I love this place and love the staff. The location is perfect...walking distance to Fisherman's but just off the main road so it is quieter. Ample parking for cars and bikes. The most comfortable beds you won't want to get out of. Big clean bathrooms with separate shower space. Solid WiFi. New AC. Beautifully decorated; you can see the pride they have in their property. It is a guesthouse with shared common areas (kitchen, seating, pool) so it is not suitable for people looking to party but everyone was nice and friendly. Nothing bad to say!! There are two buildings; both comfortable and have access to all amenities. The newer building is a little nicer but you pay more (my pictures are from the new building). Book it, you will not regret it.

Great location 5 min from the beach. Clean rooms, great hot water and good pressure in the showers. Lovely swimming pool. We ended up extending our stay we liked it so much. Rooms seemed basically brand new with a comfy bed, small couch and a tv.

This place is like a second home for me and Queen and Boat who run it - like a second family. I have stayed 3 times in a year in Baan Yaimai and will always come back - you have great rooms, amazing common spaces with 2 well equipped kitchens, the swimming pool to die for and you are only 150m away from the Fishermans Village and the beach. I am bringing all my friends here whenever I can❤️

Stayed 4 nights in the ‘new building’ in a room on the first floor. The bed was the most comfy thing ever and the whole place felt so luxurious - the pool and sun bed area was so relaxing and everything was exceptionally clean. It’s a nice location as a short walk to the bars/restaurants so a good balance of being in the mix but not suffering with any noise. Would highly recommend staying at this lovely boutique guest house.

A lovely place all very modern and clean. The pool area is beautiful and the staff are all friendly. It’s a short walk away from fisherman’s village about 5 minutes max. They provide eggs, bread, and fruit for breakfast!

We only stayed one night in a transit through Samui. It was a lovely surprise! We felt we were in someone’s welcoming lovely home (it is owned by a lovely Thai family and it was their private family home once upon a time) . We arrived a little early from our transit and they let us check in. The main building where we stayed was like a guest room in a large modern family home. it seemed the only guest room on the ground floor so it was really quiet. It had a large open plan shared kitchen with an American sized fridge. The infinity pool was very clean, warm and well maintained. The bed and room was super comfortable with plenty of storage and a large modern shower with hot water. The room was beautifully maintained. Wi-Fi worked. The AC was very quiet so We slept really well. The location is very near the fisherman’s village and the beach (literally an easy 10 minute walk). Lots of amenities in walking distance like 7-11, ATM, restaurants. The hosts also helped us book our very early 4:45 am taxi to Samui airport (only 20 min away by taxi) which went smoothly. would stay again when in Samui.

While the hotel doesn't have an attached restaurant, the abundance of food options in the vicinity negates any sense of absence. A noteworthy feature is the pool, where the water, I discovered, is not chlorinated but treated with a natural alternative, maintaining exceptional cleanliness throughout my stay. Baan YaiMai Hotel stands out for its tranquil setting, thoughtful amenities, and the overall sense of spaciousness, making it a distinctive choice for those seeking a relaxed and serene getaway.

Beautiful place to stay. Love the shared kitchen which supply breakfast food. Staff are so nice. It felt like living in a big house. Highly recommend.
