This place was recommended to me by a staff who works in the Peppermint museum close by. I got the salt yakisoba which the staff suggested. For lunch time it included all you can eat salad bar and onion soup. Since I came by bicycle I couldn't try the home brewed beer.

The ambience, environment is very nice. The food not so much, ordered a few dishes, the carbonara (dull, very small portion, even for Japan), the deer stew (this was spit out disgusting), seafood noodles (passable but the noodles were the texture of instant noodles) and the pizza (clearly supermarket frozen and reheated). We tried the pilsner, for a beer garden and in Japan where so many great beers abound, this was not worth the 2400 for a jug. Don't be fooled by the ambience and the waiters wearing suits, this is definitely not worth the high price that you're going to be whacked with when you leave. Missed in hind sight.

The sausage is normal. The fried noodles is so great that you must order. The beef stew is so soft. The beers are so unique that you hardly find in other restaurants.

So my wife and I decided to come here for our anniversary and we were more than pleased with the experience. The dining area has a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Our table was located on a slightly elevated platform overlooking the rest of the dining hall. The step to get up is a bit steep, so please watch your step when exiting that part of the seating area. They have 6 beers on tap, including a pilsner, 2 ales, and more. My wife and I ordered beef simmered in a demiglace sauce made with a dark beer and the meat was absolutely tender and delicious. There is a separate lunch and dinner menu, so if you go for lunch, be aware that the full menu may not be available. Additionally, they have unlimited soup and salad, as well as tea and coffee included at no extra cost. The service here is absolutely fantastic and an excellent showcase of Japanese omotenashi-styled hospitality. My wife and I used our smartphones to order, and due to a discrepancy between the online menu and the paper menus in the store, the store graciously allowed us to both keep and enjoy what we received (a very nice chicken dish) AND what we had intended to order (a fillet steak). The manager also apologized for any inconvenience that there may have been, but honestly, we were just happy to be served so well. They definitely left a great first impression on us and we will definitely be back again!
