Love our land, and forest! It's so beautiful. Tired of people who leave their trash in my homelands. Facemasks, bottles, cans, nipple shield packages, etc.. Stay out, stay home if you can't respect nature, if this is how you are, then I think you are trash. Kindly stay home where you belong, hidden. That's where ugly belongs.

I'm a mountain girl when it comes to most beautiful areas to travel and stay for camping. If you love trees or not with countryside beauty you have a huge variety in this area. The pictures you see here are of a place in this forest where people have chosen to place memorials for loved ones who have passed and loved this forest for one reason or another. My folks want to be remembered here as well. They visited in this forest for years while and fell in love with this area as well. I just had to see it before we needed to. The people you see in the pictures are my momma and my brother.

Enter through Lakeview to the park, camped in Sandhill crossing there’s lot of fresh water to swim a little. Got to see the harvest Moon while there, be careful leaving food outside the birds don’t think twice in taking it they are pretty fast

Beautiful waterfalls around every corner. Rafting and fly fishing. Warm springs and river temps ranging from freezing to 80+. You won't get bored.

Always an inspiring place to visit even with a smokey haze from a nearby forest fire. The rim road is under construction so don't plan on getting around the crater quickly.

I visited Winema National Forest multiple times over the Summer ( and do most summers) and every time I visit I find new places to explore. The Sky Lakes Wilderness area is a vast source for exploration. Make sure you pack a water filter as there is a lot of exposure in certain hiking areas. Getting in the trails are nice and gradual, however, once you're into the Sky Lakes area you can expect the trails to become more difficult the further you go.

We found a pretty nice place for dispersed camping not far off the highway after spending a few days in Yellowstone. Nice relaxing evening before hitting the road again.

👍 Nice large facility with lots of parking. The field 3 where we played had no grass, only dirt surrounding it, so wind and facility vehicles stirred up a lot of dirt. Bathrooms were clean. There was a snack bar and food truck.
