In the most beautiful untouched beaches and amongst the nature of the island this place truly relaxes you. The service was amazing in sorting transport, any needs and the restaurant has the most amazing fresh Thai food. They also offer free equipment for snorkelling and kayaking to explore the amazing coral reefs right outside your doorstep. The room is decorated beautifully and is equipped very well. The openness of the place gives a very tranquil vibe making our stay here the highlight of our holiday.

Between the nearby snorkeling and hiking, massages and hospitality, heaven has never felt closer. Surrounded by nature, Coconut Beach Bungalows are a magical destination for any traveler. My partner and I were wow’d throughout the stay. Couple massages - multiple masseuse, the delicious cuisine and most importantly — everyone was so cool and down-to-earth. Tyler is the best host and we can’t wait to come back to this cozy cove. Bring some books and kick back!

We loved staying here! We had nice conversations with Tyler and he even showed us the best places in the area. The stylish bungalows are located on the most beautiful beach on Koh Phangan, where you can swim, snorkel and hike beautifully. The food was also incredible, especially the green curry and banana pancakes. Thank you!

Unfortunately is the owner not nice... The bungalows are directly in the nature and the are open. In the evening you spend your time only under the mosquito-net. The rats running over the floor joist. Our sleep was very bad. Talking with the owner was also a bad experience. Unfriendly and With no empathy. The beach is nice there, but quite a lot of stones in the water.

Stay away !! The owners ( Thai lady & American husband owner ) are complete unprofessional people. I was treated very rude while staying at their place, they overcharged me 2000 baht for a late check out. ( I only stayed 15min longer). We were asking them very kindly to not overcharge us. We were smiling but they said to us „we don’t care, you pay for the late check out, it’s your problem“ I was very frightened staying there. I saw how they chained some people‘s bikes inside their property and locked them inside the gate. Making their kids make videos of it. Also I saw how they make their kids work on their property ( how crazy is that?) The situation inside the bungalows is completely different than on the photos. Smelly odor, garbage everywhere around the property. The owner (American husband of the Thai lady) seems very unhappy and never smiles even when we smile at him.... Where is your hospitality excuse me?? How do you treat your guests? It’s an island life so what are you doing here?? Never coming back !!!

My stay here was excellent. The remarkable service from the staff and prestige location made me feel comfortable and at ease. I not to mention the wonderful food especially the salad. I am looking forward to my next trip here and I would highly recommend it to anyone.

We had one week booked in a bungalow that we did not realize had so little privacy. In the end decided to leave one day earlier. The bungalows are one step from each other and with open walls. Monkeys come and go making a mess. I didn't quite get the concept of the lodging. Top 3 funkiest places I've stayed at during my 13 years of traveling the world. 😅 Owner definetly a big character although friendly.

Tyler and his family made us totally at home in their secluded corner of paradise. We spent a very relaxing week here and hardly felt like venturing out - except for a walk to the top of the island to take in the fabulous views. Beautiful beach, very safe for swimming, and terrific home-cooked Thai food. We’ll be back.

This is the most magical place on Koh Phangan. Its one of a kind experience. We went with our small children (1 and 5) and everything was better than we expected. Tyler and Wi are just perfect hosts, very professional and relaxed, making you feel so confortable. The beach house was dreamy and I still can´t get over how beautiful it all was. We just relaxed, enjoyed our company, disconnected and listened to the waves all day long. This is not a resort, so if your thinking of staying you will have to be acceptance of nature and everything it has to give. We would definitely go back in a blink of an eye.

Spent a fantastic month here in the jungle at coconut bungalows. Many thanks to Wii, Tyler and family for having us. We enjoyed the resort and all it has to offer, the perfect spot in Koh Phangan. It’s a hidden gem for sure! Would have loved to have tried the beach house or the jungle house too but Tyler mentioned that the garden bungalows may get terrace extensions in the future, and I can’t even imagine how perfect they would be then! We hope to return some day to enjoy them and the lovely musli and rice soup breakfasts! Perhaps next time we will even be able to spot a Slow Loris ! Take care guys and keep up the fantastic work! Ps. It’s not 100% clear on the photos on the website that the bungalows are not super private. (Particularly the “B” series) Although the team go to lengths to explain that everything is open plan in the description, it’s good to know that there is no actual door to the bathroom, and that sitting area connects directly to the bedrooms which face a semi public road. When the wind blows, the curtains reveal the entire bungalow and often it’s easy to view the occupants from the road while they are sleeping or inside. If you are someone who is not comfortable with this lack of privacy, (we were totally fine, a family who were used to sharing a bathroom) then the bungalows may not be for you and you might want to choose the house options. Despite this, each hut is beautiful and you have everything you need and more!

I would 100% recommend Coconut Beach Bungalows. The secret beach is a great place to escape to, and the hosts are so friendly and helpful. Incredible, authentic experience with the property being situated right on the beach in an area of stunning views. Off-grid is a bonus!

One of the most beautiful beaches I've visited: rainforest meets palm trees meets sandy beaches. The location is a bit out of the way, with some gnarly humps and corners to take when arriving. We were picked up and dropped off by the host, and did the rest of the sight seeing by taxi boat. Rooms are very very open, so expect bugs and critters within the walls. Something to get accustomed to! Food at the restaurant is just great with very reasonable prices.

Probably the best most sustainable very efficiently run home B&B business. The host is the most warm friendly intellectual person and makes us feel at home. Highly recommend if you want a unique experience! The property is well run and well managed you will not complain!

Beautiful and stylish rooms with NO WINDOWS, which created a shared accommodation for us and some animals. The grounds are maintained daily and are therefore beautiful. The coconut beach, which belongs to the resort, was the most beautiful beach on Koh Phangan for us. Unfortunately, we left the accommodation 2 days earlier than planned as it was too damp in the room due to the rainy season. This meant that our clothes were no longer dry and the bed was damp. However, your clothes can be washed on site and the bedding can also be changed. The accommodation offers a unique experience to stay in nature in style. However, this comes at a price and we would book fewer nights next time, as breakfast + water is not included. We would like to thank the local Thai family for their exceptional efforts!

Coconut Beach on Koh Phangan is a tropical haven. White sands, crystal-clear waters, and swaying palm trees create a serene escape.

Tyler and Wii are perfect Hosts! I‘d like to keep this place secret but, I have to tell you how great this place is. It is so quite and secluded, you instantly feel removed from the loud, hectic, crowded world which you have left behind. Peace, quite, nature - deceleration! The self suppliant concept is formidable. Solar energy, own water reserves, homegrown organic food: it works! No bussing refrigeration, no loud AC. Listen to the waves crashing on the beach as you lye in bed at night. Listen to the sounds of the jungle, not the „Getto Blaster“. Relax, enjoy and become one with yourself and nature again. 🏝️⛱️🤿🤫

In one word: Amazing! Highly recommend if you are looking for a quiet, laid back place to stay in Koh Phangan. Tyler, Wii and all the staff are super attentive, fun and provided us a wonderful week on the island! If you can live without the luxury of big resorts, here you will be compensated with being immersed in beautiful nature, while being graced by Thai hospitality! We will return here whenever back in Thailand certainly.

This place was exactly what I wanted, but you need to make sure it's setup is what you want. I liked that there was no a/c and open windows, but it's not for everyone. Apparently it's fully booked at a high rate for the entire 2023 tourist season, so maybe I'm not in the minority. The location is somewhat isolated, but that wasn't a bad thing for me. Taxis will pick you up for activities. Other guests that ventured out told me this ended up being the best spot of everything they saw. Like me, you may eventually want to venture out for a different food menu, but it's not difficult.
