Beautiful area covered in layers of snow that was mind blowing. The visitor center wasn't opened however there was a small indoor area with loads of information available. That was very helpful.

This was a good surprise. They have a decent movie to detail about the formation of crater lake and a gift shop. This is around 2 miles away from the main visitor center and worth driving down and getting more of crater lake history.

To obtain your park passes it’s a smaller building headed towards the direction of Garfield Trailhead right past the bathrooms. They have passport stamps, stickers, passport book extension packs, magnets, shirts and best of all no lines. The clerk was also informative.

Though it is closed and under renovation. I took supplies up for the project. The drive was beautiful the whole way up.

Absolutely breathtaking views. Well worth the side trip or destination to get here and see Crater Lake.

You can get the park map.and the national park seal from here. There is a movie which is played frequently which describes the history of the park. It is always advised to visit the park center and get an idea about the hiking routes and car routes. Many roads are seasonal and at times not functional because of snow. So it's better to ensure the accessibility of the routes/hike path from here before going to the park.

Beautiful! Center offers junior ranger program and an actual ranger went over the book with my son. He loved it.

Crater Lake Visitor's Center & Bookstore. Great selection. They have a video you can watch about Crater Lake but we decided not to watch it because we were there longer than we thought we would be.

I did not go into the visitors center, but this place is gorgeous. Only spent little time there. Very blue. I would love to return with more time.

👍👍 This was a super fun experience. The guides were great too, kept us safe and entertained. Some of the ziplines took a good 30 seconds to get across and you'd reach upwards of 40MPH on them. And there were some great views from high up in the trees there. There's a few rappels too but you don't have...

👍👍 Great observation point! Some parking available, and in case this is full, you can park on the side of the road. From Here you can see the full lake, and get a great view of the Wizard Island. There are a few trails starting at this point, so once you are done with taking pictures of the lake and ju...
