Rokpa is the most wonderful place, I will 100% be staying here again next time I am in Kathmandu. The young staff are just fabulous and everyone at Rokpa is so warm and friendly. I lived at Rokpa for a month with my partner. The rooms were excellent and the wifi was really fast- my partner had to work remotely and the internet worked perfectly. Rokpa is situated in the Boudha area which is just a wonderful and peaceful/ calm part of Kathmandu. We had dinner nearly every night at Rokpa, the food was delicious with a great selection of Asian and European food- it has something for everyone's taste as well as fantastic vegetarian options. The breakfasts at Rokpa are also fantastic. Rokpa felt like home for me this past July, I cannot praise it or recommend it enough. I will be coming back :).

Truly excellent. After a week of noisy and hot nights in the Kathmandu valley, we had a fabulous sleep at Rokpa. The room was well soundproofed, the AC worked nicely, the shower had hot water at all times and everything was really comfortable. It felt like being in Switzerland, in the middle of Nepal! Their restaurant is very peaceful too, with fresh and tasty food (the virgin mojito was exceptional!), and we loved their commitment to train their young staff to high standards of hospitality. I can’t recommend this place enough to anyone who wants to enjoy a restful stay, right in the heart of Bouddhanath. My wife and I will be back for sure.

I have been there few times,and the experience has always been amazing. The atmosphere of the place is very calm and soothing. Plus, you can enjoy a great variety of cuisine. The bakeries are especially delicious. The most amazing part about the place was that, the guest house is a part of a larger project that supports socially disadvantaged children and women. So while you are there, it's not just food that you are receiving but also the many feelings.. Highly recommended place for anyone visiting Bauddha.

One of my favorite restaurant in Kathmandu, this place is calm and peaceful, the food is good and service is good. Slightly feel like overpriced however the social cause behind the restaurant justifies it.

Really enjoyed our stay at Rokpa Guest House. My partner and I had our toddler with us and we were made to feel so welcome. Room was nice and clean, reliable wifi. And food was superb, will definitely stay again.

This guest house is very nice and hidden in a quiet area that makes it an oasis from the hubbub surrounding it. The restaurant is good but a bit pricey. It's location is great and in easy walking distance to the stupa. It has good wifi. The breakfast was okay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The profits from the hotel go to fund a children's home.

Lovely hotel so close to the Buddha stupa. Proceeds are donated to the children's orphanage which is connected to the hotel. Wonderful food, clean hotel and an interesting place to stay in Katmandu. Loved it here.

Absolutely delightful. Spacious room w balcony, comfortable bed, plenty of hot water. A 2-min walk to Boudha stupa. Peaceful garden for meals. Highly recommend!
