I have been a visitor of Chewang Garden Resort for over 10 years, and it never disappoints. Service on arrival and throughout the stay is exceptional, with very fair rates for rooms. You will find an amazing pool that runs through the hotel, which is always very warm. 10/10 location being right on the beach and close to everything you need in Koh Samui.

We had a “standard” room which was huge and spotlessly clean. My air con worked well which was a blessing for me. Cleaner would come in every day if you needed them to. Bathroom lovely. I thought the breakfast was great - I don’t understand the comment re vegetarian choice, there was always salad, fruit, bread, eggs (however you wanted them), potatoes. For us meat lovers lots of bacon! Coffee delicious as was everything else I ate here (usually bought lunch too though admittedly on the expensive side). All the staff were amazing and could do enough for you. Shout out to Zaw and Chaw especially who seemed to know what we wanted sometimes before we did! The whole place is stunning, right on the beach but with 2 pools also. Well worth the money. I only gave 4 stars for location due to the bloody Ark bar which has opened recently next door and blares terrible music all day and into the night. Fortunately our room was quite far from the beach and therefore that noise did not effect our sleep.

Highly recommended. Great resort. Staff was super friendly and breakfast was great. I loved the massage by the beach that they offered and loved the nail spa. I'll be back!

Hotel grounds are nice, staff is good but rooms are somewhere between subpar and ok. At least the 2 rooms I've seen which are basic ootions. Good location in the middle of Chaweng except next door plays music until 3am. It wasn't terribly loud but could be problematic for sensitive sleepers. I wasn't given room i booked because they overbooked room i wanted. Breakfast buffet is below average and their restaurant is quite expensive for hotel quality. Good quality massages are available on site for good price. Overall ok stay in good area for nightlife and restaurants, but i will look for a nicer option next trip.

We didn't stay at the resort but we went to the beach side restaurant attached for dinner. If you like seafood, the restaurant is incredible. You pick your seafood (we had tiger prawns) choose how you want it cooked (deep fried garlic pepper sauce) and it was the best tiger prawns we've ever had. Delicious. Staff very friendly too!

Very green & natural atmosphere. A first-class service with super friendly, polite & helpful staffs. Comfortable (superior) room with a large balcony.

Fantastic location. Beach service is second to none. Loungers on the beach, near the beach or next to pool. Restaurant has fresh fish per kg cooked to your liking every evening. Swim up bar. Room Service was at 3pm every day as promised.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! It’s everything you expect of a hotel on an island. Once you past the front entrance the hotel evolves into an oasis conveniently, situated off the main street, backs up to the main beach and is a short trip to airport and of course surrounded by nature, you forget how central you are.

We stayed for 5 nights with Shino room. My husband and I loved this resort for our honeymoon. We loved all the staff and service. Breakfast is great. It made enjoying the food side of my trip such a pleasure!!! Highly recommend!

The pool and service were awesome ! The swim up bar was 10/10 and the food and drinks were aswell . Great location right on the beach it’s busy in town and close enough to walk anywhere and as soon as you enter the premises you don’t even realize town is there , it’s quiet and peaceful. Rooms are typical bungalow style so a bit outdated but clean

Great resort, very good service, good beach vibes. I was there for 3 nights with my husband and 2 year old daughter. Then we went to a different hotel, and came back for another week. We took the basic room, it was comfortable but I wasn't happy with the cleaning level. The massage by the pool is wonderful and one of the best I got.

Fantastic Resort. Beautiful garden setting. Friendly Management and Staff. Excellent service. Fabulous breakfast and seafood dinners on the beach. Mr Min, Mr Hanlay and Mr Band were very helpful and always friendly.

This is my first night staying here. Wanted to treat myself nice staying at Grand Bungalow. The music from the club/bar nearby is playing all day long from the time i checked in and still going strong now (23:53). Seriously not sure how I can survive the nights. The hotel needs to improve the sound insulation. If you would like to enjoy a piece of quiet in a lovely resort in Koh Samui, do not pick here!

This hotel is amazing, very private and set back from the busy streets of Chewang. We stayed in a bungalow right in the middle of the resort, it was like living in the middle of a rainforest. The breakfast area has great views of the beach and pool, and also a great selection of food and juices. The resort is very clean and well maintained. The staff are friendly and happy to help with any of your requests. The only problem I had was the blaring music from the Ark Bar next door which goes until midnight.

Beautiful setting right on the beach. Excellent price. Loved the room and the beach access. You can’t improve much on the setting, the visuals or the location. The service on the other hand really needs improvement. The menu and the food at the restaurant are mediocre at best. You don’t get service in the lounge chairs on the beach. You have to walk up to the bar if you want something. I asked them to pick up my laundry and they said I had to bring it to the front desk because it was a third party laundry service. So I brought it there where a hotel employee weighed it and gave me a receipt. Then they told me that they could not bring it back to my room. I had to come back and get it at the front desk when it was ready. That is very odd. When I did pick it up, it was not folded. Just a crumpled pile of clothes in a bag for 1000 bhat. Don’t let them do your clothes. They only provided two bath towels in the room. No hand towels or wash cloths unless you ask. They will bring towels to the room if you ask for them. The air conditioner was underpowered for the room. During the daytime it was cooler in the very nice lounge chairs outside of the room than inside. At night it was cool enough. This was made worse by the fact that they use old fashioned keys for the room and you only get one. That one is fitted into a slot that turns on power to the room. If you take your key and lock your door, it turns off your AC. The underpowered AC takes quite a while to cool the room down. The hotel is simply gorgeous and in a perfect location. A great deal for the money. 4 star facility. 2 star service at best.

Booked this resort last minute without much research. The resort exceeded my expectations. As it was our honeymoon, they upgraded our room for free. The resort has a tropical theme with an amazing pool and facilities for massage by the beach for quite a reasonable price. The complimentary breakfast was also very good. The location of the resort is fantastic. The front of the property opens up in the middle of the most vibrant street in Chewang and the rear leads to white powdery Chewang beach. Right next to the resort is Ark Bar perfect for a fun filled night of partying.

A nice quiet resort with rooms in a garden setting. The rooms are a good size and cleaned daily. Wide selection of food at breakfast and could always get a table. Beach area was small but this was due to unusually high tides but there is a nice pool area with plenty of loungers. The resort is a 2 minutes walk from the nightlife with many bars and restaurants to choose from. Will definitely stay here again and highly recommend

If you're looking for an amazing hotel at Chaweng Beach, look no further than the Chaweng Garden Beach Resort Everything was perfect. The superior room that we stayed at was roomy and the aesthetic really made me feel like I was at a tropical getaway. The pools are great. The monkey pool is a fantastic alternative for families and I highly recommend using the jacuzzi jets after a long day of adventuring. The breakfast is great with so many options for many different diets. At night the restaurant serves fresh seafood prepared in front of your eyes while having a normal menu with more traditional and foreign cuisine. The staff couldn't have been any nicer and I would go as far as to include them as a highlight of the trip. Helping us with any kind of question you can think of as well as assisting us with travel elsewhere via taxi or boat. I can't say enough good things about our stay. You get the best bang for your buck if you choose Chaweng Garden and you'll be happier that you did when your trip is over. I'd just like to thank the staff at Chaweng Garden again as they made my vacation one of the best I've ever had. If I could give more stars, I would. To me, there's no better place to stay than here. Welcome to paradise.

Great hotel to stay in the centre of Chaweng , well cared for and comfortable resort. SuperiorRooms are spacious with nice balcony , Standard rooms are fine, maybe a bit dark, with a smaller balcony but big rooms. Pools are not huge but fine . Dining area and bar right on the beach. The breakfast is superb, big choice , egg station , good choice of hot food and fruit, yogurt etc. The staff are super helpful . Definitely recommend !

After staying on the south coast which was very relaxing it was nice to come here. Great pools gardens and massage area. Very nice range of foods for breakfast and seafood restaurant for dinner. I would definitely come back and bring family and friends. Access directly on to beach with many places nearby to eat drink and shop

Worst service I have ever had. Breakfast is a disaster, one day they serve u buffet the next they serve u dishes, looks like they dont really know what to do. Reception also acts like doesnt care, we arrive late (about 10pm) and they dispatch us like there were busy (or wanted to finish quickly with us), we ask about tours and the guy in the recepction told us to come back tomorrow and ask in the morning shift. Never will come back.

Beautiful lush garden environment. On the beach. I would go 5 stars, if not for airport approach, which I did not expect with the distance to the airport. So 4.5 it is.

Absolutely beautiful hotel in a beautiful location. Rooms were better than we expected, swim up pool bar with the most amazing staff.. chor and bird went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing time. Beach was lovely with water sports at reasonable prices. Food was nice but so many places to eat around the hotel if you want to go out. Nothing to complain about, thank you for a lovely stay

Stayed here for two weeks. Beautiful gardens, best beach on the island. Staff are super helpful and accommodating. Walking distance to central mall.

Great place. Loved the swim up bar with a nice long happy hour! And the kids loved the Monkey pool. Our rooms were at the back so it was a bit noisy at night with the local nightlife but nothing too bad. Rooms were very clean but the AC was freezing.

Stayed in the Standard w/ Balcony. Negatives - Appears no one had stayed in the room for awhile since there were lots of dead and moving termites along with a spider in the bathroom sink. The toilet had stains and needed to be flush several times. No house keeping was provided (since apparently they did not have an extra key to get in) other than leaving bottled water and towels on the front porch. Also, noisy during the day with construction near by and hotel is located directly under flight path. Positives - friendly staff and buffet breakfast had lots of freshly cut fruit (mango, watermelon, pineapple, dragon fruit, papaya, cantaloupe).

Hotel is beautifully done. Feels very tropical, which is exactly what we wanted. They provide breakfast which is always a plus. The massages are very reasonably priced and amazing!! Only thing we didn’t like is that the bed were extremely uncomfortable. I’m a side sleeper and I woke up with hip pain because the beds are hard like wood.

The Hotel is quite nice. The beach is dreamlike and the massage very relaxing. One thing was disappointing: When we booked the ferrytickets at the Hotel, they charged an extra fee. We haven't been informed about it, so the tickets were more expansive than if we bought them at the pier!

Stayed a total of 4 days and enjoyed my stay here, it’s my second time here, one pre-covid and one now post covid. The massages on the beach are great especially for the price, the ladies are cheeky and fun, but they’re very professional when it comes to giving you a massage, 100% recommend the Deep Tissue massage. The swim up bar is nice and relaxing with a variety of drinks and food available. The staff are all friendly, welcoming and super attentive— the following staff looked after us at the swim up bar, breakfast and on the beach for dinner, their service was above and beyond and really made the stay that extra bit enjoyable. Hanlay, Band, Huk, Boss, Chor, Whan, Joey, Min And Yelley. All of them were top notch, simply the best, so thank you to all of them. The resort is suitable for singles, couple and even families, plenty of families here enjoying their time together and making use of the multiple pools and buffet breakfasts.

Gorgeous authentic place tight in the heart of the bustling neighbourhood of Chaweng. We visited for a massage which is highly recommended. The main attraction here is the wonderful tropical garden setting

Pool is clean , breakfast is good but i think airconditioner was not clean because, my husband and my friend got sick. Also if you choose shino room, firstly it looks nice and traditional but you feel klostrofobia because you can not see outside.

Great location. Awesome beachfront. Breakfast was included with our room. The room was spacious and comfortable. We had a nice balcony overlooking the pool. The free shuttle to the airport was a plus. I would absolutely recommend this hotel.

Pretty nice experience overall, rooms need a bit of work considering its old school, basic facilities like charging points etc are few and scarce. Food is decent, location is superb, I guess they could work a bit more on staff launguage and communication considering most people visiting here are foreign tourists, it becomes difficult at times to communicate in English. But highly recommend.

Very well maintained resort on the best stretch of Chaweng beach. It’s not “the best” resort on the island by any means, but in its price range it well can be
