My experience of this park was camping a couple of nights in my bus. Not sure if the park consist of any more than a lot full of campers, and a couple of pit toilets. A large sign makes it clear that camping is limited to 14 days. From my interactions with some of the other campers, it seems like the campers there may vary from short to longer-termers, but I didn’t come right out and ask anyone if they had been there more than 14 days (not my business, not my problem), but I did get asked if I knew “Ryan,” as though I was maybe supposed to know my neighbors at a campsite by name. The context of this conversation was I someone trying to find something that had been stolen from another camper, so points given for looking out for one another, and taken for there being theft apparently. The proximity of the highway and the freight rail line make this not the most serene location to sleep, but then again it was a free parking lot to crash in, so I’m not complaining.

I always enjoy stopping here for a break and letting dogs out. The park is widely used for picnics and fishing. I always see others enjoying this park when I stop. This time there was an unusual amount of , to me, unknown animals running around. I'd never seen these before and took video to investigate them later but they looked like a cross between a squirrel, beaver and small dog. It was interesting to view them because there were over twenty of them. Strange also that other species like squirrels were interacting with them. They stood up like meer cats and were playful. If someone knows what they are I'd love to know. They used to allow overnight here but it's day use only now. Free campsite webpages need to change this because it hasn't been anything other then day use for ages. Very nice place for a pit stop.

It's a very nice spot if you enjoy nature, and there are restrooms and picnic tables but sadly alot of shady things seem to go on there due to the location. Could potentially be dangerous if you're alone there at the wrong time. I would only advise those who like adventure and a bit of danger to go there. Be safe.

Beautiful little day park with ponds, picnic tables and outhouses. Perfect place to stretch your legs and let the kids run for few minutes while on a road trip.

It's a pretty Park. At the beginning of covid they shut down the camping. Now that covid is no longer a factor they still won't allow camping. They need to update their website. That is a campground, that's what it was donated for.

Got into the Klamath area a day early and needed a place to say overnight. The local Walmart doesn't allow overnight parking, so we found this park that does on Google maps. It's a little park that allows you to stay for free with no hookups. But beware of all the dog poop. So sad that people can't clean up after their pets.

We pulled in to have lunch and were pleasantly surprised to find camping is allowed for 14 days! We were looking for a place to spend the night so we decided to stay. We had no problems with any of the people here and there were very few of them. There is a wide parking lot for turning an RV around. Most of the parking/camping spots are really level but there are a few potholes here and there. There are pit toilets but they are the cleanest and least smelly pit toilets I've ever encountered. Yes, you can hear the freeway noise and the trains BUT the trains aren't blowing their whistles and that means there's less noise than most RV parks we've stayed in. The morning sounds of the wetlands were terrific and it was exciting to see snowy egrets flying around the parking lot. There are picnic tables and grass. It's not the best place I've ever stayed but the price is right and it is very convenient.

I would give five stars but I thought this was a free campground so we came to set up but when we got here it states for day use only no over night camping. Its a cute little park for bird watching and picnicing and the toilets need cleaned more often.

Great little park next to I5. Very noisy with constant traffic so plan for earplugs! Rather clean site, restrooms, beautiful hill nearby.

It's a really beautiful park but kind of the hangout spot for welfare warriors, I definitely wouldn't camp here. It is also right next to the highway so you hear every car that goes past.

Park had a couple visitors when we stopped in, pretty sure they were from next door. Very friendly though

My fiance and I were heading over to the coast last week. We stopped here at Hagelsrein County Park for a quick break to stretch our legs. There was a school field trip in progress, so we didn't stay too long. There are some pretty good trails to explore here. They have public restrooms and some nice green grass with shady areas to toss down a blanket or chair. This park is also equipped with picnicking and camping areas. Fresh spring water flows through here as well, it's a great place to fill up a bottle with great tasting water. There's also a small pond with small fish here. We have spent time here on several different occasions. This time was just a quick stop for us, I would definitely recommend a visit if your in the area.

Just a quiet little place off hwy 97 to use restrooms & eat at picnic tables. Take Alogoma exit to get on access road from hwy 97.

This is basically a highway rest area that you can’t stay in overnight. There are big no camping signs and a few shady characters who most likely ruined it for the rest of us. Keep driving!

Really interesting spring fed water features next to national forest access and a boatramp leading to upper Klamath lake

Quiet except for the traffic on the highway. But isn't difficult to tune most of it out. It seems to be less a "park" and more like a small rest area. It has a small 🚻 restroom. A few picnic tables. Fire pits/BBQ pits. It's on some water, which is always nice. There isn't a playground for kids to play on. There isn't any camping or overnight stays allowed. It's basically a little gravel drive. There seems to be a parking area on the other side of the restrooms. It's all gravel. And you have to go out the same way you entered. It was nice. We were the only ones in that area. Was a nice little spot to enjoy before heading back home. 😊

👍👍 This was a super fun experience. The guides were great too, kept us safe and entertained. Some of the ziplines took a good 30 seconds to get across and you'd reach upwards of 40MPH on them. And there were some great views from high up in the trees there. There's a few rappels too but you don't have...
