The room is good and clean, the design is modern and lighting all are great. It's even better than some of the five stars hotel I stayed before. The swimming pool is small but it has a stunning view over KL tower! Amazing. During my stayed, the water is not clean. Called the front desk but no positive response from them. No follow up.

The stay was great! Booked the room for my birthday staycation, which the hotel was very kind to make my stay special with a simple complimentary birthday setup in my room before I checked in, and was blown away that I actually got my room upgraded which I deeply appreciate the nice gesture the hotel has given to make my stay extra special. Also, the room was ready an hour earlier before my mobile check in at around 1330 hours and I was able to check in earlier to enjoy the hotel's amenities much longer. The downside of my stay was that there was a very obvious orange pillow stain right before I was heading to bed. Pillow stains aside, my overall stay has been wonderful, would pay a visit again someday.

There is a very personal story here for me especially because part of this hotel holds my family's heritage. My grandfather once owned one of this shop/home which now collectively makes up Stripes Hotel on Jalan Kamunting. As you can see from my dad's birthday certificate when he was born on October 1928, the registered address was 29, Jalan Kamunting. Right. On to the review. Stripes is one of the many Autograph Collection properties of YTL with its membership program under the Marriott Bonvoy stewardship. This can only means that guests here will be treated with what I like to call as The Curated Living experiences of the Yeoh's. Unlike many international hotel chains, YTL Hotels are unique individually for the richness in cultural and human stories that breathes life into the site. You can feel a strong sense of harmony as it blends into the fabric of time so seamlessly. Every part of this hotel is design to preserve and tell the story of this part of Old KL. And under such a cohesive concept, a sense of hospitality adventure is born and becomes the Autograph Collection's signature destination of choice. Totally enjoyed my stay and thanks to everyone here for making my stay memorable. Highly recommended.

We had 1 night before our flight home in the hotel. We were able to take a shower in the evening next to pool area before driving to airport. Nice area to stroll around the hotel with some nice food options. Hotel/rooms super clean, beds very comfy. Friendly and helpful staff. Very nice pool with pool towels. We were a bit sad that pool already closed at 7 in the evening. Would prefer to enjoy skyline while swimming in the evening. Aircon in room was a bit loud.

Absolutely epic hotel, great value for money, and really beautiful decorations in the rooms. The rooftop pool is a bit cold for my taste, but that's just me. Beautiful bathroom with large shower and good amenities. Perfect AC. Great breakfast. Perfect staff.

Excellent hotel, great staff, amazing breakfast spread - all tasty ๐Ÿ˜‹ the sausages are real, not franks. The eggs are all well done. Fruits are great.. hash browns amazing. Parking is well managed by the valet. Highly recommended.

Lovely part of KL which is not so crowded at night but near to some notable eateries. Room is spacious with good exterior lighting from large windows. Bed is superbly comfortable with down pillows and quilt. The rain shower is a welcomed pleasure after a day out.

Itโ€™s not 5 stars hotel as described.. Not clean, Iโ€™ve found hair dreads in the shower room for the Deluxe choice room.. The breakfast buffet is bad, most of food is cold (e.g. Hash browns , Waffles, Pancakes,... etc) and the food tastes bad. The desert bar just has 3 choices and tastes bad.. The fruits bar most of the time empty.

Nice hotel, swimming pool with a beautiful view of the city, but the service really need some improvements. On several occasions there were no towels available at the pool. Some staff members at the pool bar are quite unfriendly, some of them give the impression that you are bothering them when you ask smth. I have stayed at this hotel three years ago and the service was much better then.

I recently stayed at this hotel and was thoroughly impressed by its modern and contemporary interior and exterior. Being a Marriott Bonvoy member, the deal I got was truly a good bargain. The inclusion of complimentary breakfast and dinner was a delightful surprise. However, the trade-off was that parking was only available through valet service. The pool offered a spectacular view, although it was a bit small. The room itself was spacious, providing ample comfort. What I particularly enjoyed was the abundance of cafes and bars in the surrounding area, making it convenient to explore. The dining area was nicely designed, adding to the overall ambiance of the stay. All in all, a great choice for those who appreciate both style and convenience.

I rarely provide feedback or write reviews, especially on the first day. Part 1 My check-in experience at this hotel went smoothly and quickly at 9:00 PM. I was promptly escorted to a room located on a high floor with a fairly decent view. However, an unfortunate incident occurred where I injured my heel on something sharp hidden in the edge of the carpet. It turned out there was a protruding nail due to the uneven carpet edge. A technician came to inspect, but the carpet repair took quite some time, so I was advised to relocate to another room. The new room was on a lower floor and lacked a good view, only overlooking a large building and rooftops. I thought everything would be fine, but unfortunately, the AC noise in the new room was quite disturbing, making it difficult for me to sleep. I had to contact the front desk again, and I was advised to change rooms, but I declined as I was already tired. Eventually, one of the staff members sent earplugs and suggested the AC be checked again. In the morning, no hotel staff came to contact me. I had to contact the front desk twice as there was no response. Part 2 On that unfortunate day, upon returning from sightseeing around the city around 2:00 PM, I found that my room had not been cleaned. When I complained and requested a refund, only one day (out of the remaining 2 days) could be refunded. Furthermore, they mentioned that requests for room cleaning should be made between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM. What!! Even in the room, there was only a small sign that said, "Do not disturb". I was extremely angry and disappointed with the hotel, but I didn't want to embarrass myself by shouting in the lobby. They offered me a room upgrade and free breakfast, which I declined. I absolutely do not recommend this hotel for people who value service details. If you expect mediocre service and compensation in the form of free breakfast and room upgrades, then this is the right hotel for you. This should be a matter of concern for the hotel management. I frequently stay at Marriott Group hotels, and in my opinion, the customer service at this hotel needs to be improved.

Great hotel for a great price. The rooms are amazing and clean. The location is perfect; it's in the middle of a lively neighbourhood with a lot of nice restaurants. It's also easy to reach by Grab. Walking to the train station is 5-7 minutes. Why no 5 stars? The breakfast is mediocre and the drinks and the food at the rooftop bar are also not great. The view from the rooftop is nice! Definitely recommend this place.

The comfortability of the room, the iconic & historical design of the exterior and the warmth hospitality are the main reason for our 4th visit. And the top pick for our yearly staycation or special occasion celebration stay. The place comes with it own uniqueness and located around many delicious eateries. Let not go far, Brasserie 25 within the hotel ground level served the best high tea (we had it 3 years ago before the pandemic), it was really fantastic & mesmerising. But it might not be available for now. Best call in advance to make enquiry. For all would be visitor, please take note that they only offer valet parking and their parking lot is not accessible to guests. Hence, guest is advisable to bring along all the needed item or luggage with you upon check in. Otherwise, you would have to pay RM10 for the valet service just for them to send u the car to collect an item. The attitude of the valet (could be 3rd part service) leave much to be desired. However, the hotel concierge service are courteous.

This was a great hotel experience. The rooms are beautiful, spotlessly clean and well outfitted with amenities. The rooftop bar and pool are great additions, especially in the KL heat. It was well located in Chow Kit, with plenty of restaurants and cafes around. The staff were attentive, friendly and professional. Highly recommend!

Enjoyed the unique decor and modern, updated rooms. Breakfast was pleasantly surprising in terms of quality and variety of items offered. Lounge was closed while I was there but I was satisfied with the provided alternative. Gym is just about adequate. Pool has a fairly good view but not as good as some of the alternatives available. I took a star off because of a few service hiccups... Fairly long waits both checking in and out, as well as when I went down for assistance. The pool was closed for cleaning/maintenance one day I was there and then rented for a private event for another day and a half. So potentially someone staying 3 days at the hotel (where the pool is advertised fairly prominently) would barely get to use it. This seems to be pretty common in KL for whatever reason, that hotels rent out common spaces in a way that devalues experiences for other guests. It's pretty contra the hospitality experience but somewhat understandable given the challenging operating environment. Hopefully they'll do this less once guest traffic picks up.

Location is fine. But then under this group of hotel. U can expect less than 2mbps Internet speed. So avoid if u need Internet. Room is fine but small. Also, they provide valet service but in the morning they told me the jockey will report to work on 930am only. So u need to go get your car despite a valet service paid. Breakfast spread is very small.

I have always liked a hotel with good ambiance. I cannot deny how good Hotel Stripes. The room is quite nice and not big. But its kinda weird to have sink outside of the bathroom. From check in to check out, the process was went smoothly. If you donโ€™t know what to do in the hotel, you can walk around there.

The hotel is clean and cozy, the check-in experience was nice, they will park the car for you with just RM10 per stay (excluded from room charge). The staff was helpful, stayed for 3 days 2 nights, the breakfast is quite limited of variety compare to other 5 stars hotel, but it was delicious though. The location of the hotel is very nearby to KL tower, within a walking distance, the hotel itself surrounded by cafes, restaurants and stalls, its so convenient to get dinner or lunch, also within walking distance. I stayed in the Executive Deluxe Room, it is very very spacious, there is working table and sofa bed, the entertainment is quite limited, with only few channels. The scenery from the pool is facing the KL tower, is just nice. Overall i would rate the stay 4.7/5.

First of all: we received a good upgrade as a platinum elite member incl breakfast vouchers for the days we stayed. The bed is super comfortable, which is most important. Depending on the location of the room you might wake up by hearing a bass until very late at night. But it was ignorable for me. However, worst was for me the breakfast. Beside not having a very big choice, the Aircon runs on blizzard mode, making not only the guests freezing, but also the food. None of the food was warm. None (unless your ordered egg came right out of the pan). Also the coffee machines are the slowest I have seen in years. So generally a nice hotel, but with some room for improvement.

First experience staying at a boutique hotel and this absolutely surpassed all expectations! Fairly cheap compared to most hotels, however the room was absolutely gorgeous and the staff were super attentive checking in multiple times during the day to see if we had all we needed. The open pool on the roof was also super relaxing and a great place to take in the city from. 10/10 will be back here again the next time I visit KL! ๐Ÿ˜„

Went here to eat, so can't comment on the rooms. Food price is reasonable, good service & it's delicious. They have promos / special menu from time to time which can be a breath of fresh air. Hopefully they will keep this up! I'm a bit disappointed on their membership department though, had applied 3 times but the application form seems to always "magically" disappear. Perhaps there's some unspoken T&C...Hope someone will improve on this.

Check in time was 3pm. We arrived at 3.20pm and were being told our room is not ready yet, were being asked to wait somewhere random in the hotel, without any refreshment being served, not even plain water. And a glass of juice was only served after 45 mins of waiting. And that was not all! We booked for a room with dinner included and were being asked to choose for dinner session at either 6pm or 8pm. We chose 6pm and arrived at 6.15pm. Ridiculously, we were being told that we have to come at 8pm session cause all tables have been fully booked. But only 10% of the tables were occupied. And I was given with an answer saying those tables have been reserved by outside guest. Seriously Stripes Hotel? We are your guest too, we paid for the dinner and we booked our dinning slot properly, and why do we deserve this kind of treatment? No more return visit from me, Stripes Hotel. Update: The Assistant Manager, Diana came to us during our dinner to apologize for what we've been through and offer us some wine + extended check out time. PR wasn't that bad.

The hotel exceed my expectation. For the price I paid, this is the best value you can get in KL. Breakfast was good too. Shower has 'bench' for sitting which is brilliant. Bed super comfy. I go there for my honeymoon and they are kind enough to decorate the room and even leave a super delicious cake for me. Very very much appreciated :) sorry I forgot took photos to be posted. Cheers to the hotel team for their thoughtfulness.

I donโ€™t write reviews often for hotels, but have stayed at tons as a consultant (often at Autograph hotels in the US). Generally always a great brand/experience, hence choosing this for its value for our stay in KL. The good: - Great pool and view from the pool - Walkable to a bunch of great restaurants one block west The bad/strange: - The wifi never worked for more than 2-3 minutes at a time; never experienced this before - When we arrived, no one came to help with bags though 3 employees were out front chattingโ€”only after we checked in and made it to the elevator (when we didnโ€™t need help) did one run over - Our room had an empty liquor bottle under a table when we walked in; made us question if it was actually cleaned - The safe was locked on arrival; had to call multiple people to finally get it reset so we could stow valuables - Looking out the window, thereโ€™s a 1-2 foot ledge, littered with cigarettes from (presumably) the construction crew; again, just gave that unclean vibe Overall I wanted to love this hotel, but definitely not Autograph quality. Hopefully a few little tweaks can bring them there.

The hotel is absolutely worth its price. Super nice room with sufficient amenities. Great service and located in a pretty strategic area with a lot of restaurants and coffee shops around the corner. I give 4 stars for service because the waiting area to check-in / out can be a bit crowded with not enough seats and I had to queue for breakfast (not more than 10 mins, tho). And the bar on the rooftop is kind of dull. 4 stars for location bc you still have to take a taxi to go to bukit bintang (except if you're okay with walking for 30 mins). Other than that, definitely a nice place to stay!

Really pleasant stay at Hotel Stripes; rooms are stunning and really clean with nice details. Only complain is the mini-fridge, which wasnโ€™t very cold. The service is great and everyone is very friendly :) We really enjoyed the rooftop pool as well.

We spent 4 nights at Hotel Stripes as an end to our 4 years of living and working in Malaysia. It was clean, the staff were friendly and the pool area was relaxing. Lots of great places to eat nearby, both local stalls and restaurants. We didnโ€™t eat at the hotel but enjoyed our stay. They have valet parking for a small fee. We would not hesitate to stay there again.

Staying at the Stripes Hotel has been a very enjoyable experience. Itโ€™s in a good location for exploring the city, close to the train station. The staff have all been very friendly and helpful. Excellent views from the room but the best feature for us was the rooftop bar and swimming pool with superb views of the City and especially the magnificent KL Tower. Complimentary drinks and tasty snacks were served there every evening by the charming barmen Zaman and Taleb to name but two.

Great place to stay in KL. Staff are really nice, they make sure we are comfortable and happy while staying here. The rooftop pool and bar are awesome, and their breakfast of local food was so good that it was much better than any other local restaurant we went to.

A hidden hotel in the middle of the city. Easily accessible to Dang Wangi LRT station and located near a lot of shops. A shopping mall is right across the street as well. We stayed for a week and had easy access to everything. Concierge was friendly and helpful at all times. We even had dinner one night at the restaurant and the seafood platter was amazing! But the best part for all you car drivers out there is the valet that has a one time only charge of RM10 throughout your stay! So worth it.

Awesome hotel in a very centric location in Kuala Lampur. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. Wonderful staff and great service. The view from the rooftop is stunning ๐Ÿ˜ The only negative impression I was left with was the fact that the rooms aren't well exposed to daylight because of a brick structure that surrounds the building.

This is a really good hotel. The location is great - both in terms of local food and bars, but also proximity to tourist attractions and even some nice city walks. The staff are welcoming and efficient and the rooms are comfy. The gym and pool area is great - come up to the rooftop at sunset and have a great view. If you're a Marriott elite member, then you'll be given some drinks and snacks.

Lovely hotel and Central enough location. Staff all friendly and welcoming. Breakfast area is small and appears to get crowded around 9am, at which stage you may need to wait for a table. We ended up sitting outside as there were people ahead of us also waiting, good selection of breakfast buffet to choose from. Rooms are modern and very clean with a fridge also in the rooms. Rooms have UK plug sockets which was a bonus.

After a long flight this hotel was everything we hoped for! Our stay was amazing and the room was fabulous. The rooms were equipped with luxurious amenities! The breakfast spread was lovely and had a lot of varieties to suit everyone. The staff were always kind and very helpful. Would definitely return to this hotel if we stay in KL.

We stayed here for four nights on our way back to the UK from Australia. The staff are excellent and very helpful, whether booking taxis or pointing us in the right direction at breakfast. The hotel is located quite close to both a monorail and a LRT (Metro) station which was convenient. The rooms are comfortable with efficient air-con, however the view is almost non-existent as the hotel has curious brick cladding which cuts out most of the natural light. We probably wouldn't stay here again.

My spouse and I decided to celebrate our first wedding anniversary with a stay at this lovely hotel, opting for the "Stay Grill & Chill" package which included a one-night stay, dinner, and breakfast for two. I must say, it offered exceptional value for the price. The staffs were friendly to assist you and they went above and beyond to make our anniversary special by surprising us with balloons and delicious macarons in our room. It was a heartwarming gesture that set the tone for a memorable stay. The comfort of the room was outstanding. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. One highlight worth mentioning is the shower. It had fantastic water pressure, a seemingly small detail but one that greatly enhanced our experience. Parking was only RM10 for hotel guest, and they offered valet service. You just need to park your car in front of the hotel and the staff will assist you with the parking.

Lovely modern hotel in a quiet but good location, breakfast room is quite small and had to wait in the lobby during a busy time once for about 15 minutes. Good selection of local and international choices. Room is big but bathroom sink not in bathroom and next to the bed, plus brickwork on the outside of the window makes it hard to see out. Rooftop swimming pool and bar is great, wonderful views across KL. Got charged approx 300MYR for a small amount of laundry, quick service but prices weren't shown. Staff were attentive (especially Vanessa on front desk) and understanding when we had an issue with the travel agent (Rehlut) not paying the room cost.

Great service and an amazing buffet. However, one thing that made me uneasy is the fact that there was no fire escape route as I overheard a British couple asking to walk up the stairs and they were told no stairs by the staff and when they voiced their concerns a supervisor was trying to alleviate their fears that there's a closed exit but the couple was persistent about what happened if there was a fire which is random. Well! Same night there was a fire alarm went off and I was a bit nervous and excited to leave that day. Hotel must address this situation ASAP!!!

The worst hotel I have ever stayed in my life: 1- Very bad behavior from the employees. 2- They forced me to use a credit card to pay more than $150 as a deposit, and when I refused, I was threatened to cancel the reservation which is normal but I have already tried The ritz and every mariot hotel and this is the first time I encounter something like this. 3- The worst breakfast in terms of taste and options. I do not recommend booking a breakfast at all. 4- The room was very, very small compared to its price and was not cleaned perfectly every day. 5- To their credit, they made a thoughtful gesture by providing a pleasant surprise. Since I had to depart from the hotel at dawn, they went the extra mile and arranged a light breakfast for me before my journey to the airport. This considerate act was much appreciated.

This chic and trendy business hotel is located at a quieter part of town, surrounded by many cool but small restaurants within walking distance. Hotel rooms are nice, crew are friendly, rooftop bar facing KL tower is a landmark. Car parks is valet type so expect a little wait for driver to retrieve cars from their own car lift system at the back.

I stayed here two weeks and have never been sad to leave a hotel before this one! All the staff are very helpful and super professional, Abdul our housekeeper did an amazing job and was so kind. Breakfast is great and the gym too, all the machines were working well and it's pretty spacious. The location is great, in a nice very walkable little neighbourhood with lots of great restaurants and cafes. I went back to SARL (delicious cheap Sri lankan food), Kooky Plate (great breakfasts, coffee and cakes) and the noodle soup place next door to the hotel many many times. There is a yoga studio called Jal two minutes away which has unbelievably good classes. Don't hesitate to stay here.

From parking till i was at the rooftop. The experience was really bad. Bar attendant was rude. I was walking to get a table. And the staff just walk pass and place the reserve sign without saying anything. Staff communication is really bad. I take this is rude behaviour. At least say something ' its under reserve or etc ' rather than walk away and give us one kind of look.

AWESOME PLACE TO STAY! Warmest welcome from all staff. Very good service. From front desk to the jockey who assisted me at the carpark. Everyone was polite and courteous to us. We changed table during dinner because my friend couldn't sit in high chair due to medical reasons. They assisted us with smile and without complain. The food was nice too. Our room was clean. All essential amenities provided. Good point is there are two large bottles of water in room. Only one complain, oke of the bath towels has stains but I didn't make it a fuss since everything else was gooooood! Had a stay in 5-star hotel in Bukit Bintang a week before, the service unfortunately is below par. Well done Hotel Stripe. You guys are awesome! I hope you guys are being paid handsomely for the service. Thank you!

A nice not so big hotel located at the heart of the city. Walking distance to some of the famous eateries and Dang Wangi LRT. Do check out the roof top bar next to the pool. Room size is just nice, pool is not very big. Overall a nice experience for a short getaway.

extremely late check in, we came in and check in at 3pm and they told us the room is not ready, waited for an hour and a half till 4.30pm till the concierge called us to check into our room. we even had to wait around in the limited couches available in level 2 till the waiting room is opened for us. elevators are slow, there's only 3 elevators available and one elevator was not working. booked for the first slot of the dinner during my check in, only to find that they have no table for me because they reserved the table for customer who are not staying with them staffs were not helpful and they seemed understaffed whatever the good reviews were, it's probably paid reviews, rooms are ok though during the dinner the assistant manager Diana came and apologized for all the inconveniences, and offered wines for us plus extended check-out time. at least all hopes are not lost, but need to work on their service during peak season/hours

The room was not properly maintained when we stayed here. The food was bland and of poor and cheap quality. Did not enjoy the visit here at all.

Stayed for a night in December 2021. Wasn't as good as what i had anticipated. Service - Service was good. From check in to the service in the restaurant. No issue on this part. Room - Took studio room and it was ok. Pros - It was spacious and bathroom was clean, shower was strong. Enough options on the TV channels. Cons - There were dusts in some area. Cleaning can be more thorough especially nowadays. Bed and pillow too soft, not to my liking. Got a stiff neck in the morning. Soundproofing not the best and could hear whenever next door turned on the shower. LOL.. Food - Had dinner grill and brunch the next morning. Don't think it's worth the price. It's better to go nearby to eat. Dinner - The grill platter was disappointing. Definitely not like what you see on their posts online. Taste wise was just ok. Could have included some drinks instead of just water and the water tasted weird. Requested to change the cup but still the same.. urggh... Brunch - Food was better. Had the burger and my partner had petite breakfast. Again, could have included coffee/tea or juice as part of it. If you are just staying and planned to explore KL, then it's quite a good location. If you plan a staycation and to stay and eat in the hotel, then i feel that it can be quite disappointing.

Valet parking is RM20 (had to park there because everywhere else ran out space). Not only did they not drive my car up (valet?), but they also pretended to โ€œlookโ€ for change for 10 minutes.

One of my favourite autograph collection ๐Ÿ’• the first time I stayed here, felt like I was back in Hotel Republic San Diego (same aesthetics and vibe). Quite crowded during weekends, be warned! Food is soooo good, and the drinks are nice. The pool area is a bit on the smaller side so it gets really crowded during PH, but the beautiful view makes up for it ๐Ÿ˜Š consistently upgraded and got late check out honored as Marriott Titanium, and I love the little notes and biscuits ๐Ÿ˜

It was our anniversary getaway in this unique, beautiful boutique hotel located at the city of centre. Very clean, spacious room and thank you for reserving the room with KL Tower view for our stay. Breakfast buffet spread was good, and the staff was helpful & attentive. Great stay and highly recommended for staycation / anniversary.

Amazing experience. The swimming pool has an amazing view. Both day and night time. The staffs are extremely helpful and kind. Their breakfast menu is good. Their nasi lemak were delicious. Unfortunately the restaurant and pool side bar are open on weekends only, didnโ€™t get to try it since we stay on weekdays.

Great hotel all around. The price was reasonable, elite status honoured with an upgrade to a studio, free late checkout honoured, great views from the rooftop at night. The hotel is stylish and the rooms functional. The WiFi was superb with over 50mb offered both ways. The location is very practical with many nice restaurants in the area.

We are currently staying in the hotel. Everything has surpassed expectations but the kindness of the staff goes above and beyond. I had a medical emergency and they were so helpful in assisting me and supporting my husband and two young children to extend stay in the hotel as I cannot yet fly to our next destination. The room cleaning staff are exceptional and it is certainly a 5*. Highly recommend

Boutique luxury hotel offering from YTL. Youโ€™ll fine some amenities are similar to their other properties such as Majestic Hotel KL. Walkable from LRT Dang Wangi. I suggest that do the walking before dark. Thereโ€™s no underground parking; therefore, parking spaces are limited. The room is nice and comfortable, with a boutique vibe. The lobby can be very quiet with only one or two receptionists. Thereโ€™s no guards outside.

Right in the heart of Downtown KL, this hotel has the best location for dinner and bars. If you're into night life and exploring look no further. The 'feeling' of the hotel is a bit sterile. The service was highly professional but not friendly. Our room also had no soap for the sink and only a single bathroom towel for 2 people. My wife and I had to share the towel. Little things but you'd expect the rooms to be top notch. Buffet breakfast included with stay. All in all, worth the stay.

Unique hotel with amazing interior. 5star customer service ,Cleanliness damn satisfying, nice infinity pool, superb clean room and the breakfast is simply delicious.. Must visit their coffee house BRASSERIE 25 for their food and the customer service especially Mr. Faruk who serve the omelette with his smiley face...last, thanks all the staffs in the hotel including front office, bellman, housekeeping and securities for their excellent service.

The room I had last night was comfortable, I wished they would upgrade their bed. A little too thin and hard for me. Front office, valet and concierge were efficient. Just a small comment for front office. One young man was rather abrupt while handling my checkout. He was efficient, but unwelcoming.

One of the best hotels I stayed in....everything in this hotel was so neat and clean and tastefully designed that you want to spend more and more time there. The couch, chairs, bed mattress, linen, sleep quality, bathroom, towels, toiletries, everything was perfect. All the rooms have very nice views. On one side you will get a city landscape and on another side a majestic KL tower with a city view. You can spend your time soaking in the rooftop infinity pool looking at KL tower and the city. Twin tower is only partially seen from the top but it is not a dealbreaker at all. We had very little food there, only breakfast because we are vegetarian and there was not much option but still, they have sufficient items for us too. The best thing is, the staff was always helpful if we need something. The Check-in process was super smooth even though we were early. There are plenty of restaurants at just walking distance from the hotel, Indian, vegetarian, continental, and every kind of restaurant you can find at a distance of a maximum of 10 minutes walk. there is a Michelin-star restaurant just opposite the hotel. Malls, markets everything is nearby still the area is peace full. The twin towers are just 15 minutes walk. Overall, it was a pleasant and memorable experience.

One of the best hotel in KL i ever stayed. Staff was very polite and patience when they are unable to find our booking as we booked through Agoda but thankfully all ended up well. Room is big, clean, cozy & comfortable throughout the entire stay. Location wise was not too bad as the hotel is surrounded by quite a few nice bars & cafes :) Room that I was assigned to has a nice view of the KL tower. Other than that there's no mini fridge in the room. Probably gonna stay here again if I were ever to be in KL. Duration of stay (1 night) 9 Oct - 10 Oct

This is an average hotel given the brand... First the bed and mattress. Some may like it, but they are quite hard. It feels like sleeping on a wooden table at the hips after a while and it is very uncomfortable. The quality of service is not really good (probably went down with Covid). English is a struggle for a good number of employees, and organization seems a bit heptic. Some rooms like mine have a simple door separating them from the neighbor room, not very good for intimacy. The local restaurant is only opened 2 days a week and their food quality is quite bad.

Very happy with our 5 night stay here. The room is very nice, the location is close to the monorail and the metro. Both a 5 min walk away from the hotel. The bar is good, although the pool has just a depth of 1,2 meter. Only downside is the hard pillows, which made it difficult to sleep.

Clean and tidy and good value for money considering the central location. Love the Man Tao Bar , a relaxing space for chill . Recommended!

Enjoyed my three-night stay here. Room rates are very attractive, and I received a complementary upgrade to a spacious studio room. The beds are comfortable and the hotel seemingly provides a turndown service (though I only got this on the 3rd night. Small thing and didn't bother me, but just thought it odd). The pool (and the view) are as pictured and it's easy enough to spend an afternoon just reading, swimming, and having a drink at the rooftop bar. Though elevators advertise 1+1 in certain drinks during evening hours the bartender upstairs didn't seem to know about it (again, small thing). Breakfast was included in my rate. It was good, though as various other reviews have also noted the options are fairly limited and don't vary by day. Eggs are freshly made upon request, all the rest is buffet style. The expected mix of Western and Asian (though skewed Western), and tasty enough.

Recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Stripes Kuala Lumpur and I have to say, it was a great experience. The location of the hotel was fantastic, very close to all the major tourist spots in KL, making it very convenient to explore the city. The hotel itself was well-appointed, with modern and stylish decor. The room was comfortable and clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of food options and it was delicious. I was impressed with the amenities offered by the hotel, such as the rooftop pool and gym. They were perfect for relaxing and unwinding after a long day of sightseeing. Overall, I had a great stay at Hotel Stripes Kuala Lumpur and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay in the city

Very good value for money. I travel to KL for business 4-5 times a year, and have tried 6- 7 hotels over the past few years, and this is definitely one of the best. The rooms are clean and comfortable, decent rooftop pool, and the location is great - just outside of the busiest areas (which are horrible to stay in), a good selection of shops and eateries (from affordable local fare to fancy international restaurants).

Went there for my husband birthday and remarked that it was for my husbandโ€™s bday so I arranged my items to be sent over when we are out. Came back with a surprise cake and note from hotel too ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿซถ๐Ÿป The room is spacious, the pool is gorgeous! The KL Tower view is so clear ๐Ÿ˜ Many good food is around the hotel, and many place to explore using either grab or train :)

I had a 5 star stay at Hotel Stripes! It was the perfect getaway vacation with all the luxurious service and amenities expected from a 5 star hotel. Price is good for value. The hotel is on the border of the KLCC area, so most of the time I ordered Grab to get to the city centre, but it is still walkable in the mornings after a good breakfast and the sun / heat isn't too strong. Being away from the extremely busy city center meant I was able to enjoy peace and quiet. The rooftop bar with an infinity pool is a big highlight of this hotel. The pool can get busy. Highly recommended.
