Good campsite, but 3 * because of the following: Wifi only available in one location, very low on choice at the bistro which was not open often. The breakfast area was great but we only realised on the last day you could order rolls. Coffee very good. Pitches are not marked out so you're lucky if you have enough space and a good spot....we did, fortunately. Electric and water well supplied, washing up facilities need updating, showers and loos OK. Payment by cash only....really? In 2022?

Very nicely located place in Kleinmachnow near Berlin. Offers everything a campsite needs. The sanitary facilities are clean and well maintained. Unfortunately, the only catch is the price... €41.50 per night for a motorhome with 2 people and 2 dogs is very sporty in autumn. To date I have never paid over €30 for the same configuration.

This is a great location for a stay when visiting Berlin. It is in an attractive location next to a canal and forest, with ample opportunities for walking and cycling. The area is also full of history relating to West Berlin and East Berlin. There are easy connections to public transport to get into the city. The campsite is clean and tidy and can provide breakfast. I didn't use the wifi, but it is available. It is easy to find, just off the 115 motorway.

We spent three nights here in a tent. The place is OK, clean, with washing machines, free showers and very reasonable prices. The problem is a nearby highway with lots of traffic the whole night, so I'd probably have problems sleeping if I wasn't tired from spending whole days walking around in Berlin. :) We were also surprised there were no mosquitos although the place is by the canal.

We had a parking space here and the barrier-free room. The room was a triple with a super large bathroom and a walk-in closet. The furnishings are rather simple but have everything you need and are clean. The campsite is not parceled out but there is enough space. Our parking space was right on the canal with a great view of the canal and the countryside. The sanitary facilities were very clean. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. This was certainly not our last stay at this place.

Perfect camp when visiting Berlin city. The staff is very nice and helpfull, toilet/bathing facilities are clean. The campsite is quiet and green with a cute view on the canal. Great value for what you get, nothing special but for a night or 2 it's perfect.

The lady there literally saved me. After an extremely long day of travel every place in Berlin was sold out due to a lot of big events in the city, but she managed to find a spot for me and my small tent. Thank you ♥️

A very nice campsite. It is located in the former East-West Berlin border area, directly on the canal. The border tower was converted into a washhouse. Everything is on site and you can get into the city quickly with public transport. Absolutely ok in terms of price, but only cash payment!

The room was clean. Service was ok. Our room was with four beds. Outside of the city and near the river so its very calm. Breakfast was standard, nothing special.

The construction work while I was there was a bit disturbing. The washing machines are not clean. No towels in the bathroom. The soap was thinned out with water. WiFi was only usable at the bar (barely). However, the scene at the bar was cosy.

Im very disappointed they changed the price of our stay at checkout when we paid, if you are 2 people and want to stay for 3 nights be expected to pay €250+. We expected to pay €144 (€48 per night) like it says on their website for 2 people. They also only accept cash and it is a pain in the a** finding the closest working ATM (it's by the train station). I am very disappointed, if I knew it would be so expensive I would have chosen a downtown hotel.

Its ok. They advertise a beer garden but this was never open the three days we were here. They do not accept card payment and this is the most severe problem. This is why I will remove one whole star. Otherwise, ok site with room for large tents and camping vehicles. Clean washrooms.

Perfect place to plug your camper/rv/motor home. The facilities are good. Neat and clean. The was area is decent and well kept. Ample space to walk and jog. The mornings are nice with the canal on one side. The only thing that i did not lune was that it shuts the gate at 11pm.

First of all the staff were all really friendly and this seemed to rub off onto the campers because the atmosphere on the site was really good. Right on the canal that was the East/West border and lots of history on the site and the immediate vicinity so take a walk in the woodlands. You can also swim or paddleboard or kayak but there are some big boats so keep your eyes open. Very dog friendly and fair prices. Great location with Potsdam and Berlin both close and Potsdam is most certainly within easy cycling distance.

Nice campsite right on the Teltow Canal. Sanitary facilities are simple, but always clean. Breakfast offering available. Great for the day of departure :-) One point deducted because you can't pay by card.

I stayed at the hotel for a weekend, so the rating applies exclusively to the hotel complex, not to the campsite. The hotel is fine for a weekend trip if you are out and about most of the time. The ladies who also look after the breakfast buffet are also very friendly, you felt like you were in good hands and the food was okay too, there was enough to choose from. The location is also not far from the city, so it doesn't take too long. The WiFi worked without any problems and the beds were clean and comfortable. Unfortunately, I have to criticize the overall appearance of the room as well as the cleanliness: apart from the furniture, the room looks pretty dated. The bathroom could use an update, especially the faucet. It only works with a sensor, which also lasts for a very short time, so you have to keep your hand under it at all times. Things that have been drilled into the wall are either hanging crooked or are drilled in poorly. The room door shows heavy signs of wear and tear and the refrigerator hardly cools at all and, if only for a short time, makes a loud noise at night. Unfortunately, of the 2 windows, only 1 of them has an insect net, which is quite inconvenient in this location. There are also random nails hanging on the walls. Regarding cleanliness: some towels had permanent stains, not all surfaces in the bathroom were wiped down and the carpet was unfortunately so old that if you walked through the room with socks on, they would be a bit gray afterwards. In addition, construction work was being carried out in the hotel at the time and you were constantly woken up by the noise, as it started very early and was directly in front of the room, which was a bit annoying. I also think it's a shame that you can only pay with cash there.

We used the campsite here as our base to drive the Berlin Wall Trail. The course is located directly on the Teltow Canal in the countryside. The individual pitches are sufficiently large and equipped with an electricity connection. Since the place is in close proximity to the motorway, you can clearly see it during the day. The sanitary facilities are clean and completely adequate. Conclusion - completely sufficient as a starting point for exploring Berlin. A place where you spend the whole day - rather less.

Friendly staff, reasonable prices, and nearby public transportation. It would be nice if there was a bench in the shower room to sit on and put your shoes on after showering but that is a minor thing at best

Rude . Cash only. Was advertised at €14per night. the actual cost was €67 per night.

Nice camping with good spots, nice sanitary. The owner was very friendly and helpsom. To Berlin centrum it was a 50 minutes trip. 15 minutes walk to the bus,10 minutes with bus and a good 30 minutes with train. We also took the bikes to Potsdam one day, it ca. 9 km. We stayed 2 days with a motorhome.

Simple but clean! Were welcomed and said goodbye in a very nice and friendly manner. Sanitary facilities are simple but always neat and clean. I found the price level a bit “tight”: 2 adults, 2 dogs, caravan, electricity = 43.50/night. Location on the canal is quite nice. I couldn't see anything from the highway.

We were there three nights. The location is beautiful! Right on the canal with ships passing by and a large forest area next door. The dog also felt good. Only the cleanliness of the sanitary facilities leaves something to be desired. When we arrived there were smelly leftover food (maybe tomato sauce) in the trash can by the women's toilets and they were still there when we left. The toilets weren't cleaned and there was only cold water in the shower. There was no soap for the men and no cleaning of the toilets. It's a shame... we passed it on to an employee and would like this criticism to be accepted and implemented. We would love to come back!

No frills campground on a river side, small strip. Good atmosphere, clean amenities.

a lot of water on the ground due to rain falling very hard but we soon found a dry spot, next to the river, barges and boats, nice to watch. facilities were big and very clean so no problem there. staff not overly helpful, restaurant was only open 0700-1000 for breakfast only, 7.50 euros, just a bit expensive when mcdonalds ten mins away lol, little walk to the bus stop but easy to get into berlin and back. will visit again if we are that way in the future

Friendly, communicative and helpful staff. The showers and toillets are clean. Due to the recent heat and the fact, that the camping is next to the pine forest, you will be placing the tent or camper mostly on dried out grass or dust. The campground is narrow and long. Ans if you are residing the tent area by the end of the campground, you will make some kilometers while commuting to the dish washing or wc area. Better to have a bicycle. :) passing by cars through the campground raise a fair amount of dust. There are USB sockets in the wall of shower buildings. Unfortunately it is not safe to leave the devices alone to charge. My powerbank was stolen and according to the receptionist, it is a common problem.

We have been at the Hotel & City - Camping Berlin Süd with our caravan since Sunday. Great unparcelled parking space directly on the Teltow Canal. We went there without a reservation and were able to choose a parking space. The sanitary buildings, showers and toilets were cleaned every day at lunchtime. Washing machine and dryer are available in the tower (we didn't use it). You can wash your dishes at three sinks outside and two inside. Free WiFi, sometimes better, sometimes worse. It's about a 15-minute walk to the bus stop, from there you take the bus (line 620) to Wannsee train station and from there you take the S Bahn to the center of Berlin. With a 7-day ticket we were able to use all S/Bus/U-Bahn trains. We'll definitely come back.
