I went for the sunset, I wasn't a guest of the report. For that I had to pay entry fee 600 baht per person (which I don't know why anyone discusses in the review section). Such a disappointment. You can redeem the 600 baht by buying food and drinks, but when the drinks and food are extremely expensive and avg taste, it's not worth it at all. After you go to the top, you can't just leave when you hear about this 600 baht entry. View wise super nice place, you can see from the picture. Food is avg and overpriced. I won't say the service is good because at the sunset time, the stuff were busy cleaning the glasses, which disturbed the view. The same kind of view - you can get from Amsterdam bar or 360 bar (which later changed the name to 420 bar). I won't go there again.

Bad service and some staffs are rude. we booked 3 sea view rooms and one of our room didn't get sea view because of the reason of not enough room. and we didn't get any apology or refund. some staffs are not helpful. we saw about the reviews of good review and chose to stay there but sea view is blocked with rocks and tress so not really sea view from the room . I guess only restaurant area has nice view. and it located on the high mountain so if you are not good at driving not really recommend to stay there. my stay there was not worth at all.

When you enter to the restaurant you expect from the waiter: "What can I serve?; Can I show you the menu?". Here you will hear: "Give me 600 baht for entry". You even don't know what you can eat there, you don't know the prices. Just pay the cash for entry. You are treated in advance like a cheater who just want to take a picture with the pool. People please don't support places like that. There are many similar places on the island with nice view and the swimming pool. Thai people are very nice and friendly. Especially do not support this place!!!

The two staffs at reception communicated with very bad manners. 1. Said the drinks there are expensive. I don’t know what’s his intention. (Is it how to treat to guests in a good way?) 2. Never help us to bring our stuffs during two days we stayed there. When we asked help to bring it, the staff said “Watch out the charges you paid for our hotel. This is not 5 star hotel”. It means they just serve as per the amount of money we rent? We just paid as it showed on booking.com. No extra, no less. So disappointed with that stuff’s service. Places is not bad. But they make me not to imagine to stay there on next trip.

I heard some bad reviews about the staffs from my friends and there were problem between them. But this was not my problem and I've never been there before. But I think one of the staffs sent me messages which is kind of threating to me. What kind of staffs did this hotel recruit? Did you even train them well?

there two roads up this hill. You need the one with a trash container. It's more safe but the hill is very sharp. If you don't know how to ride it - don't. People crash there often. Park near the trash, sweat and walk up 10min. At Friday has many people at party until 21:00. Food is ok. Rooms are very nice. right side from restaurant has many roosters which start to scream at 3am. Water is a pool feels sticky.

The place is really very very very beautiful! And the value for the price is amazing in that part. On the other hand, the food menu there is very limited and there is no choice. Also what they don't tell or advertise is that the hotel is in the middle of nowhere, at least a 20 minute walk on the side of the road to a central area. The hotel is on a mountain and has a very, very steep road, going up it on foot is terriblly hard and if you want to come with a taxi the drivers ask for extra money to go up the hill. The road is so steep that my friend crashed her motorcycle because the motorcycle could not handle the hill. Most rental companies also do not agree to rent a motorcycle once they hear you are staying at this hotel because of the steep climb. This hotel is only good if you plan to stay in it and not leave it because it is inaccessible and quite a nightmare to go from and back.

Mixed feelings about this place. I was expecting a better experience for the price. Positives: the view from the pool is stunning, and the staff is friendly and accommodating. The rooms are comfortable. Negatives: The road up to the resort is quite dark and dangerous. Breakfast does not include coffee refills despite the 300 bhat price. Check out was at 11am, earlier than I expected. The night we stayed there was a power outage for the majority of the evening so we were unable to enjoy the amenities. We were given a lamp but there was no generator. Not sure if that’s common for resorts in the area or not. Perhaps much of my disappointment is stemming from an unlucky night, but that’s my honest review.

We came for sunset drinks and we were absolutley blown away! The vibe of this place is absolutely amazing with the most stunning views of the ocean and sunset and surrounding islands. The decor, ambience, music and service were perfect. The staff are beautiful and take great care of the beautiful dogs here with food and water bowls and are one of the few venues who let the dogs roam freely among the guests. Be careful driving up the steep cliff . We will definitely be back!

We spent three nights here with my boyfriend and I wouldn’t say it’s worth it. Way overpriced for what it is, we didn’t have hot water in the shower and the bathroom could totally use some renovation (you basically shower on the floor next to the sink and the toilet bowl). On the other hand the terrace bar with infinity pool is beautiful and while I don’t recommend staying in the bungalows I 100% recommend going to the pool bar for sunset, there’s a minimum spend of 600 bath for non guests and you can enjoy the best sunset view we found on the island. Reserve in advance for sunset cause it’s very busy!

To flee!!! disappointing stay. stupid in the room, in this bungalow we live with animals, insects, bad soundproofing, shower without water pressure, small bed for couple. we slept badly the bed was hard. Watch out for ants because they are everywhere in the toilets, the bed, the desk, there are holes in the wall so they had bamboo installed to hide the flaws. but bungalow too old no 24 hour reception . and especially badly located very far from the center only positive point the swimming pool.

Amazing place to watch sunset with high end food and drinks. However the 600 bath voucher policy is annoying. I would spend 600 bath per person anyway but don’t want to be forced to do so. Please change that

Great food and beautiful panoramic pool. The food a little expensive but worth the cost because of the pool. Recommend for short-term visit.

If you like moldy jungle huts, insects, dangerous walkways and tiny bathrooms without a real shower, then Bluerama might be for you. Only highlight was the Bar/Sundeck/pool with a gorgeous view and prices quite above average.

The biggest pro and the biggest con is the location! Amazing breathtaking view. But you basically feel like raponsel stuck in the castle because the height is so steep it’s really hard going up or down the hill by foot, you always have to go by taxi everywhere I would just come to enjoy a nice sunset at the pool with a drink or meal and take a taxi there and back rather than stay because for people who want to go out a lot and stroll it makes things difficult

Beautiful views throughout, the staff are very professional and helpful. The bathrooms could be renovated (they don’t show them in photos for that reason)

I would recommend it for a fancy dinner with a beautiful view! As a city girl I’d rather have stayed more close to the beach or the city town. You’ll need a motorbike to get there as the place is very uphill.

Breath-taking view, beautiful swimming pool. Bad and overpriced food, unprofessional cocktails, costs 600 baht as a voucher to enter (you can sped this 600 voucher on food and drinks). Highly recommend to meet the sunset here.

First the view is really nice. So just com fore the view at sunset. The Princeton the food and drink is really expensive. And the food is good. But not good for that price. Second- If you coming now (9 Dec 2023) be aware that it is construction work just outside your bungalow in the day so you can’t rest or sit outside. Third. My water in the shower and sink stop working at 16:00 I told the staff at 16:45 and after I visit the sunset and the pool the water still not work. I told the staff again and they reacted that they never heard about it before. Didn’t get any water until in the morning. And yes the water later that evening went out fore everyone but not from 16:00 like fore me. That happen long later. For the fourth They treat guest different. My neighbor complained about the noise and they get 600 THB back. I complain about the water and the noise didn’t get nothing. When I check out they ask how my stay was I say it was really bad because of the noise and no water. They just smile and give thumb 👍 like it was normal. Or don’t they under stand English just when my complain Because they speak English the day before. 🤷‍♂️ Don’t stay there. Just go for the sunset. Non guest pay 600 THB, but they can use the money to by food/ drinks so 600THB = 3 small Leo beer 😂 ya it’s expensive. Whant to give 2,5 star but can’t so they will do white 3 star. Because how the staff treat you… Hop this helps. The room was clean, the shower (when I got water this morning) was bad pressure. Ac working good. The view from bungalow 5 was good but they need to get rid of the trash in front of the bungalow.

We did a great dill with the place that you pay 600 and enter the pool and can eat in the place. You can eat up to 600 b more then that and you need to add. They didn't tell us we need to add money do we drink and eat a lot and then had to pay in the end a 2000 b. Place : the place is beautiful with a really impressive view! The pool is wonderful. Service : was ok because what happened to us, other then that the workers were very nice.

Review about restaurant: Don't waste your time and money at this place. Luckily, there are plenty of other establishments on Koh Phangan with beautiful sunset views. We had pre-booked a table for dinner to celebrate a birthday and requested the best table. When we arrived at the appointed time, our reservation had been crossed out in the ledger, as if we had already been there. And indeed, the only table marked "Reserved 18:00" was already taken. Upon entering, they ask you to purchase a voucher for 600 baht per person. The food is, to put it mildly, mediocre and in some places not tasty at all. The vegan burger according to the Bluerama chef: a sesame bun, a slice of tomato, a lettuce leaf, and a bean patty. The sweet potato fries come with 4 sauces that are absolutely inedible. You won't find any beautiful presentation or exquisite taste in this establishment, although the prices would lead you to expect at least something. In an establishment where a 330 ml glass of carrot juice costs 250 baht, they could have provided at least a bar of soap in the bathroom.

Super location to watch the sunset and also to have a very nice stay. Super delicious breakfast and overall kitchen. Clean and modern Ambiente. Best infinity pool sunset location and the island and around... Absolut empfehlenswert!

This place has a beautiful sunset! It’s 600 baht to get in if you aren’t a guest BUT you can redeem on food/drinks so it’s perfect. The only thing was the hill is quite steep and I rode my scooter up so I paid one of the workers to drive it down for me (he did,the legend)

  • 4/5 Mia E. 6 months ago on Google
Didn’t stay at the hotel, only went to the restaurant to enjoy the sunset view. You have to pay 600 bag entry as a non hotel resident but you get to spend it on food and drinks. It’s definitely much more expensive than other places but the view is worth it. I have never seen something so beautiful before.

The view is awesome and the best part about this place. The food was also great. A little pricey in comparison to the area but really worth going there.

Great view from the swimming pool during sunset. The staff are really nice and professional. Everything else is just bad. We stayed in villa 7 which is at the end of its lifecycle. The whole cottage shakes when you walk. The toilet is a wet bathroom. They don't even give slippers. They say no underage or pets allowed in the property. I have seen both in the restaurant.

I would avoid staying here! Cockroaches and insects in the room ants everywhere, lizards inside and all over the outside. Doors aren't flush so anything and everything can get in (and it does) slept with the lights on to avoid any more unwanted guests .. hotel is at least a 20 minute walk from anything. The hill you have to walk up or drive up is insane and totally not worth it. The only decent thing is the view at sunset and the pictures... If your not a guest there is a 600 bhat per person minimum to enter. We co-ordinated to pre book a taxi to pick us up at 430am and even though we were reassured over 8 times we still ended up having to run to catch our ferry. Couldn't find anyone at that time and no one was answering there phones. We actually left the keys outside the downstairs office because we couldn't find anyone. Definitely won't be back there!!

It's OK, Not the best accommodation. Nice staff though and the food was good. Very middle of the road place. The pool could definitely use some work and a clean hourly because of dead fall from trees and bugs.

unfortunately this accommodation was a washout in the price performance ratio. the Appartmant was old and not very well maintained. the boiler hung with open cables in the shower. the staff was nice, but the management very difficult. the time window for breakfast is only 30 minutes from 08:30. postponement not possible. so if you want to drive tours or sleep in, you have no breakfast. Drinks cost four times as much as usual. the complex looks like a construction site and there is dirt everywhere. the driveway is so steep that no cab goes up there. you walk 7 minutes steeply uphill without light. no service to help you. very sad, there we lived four less than half nicer.

My friend really wanted to watch the sunset over here. To drive up the hill is a bit tricky especially if you are not that experienced with driving a scooter. The view is really insane. But, what we didn't know, you have to pay 600 baht per Person to stay here. For that you can get drinks and food (which are very expensive too). The quality and the service is great. In the end a good spot to watch the sunset ones.

Beautiful view, nice music and that's where all the pluses of this place end. Entrance 600 baht, against future expenses. Not teasty half glass of Aperol cost 300 baht. Long Island is the same nonsense. I recommend checking the receipt, they write too much. And last time a friend's shoes were stolen here. I do not recommend visiting. The place has deteriorated badly.

I don't know about the hotel, I was in the bar only. It's nice view and that's it. The pool looks old and not clear. Overpriced and not tasty. Kids cannot swim in the pool. Resort for adults only. It's really difficult to get to this place, very steep slope.

  • 2/5 Nathan A. 1 year ago on Google
The only good thing about this place is the view from the pool deck. The pool itself was cold. The food was good, slightly overpriced. Our Seaview villa was very shabby, the aircon is on its last legs and the bathroom floods when you have a shower. We were booked to stay for 3 nights, but checked out after the first night with very sore backs and not much sleep. I was very disappointed we were told there we no refunds. The driveway is long and steep and be prepared to pay extra for a taxi to get dropped at reception. I would not feel comfortable riding a scooter up or down the driveway.
