I usually buy their falafel wraps from Frigo Vert but they were out so I checked out the restaurant and I'm glad I did! I got myself a trio with fries and their peach juice, which was really refreshing, for 5$ which is really reasonable. The falafels are so fresh and flavourful! Many places that sell falafels make them too dry, but Nilufar nails them! It's a cute spot to have a quick bite and the owner is so welcoming that you can't help but enjoy the atmosphere!

Best falafel and shawarma in the city . For 7$ you can get a full quality home style meal I make a point to visit this place as often as I can I wouldve taken a photo of the food but i keep devouring it upon recieving it so heres a thumbs up by my peach drink

Best place in Downtown to get Falafel. I recommend Super Falafel which will cost you around 3$. I have been eating it for few times but i am a fan. Plus the staff is friendly and easy going. And its a cheap place to get your tummy full. Yummy.

You can easily walk by this place as it's a couple feet below ground level and the sign above the stores sign appears to.be Asian.However, the food is an amazing deal with falafel wraps starting at only $1.69 each and nothing more than $4 from what I could see. Manager was super friendly too.

Just not what it used to be anymore. Used to go there a lot before and it was definetely worth 5 stars. I've gone twice in the past few months and it's not as good anymore. Very different. On top of it, the prices have near doubled and are not what you find on their website. And both times, I paid for extras(yes, yes you have to be for every little condiment like tomatoes) and they forgot them. Twice... Super sad used to love this place.

Great customer service! Only rating 3 stars because it was my first time at this place, I ordered a beef shawarma plate to go and the beef was extremely dry and very difficult to eat. Not sure if this is their usual or just a 1 time thing. I will probably give this place another shot and update my review later.

I just ordered from them for the first after learning they were closing down. I wanted to support a local business. Seeing all the positive reviews, I surprisingly got disappointed. I ordered a falafel sandwich and a side of garlic potatoes. The order seemed rushed, like no care was put into it. My sandwich only contained falafel and tomatoes. Nothing else, little to no sauce. And the potato side? Very small for $6. Barely any sauce. Nothing like the pictures advertised. In the end, it's cheaper elsewhere and more filling. :/

I have been having these Falafels for nearly 10yrs. Leaving the West Island to have some. And now still using the catering services. Loooove the spicy ones! Me and my girlfriend were looking for somewhere to eat. I said I wanted Lebanese, she kept saying “Let’s go to ‘Nouille Forte’ ”. I didn’t want noodles, so I kept saying “nah.” We eventually realized what was happening and had an incredibly good meal at “Nilufar”

Super cheap and really really delicious. A ton of vegan and vegetarian options. I go every day on my lunch break and it never disappoints, the staff is lovely as well.

The worst food ever. Shish Taouk doesn’t even look like chicken. They never owned a rotisserie rotating oven so how are you cooking this marinated chicken with salad dressing.Can’t expect much for $2.00 and the fat girl behind the counter has a very bad attitude. Don’t eat from these people as I’ve seen Mice in there establishment before they shut down. The Landlord of this building is a very nice person as I met him a couple of times. It’s unfortunate that Nilufar refused to sign a lease after the Landlord had asked them kindly for 15 years and they never once agreed to do so leaving the Landlord with no choice but to evict them.

Second, and probably the last time here! Almost the same as first time more than a year ago. Although you may think their prices are really low, but you still pay 10+ times of used materials value! The mushroom sandwich I got had a few slices of burnt mushroom and tomato and rest was a bit sauce and cabbage! The “juice” is an artificial drink mix with an unpleasant after taste.
