Amazing owners, very knowledgable. As a first-time bird owner, they made sure to give me a friendly and trained baby budgie. She is perfect and the sweetest. The owner of the store also gave me a great deal on the bird, along with an awesome cage that had toys and a water feeder, as well as several big bags of food! Highly recommend.

We got a Fischer Lovebird from this store, Carlos the owner never get tired of coaching me on how to tame my little bird, even 10 weeks after sale. He is knowledgeable and has great passion of birds. He did a great job in helping me and my little boy to know how to understand and care the bird. It’s been almost 6 months since I brought home Chānko, my Gloster canary. It was by complete chance I went in, and Carlos and his partner are the warmest people around. You can tell they love what they do. I’m so happy for having this little friend, she brings so much joy. Wonderful store, incredibly compassionate people, you are in good hands, even if you’re nervous about having a bird, they help you with everything you need to know. A must go to place for all bird lovers. They have a wide variety of small birds collection to select from. This small family owned and operated place is very clean and welcoming. Carlos and his wife are very friendly and enthusiastic about educating their customer, sharing their knowledge. I bought my first budgie girls for my daughter's birthday. Later, I bought 2 more_ a boy and a girl. I now have an extended happy family. Thanks to Carlos family. I also buy accessories and budgie foods from here.

I got a loving baby love bird here. I was gonna buy another one, but sadly, it was temporarily closed, but once it opens again, I will be excited to get another love bird. They also have great cages and food.

I made my first visit to this wonderful store yesterday to purchase a beautiful pair of Red Factor Canaries. I’m in my 70’s now and have always had canaries in my life since I received my first for my 5th Birthday. I searched extensively before finding this very special store. The owners were very pleasant and helpful every time I phoned to enquire about the birds. Very patient, helpful and knowledgeable. Yesterday was a delightful experience. The owners Naty and Carlos treat the birds and their clients with true love and kindness. What a lovely energy for all involved. The quality and price of their products (birds, feed and supplies) are the best. I was pleased to learn in detail the very best way to ensure these gorgeous birds a long healthy and happy life. I have had finches as a pet in my classroom and one of my pair died so I needed another. We were so pleased with the healthy birds, the great condition of the cages and the kindness of the staff. We will definitely return in the future!

Hands down the best place to get a bird!! Carlos and Natalia are a beautiful young couple who are extremely passionate about birds. They could spend hours sharing their knowledge with you. The store is not busy, it is small and cozy but the set up is amazing and it feels so peaceful! Everything is clean and you can tell the birds are very happy! There is a large selection of birds from all colors to different ages to select from. I would never consider getting a bird anywhere else. I actually went in to ask a couple questions as I wasn't sure if I should get more budgies and was there for almost 2 hours. I never felt like I was bothering them and I couldn't believe how much stuff I didn't know about budgies before I went in. Thanks Carlos and Natalia for being so good to your birds and customers!

We were looking for a canary and are so happy we found this store! It is so clean and the birds all appeared well cared for and healthy. We chose a Red Factor Canary and were assured he would sing - and there was a two week guarantee. As we drove out of the parking lot he started to belt, and hasn't stopped :) Highly recommend! Thank you for our new bird RB. (stands for Red Bird - not very original naming).

I bought a Love bird from another pet store and I was told i had purchased a baby, after a month i realized that I was lied to! after a google search I found Carlos the owner of my friend the canary who was such a great help! he offered to to help me get a baby love bird and educated me on them and was able to adopt my little guy! I was sad but also happy knowing he was in good hands with Carlos. Came here from the recommendation of a friend and absolutely loved it,I bought 2 baby budgies and the guy was very nice.he gave me some free birdseed to go with my purchase and gave me a few tips.the birds were kept well and looked happy.this is probably the first bird store in the area to care about its birds and I'm very satisfied.

Great place! The owner is super nice, knows his stuff, and clearly loves his birds. My wife and I got a pair of zebra finches and they are great. They were cheaper then any other stores and by quite a lot. Helped us out with a lot of good information, I would recommend this place to others. My birds are home and happy :)

This is the number one spot for new and experienced bird owners. I have bought multiple birds from Carlos. As a young person many older people in the bird world don’t want to educate or they miss lead the younger generation about identifying and raising quality birds, but not Carlos as he had pointed me in the right direction and educated me on what to look for in a good bird. In total I purchased 7 very healthy and singing birds from this pet shop I also referred many people to him all happy and satisfied with their new feathered friends. From single singers to colourful pairs MY FRIEND THE CANARY has it all! Most important the cages and water is always clean, the birds are not crowded in one cage like other pet shops and Carlos will take the time to explain any questions you may have to ensure you and your new bird(s) can live stress free! I highly recommend My Friend the Canary to anybody looking for birds or supplies. This is more then just a pet shop just look for the yellow door on the east side of the plaza with the masjid on the other side of the fence, you can’t miss it. He has help me keep my sanity by providing me with Therapy Birds. They bring Joy and Happiness and keep me company. I Can't say enough of both him and his Wife a family business with a Heart and Looking to bring Joy and Laughter to All by Providing One of his Birds.
