I don't know if I have to laugh or cry but my stay at the WET! Party hostel was an unique and crazy experience... At first mostly all 'basic' facilities are broken or not present. There are no locks on the dorm doors, 1 bathroom for 16 people, and even the water for the toilets and showers was interrupted for a few hours. The owner mainly focuses on the party part where a Thai techno DJ pumps music from the 40 speakers for about 20 hours a day. Even if there is no one around the bar or pool (in the middle of the night), the music continues to pump at 140 decibels. I thought it was a hilarious, surreal experience but never again XD

Tried this hostel for the night before NYE, then Bodega in Ban Tai for NYE to see which had better pre-drinks, and ended up sticking with WET! for the rest of my stay including Jan FMP. The location is in Haad Rin, where it's much more convenient to stay to be close to the party and action, so I could just walk there in about 9 mins (as opposed to a 20 minute taxi ride) from my party beachside guesthouse, and the vibe was ultimately better than Bodega because the music wasn't absolutely deafening: the DJ only faced the pool so you could gather behind at pool tables, beer pong, bar etc and actually talk and meet people (Bodega was so ridiculous: it's just unnecessary having the DJ blasting music that loud in all directions so you can't talk to anyone - not at all what the point of pre-drinks in Haad Rin is when we're going to spend ALL night dancing to DJs at whatever party is on). Also the reps at this hostel were good, they organised everyone to go together to whatever was the main party, there was a good WhatsApp group chat and it was open all night if people really wanted to kick on when the FMP ended inexplicably early at 5am. Also as you can tell I didn't even stay there, so anyone can just rock up and enjoy the vibe! I'm pretty sure it's the best party hostel that's actually near the full moon party beach.

Typical hostel owned by an arrogant old Caucasian man, that’s happy to scam tourists and use his staff as bait to cover his own lies. On the night of the full moon party, it was advised by the bar staff, who were polite and spoke English PERFECTLY, That the hostel was giving out free wristbands at 10pm. However after drinking the hostels drinks for two hours, at 10pm upon asking the bar staff about the wristbands they point to the man sitting at the bar and said you have to talk to our boss. The “boss” then told us that his staff didn’t know anything, that they didn’t speak English and were just refugees. He then attempted to push our guilt conscience on needing to pay for the wristbands. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS COMPANY. For full moon or otherwise.

In my opinion, it is the best hostel on the island. smiling and caring staff. The cleanest Hostel I've ever stayed in. There is even a special shampoo in the bathroom for you in rooms for 8 people. After swimming in the pool and sipping your drink at the bar, you can spend time playing various games. You can even win free shots by participating in fun bar parties and pool games in the evenings.

This place met my expectations. Great party vibe hostel. Perfect for predicting before the full moon. Friendly staff. Would stay again if I did the full moon again.

One of the best places to stay if you come for full moon party, just 5 min walk to the beach and cheap restaurants, also pool parties are fun and vibes at the hostel really good to socialize.

Location is kinda near to the full moon party and it’s a party hostel so nice vibes.. The dorms were not clean and it feels like you’re stuffed in a small room. There was no hot water in my dorm room even after telling the staff multiple times. Overall it’s good for one night stay if you’re coming for full moon party that’s it.

Decent place, ok parties. The pool was pretty murky, so swim at your own risk. Mosquitoes abound, so get some spray. Alot of sugary type drinks.

This place is a little dated, as stated by other reviews. I think I was quite surprised when I arrived. But don't let this put you off staying here, it was such an amazing place to stay during the full moon party. All staff were friendly and polite at all times.

A truly impressive place! It is the ultimate party dream with all kinds of cool ideas, a huge bar, a nice pool and of course lots of awesome parties. The owner has the biggest heart and will do whatsever it takes to help you. If you're looking for a place to party and perhaps sleep a bit, you won't find anything better.

Great place to stay in Koh Phangan. Even better is you're on the island for the full moon party. The place is always popping. Amazing drinks, perfect as a pre gaming staff. The staff is amazing, really helpful and gives you free neon body paint so get creative. Cheers 🍻

I went there for the Full Moon Party and it was the perfect hostel! There's a pre-party everyday before the big ones and the staff was very informative. It is perfectly located - 2mn walk to the 7-11 and 5mn walk to the beach. There's a lot going around.

Arrived on the overnight ferry at 530am. Room information was provided a day before so i did not have to wait or wake anyone up. Smooth and easy check in. Great music and party vibes and heavily discounted tickets compared to other places on island

Good for the Full Moon Party. Don’t really bother staying longer since it’s dirty, loud and the toilet stinks so that you can smell it in your room.

Great atmosphere, Ian was a fantastic promoter and brought everyone together and the manager/owner is a friendly and good guy. Because there were so many people from around the world you make tons of friends and lasting memories for the full moon party.They have a large pool area for chilling and you can play your own music. However, they do charge more then other places and with a 4 night minimum stay, for this money maintenance and cleanliness needs improvement. AC is not cleaned and made me sick for over a week after leaving with bronchitis, showers downstairs are not the best so everone waits for the 1 upstairs, beds and seating areas could use a refresh and some rooms had roaches. One suggestion would be to have more paint available for people to use for the party as everyone expects this to be provided by the hotel/hostel so I didnt buy any, I wouldn't have minded if there was a small cost associated either to supplement this expense.

It's a party hostel so you get what you get with that. Pool water is piss warm but the vibes are good. Rooms are small and everyone has to share the outlet in the room. Don't plan to take a night off because the music doesn't stop other than for a few hours in the morning so sleeping isn't the easiest if you aren't blackout. All in all I wanted a party hostel and it was a good time. The place made it very easy to meet alot of people and I don't regret staying here!
