first Mo Mo. Try the Steamed ones or half fried-half steamed (Kothey). Avoid Full Fried, if it is your first time. Nepali Chai is Awesome!!! Fried Rice with Chicken is Average. I don't think it's exceptional. In overall, I love the ambience, music and the hospitality of the owner and his friends. They've shared a lot of knowledge of places to visit and the history of the Nepalese Tribes. Lastly, it is very well-priced aka cheap!

Amazing food, everything made fresh and home made. Very nice vibe family business. We need to come back for they momos. But khaja set and feied rice was also sooo delicious.

A very clean local restaurant with cheap and delicious food. There is always a customer there and usually you can see some tourists, too. I went there twice and recommended it to others who were satisfied with the quality, too.

Wonderful homemade style Nepali Restaurant. The restaurant truly stands out for its authentic Nepali cuisine and the warm and welcoming atmosphere with reasonable price. I was particularly impressed with the homemade food that they served. Every dish was bursting with flavor. It was evident that a lot of care and attention had gone into the preparation of each dish, and I could taste the love that was put into every bite. In addition to the delicious food, the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making me feel right at home. The cozy and inviting ambiance of the restaurant added to the overall experience and made me feel like I was enjoying a meal in a Nepali home. Also, the location is closed to Hostel YOG, i usually visited the roof bar to enjoy the drink and wonderful Kathmandu night view after having dinner here.

During my stay in Kathmandu, I visited Namaste Restaurant 3 times during my stay! The food, service and prices are all incredible.

Super delicious food, very good prices and amazing staff. I tried all type of food here, but remembered to take photos only of those two. Too busy to enjoy hahaha. I really recommend.

We have visited many times while staying in Kathmandu, and it is a wonderful little place with incredible home cooked food. It is family run, and is very friendly and welcoming. All the dishes we had were great, but the momo really are the best. Anyone staying in Thamel is very lucky to have this place nearby.

This is a must go place to have the best Nepali foods in kathamandu. All the foods are delicious, the staffs are extremely well behaved. Absolutely blown away by the test. We went there two times, had 6 items al together. Jhol momo ,thukpa, fried momo, noodles, each items are amazing. Highly recommended!

Came here several times during my time in Kathmandu. Everything I ordered was great and was very inexpensive relative to other Thamel options. The place does fill up (only 4 tables) so try to come early or late - but it’s worth the wait!

Service is always fantastic, prices are the best around, and the food is delicious. 100 rupees for a plate of fantastic steamed veg momos! The tables are always very clean too which is also a huge plus. The music is nice and there's also free wifi available in the restaurant. Namaste is my go-to place when I'm around Thamel. My only "complaint" is the very loud honking of the cars driving past, but there really isn't much they can do about that and it's pretty standard for restaurants in this area. Highly highly recommend!

Ordered the vegetable steamed momos and the veg curry and it was so delicious and cheap! The staff are so friendly and caring. Would definitely recommend to come here, 10/10
