Well kept area for day visitors and campers. Great fishing, great bird watching and over all a great family picnic area

Located on the banks of the Klerksdorp dam. There are bass and Carp in the waters. The resort offers camping (R150 p/p) options as well as day visitors (50 p/d) only. There are braai stands, taps, a place to launch your boat and majority of the area is covered in grass with ample parking space. Ideal for a Saturday/Sunday afternoon or an overnight trip. Be sure to stock up on groceries and supplies as there is not tuck shop in the resort.

Seemed to be pretty sorted. Not chaotic like the town resort.

Honestly loved the dam in my own space but when I random person came to collect money for entrance was goggy more so than not. For that reason ama give it one star till they collect money professionally and make us feel comfy. He came to me holding a weapon looking like and his attitude was down right the most disrespectful 💯 and disgusting. I wish I could rate it -

Its a fishing camping place with beautiful green lawns. Clean toilets and showers. And the staff is very friendly

Although Pickles and Peppers is listed as a restaurant, it is actually just a spot next to the klerksdorp dam resort. Good for a day at the dam, skiing, boating and bracing. There are ablutions and a small pool - domestic small - for kids to play in. Currently, the dam is basically empty, so there's that then.

This is a nice place to go fish and relax

Will not be going again. Disappointing as rules are broken and management allowed it ignoring the peace and quiet allowing loud musi and taxis in with no respect

They wil see me again.
