This place is a dream for insect lovers, especially beetles. The place is beautiful, organized and clean. We will be back another day for sure!!!! Congratulations to everyone involved in this project.

The grounds have lots of wildlife, and (as you would expect) especially insects. Saw Japanese rhinoceros beetles outside of an exhibit for the first time. Plus there were some great dragonflies whizzing around. The highlight was the glass house, which had lots and lots of butterflies. Very easy to get snaps of them interacting with each other mid-flight, and the species are not ones I tend to see elsewhere. Also there were lots of tree frogs and some grasshoppers. In addition there are tons of exhibits, so despite it starting to rain, we were able to enjoy our time here. I hope that they will one day place some fans or something in the exhibit building, as it was pretty hot.

Incredible butterfly conservatory, excellent walking areas, and an awesome library.

The butterfly dome is really lovely. Didn't get a chance to explore a lot of the outdoor areas. It is a pretty empty / down tempo place with very little English signage.

A great place for the kids.

An amazing place with a ton of walking paths leading to different insect environments and a variety of indoor exhibitions. The tropic butterfly enclosure is a highlight.

Nice butterflies

Perfect place for kids who are interested in insects. Very good insectarium with beautiful Butterfly dome and living bugs in terrariums. Huge outside are with walkways where you can catch butterflies and dragonflies. Includes a traditional Japanese silk farmers house with play area in front. Restaurant/cafe offering simple dishes like Japanese curry and udon as well as sweets.
