I've
always
wanted
to
take
salsa
lessons
but
never
found
the
time
to
do
it.
I
was
at
Casa
Tropicale
in
Koh
Phangan
&
they
were
giving
some
free
bachata
lessons.
I
tried
to
inquire
with
the
teacher
but
he
was
cold
&
unreceptive.
Well,
too
bad
buddy....you
just
lost
a
potential
student/customer.
I
then
googled
for
a
school
&
found
out
about
Yansa
Studio.
I
WhatsApp
them
&
always
got
a
prompt
courteous
reply;
the
kind
of
customer
service
I'm
used
to
back
home.
I
immediately
knew
that
was
the
school
for
me.
I
took
some
private
salsa
lessons
with
Valerie.
She's
the
best!
She's
very
patient,
always
smiling,
making
you
feel
at
ease...which
is
important
because
it
makes
you
feel
more
relaxed.
The
rythm
is
quite
fast
for
any
beginner
but
she'll
slow
it
down
&
adapt
to
your
own
speed.
She's
a
very
good
teacher.
You
may
want
to
join
a
beginner's
class
but
unless
its
a
true
beginner's
class,
there
will
be
some
students
with
a
lil
bit
of
experience.
That's
why
i
highly
recommend
for
you
to
take
some
private
lessons
as
it'll
give
you
a
foundation
&
more
importantly
some
confidence
when
you
join
a
class.
I
highly
recommend
Valerie,
you
will
not
regret
it.
The
other
detail
i
want
to
mention
as
I
was
worried
about
having
a
Thai
teacher
who
barely
speaks
english
is
that
Valerie
is
Dutch
&
speaks
fluently
english.
Other
than
the
visual,
good
communication
is
important
in
trying
to
learn
something
new.
They
offer
a
5
hr
class
package.
This
is
the
minimum
you
should
go
for
to
get
a
decent
grasp
of
salsa.
