Terrible service! We came for breakfast. I understand the shop is transitioning to self-service app to order food. However, certain orders do not have the option to customise so I tried calling the waiters to assist. The shop was not very busy and there were 3-4 waiters about. When we called for help, it was loud enough until the boy making the toast looked at us yet they continued to ignore us, pretending not to hear. I have always kept this place as last option for breakfast due to its customer service but looks like it’s best not to visit anymore. When they came to attend to us, it was so disappointing to face the cold and impatient attitude of the waiters. I couldn’t take it anymore and cancelled my order. The service ruined my appetite totally. Reply: thank you for your prompt investigation and response. I appreciate that but unable to reply to hence here. I hope that you take more notice on the customer service. I do not usually leave reviews unless it was really good or it was unbearably bad. It started off well with the Manager but your staff was hostile while attending after having to call them few times. When two of them finally did attend, which one of them you mentioned as the Manager, there was nothing gracious or hospitable with their attitude. Once again, thank you for your fast response.

Tried their special toast and the teh ice. The bread is nice, Also the kaya butter. The teh ice is nice, never expect good quality here. Can say is better than kluang railway station.

nasi lemak & sambal are delicious .. fried rice also delicious. half boiled egg was not very hot.. Roti Bakar (Toast) very slow. Kaya in this shop pale color and the texture was a bit lumpy .. please find new bread supplier / change your bread because the texture of bread is a bit dry when eating is not very satisfactory. if you still want to retain the same bread, the bread should come out same time with drink and half boiled eggs .. They send the toast to me after I finish eat my main course. please improve. overall ok.

Love their Ham and Cheese Sandwich. Generous and thick slices of Cheeses, well toasted breads. Kopi O that looks like Guinness Stout. Find their Coffee tasted better comparing with other Kluang coffee shop. Restaurant well maintained and clean. Easy Parking and Price reasonable. Cheerful staffs. Visited many times.

Roasted hailamese coffee is one of the best authentically brewed, thumbs up. Shredded chicken hor fun tastes comparable to Ipoh's, but broth is just slightly over-seasoned, still a good dish worth to try. Hailamese chicken chop topped with sweet tomato sauce and peas, the combo was surprisingly synergistic, worth trying too. But the potato wedges were slightly too hard. Overall, its worthy.

It tastes good and has a nice environment.

Coffee tasted terrible, the bread isn't even toasted properly for a toast bread. The one I was served with can be bent 180° w/o even snapping. This just shows the amount of effort put into their food and drinks. The only thing edible are their chicken chops and perhaps the fried rice. The rest I'll have to pass on it.

The hainan chicken rice is worth to the price. Only three pieces of chickens provided !!! The taste for overall dishes is normal.

The ambience, the mural and the food. 1 malaysia eating here at this underrated kopitiam. Love the chicken chop, nasi lemak (sambal to die for) & butter kaya croissant. Have these 3 for brunch & you'll be smiling til dinner. Best kopitiam in Kluang.

Good spread of offering, decent price for a meal. Decently priced food and the place is quite packed during Saturday lunch. Cars double parked outside the shop, patrons courteously move their cars when honked.

The service was great, we wanted less sugar on one cup of coffee, but we forgot to state it in the form. The waitress changed it without any issues.

The coffee is thick.. Kids enjoy eating the toast a lot.. A good place for hi-tea if you go for local food.

Came here on Monday to have breakfast. Teh C with less sugar is good! Laksa is not bad, coconut milk is thick but my ah lao got diarrhoea 1 hr later. Quite bad n I hv to take over the drive back to Singapore. 🙁. The dry mee siam, can give a skip. Roti is average. After this experience, better don’t take laksa.

Last time datang, food was perfect. Service pun ok, not too bad. I came all the way from KL to Jb, singgah Kluang just to makan at Hailam Toast been craving for the food. Unfortunately ur staff here so bad. I ordered signature Hainan Chicken chop, lol sangat masin. Complaint with one of your staff, her respond was “masin?” then thats it without any apology. Lol the girl buat croissant also tak senyum langsung, aiyaa not a good surrounding tbh. Time bergurau dengan kawan2 sekerja boleh pula senyum gelak2. Dengan customer, hampeh. I have been hailam toast fan for quite a long time, but not anymore. U should train your staff, at least when customer complaint something, an apology banyak sgt membantu.
