Pros: Pool is amazing. Breakfast is good. Beach was beautiful. Cons: Overpriced. There are cheaper options that don't fall from this place. Private pool in our room was freezing, the hotel didn't have a solution for that. Foods and drinks cost unreasonable prices! Taking advantage of the fact that the area lacks restaurants and bars. One day our room was not cleaned even though we asked to clean it. We had to re-ask at 16:00 which is very late. The hotel said it was because we woke up at 09:30 (which is not that late when you're on vocation.....) TV in our room was old and didn't have Netflix, would expect more of a 5-star hotel in that price. Overall the experience was good but there were a few fundamental things missing in order to have the full resort experience. Therefore would not come here again.

Love love love this resort. The hospitality is incredible. Airport pick up and check in started the hospitality strong with cool towels and fresh cold coconuts. The staff is so friendly and attentive at the pool, front desk and restaurant. It's a gorgeous beachfront resort filled with luxury and amenities. They have an app to which you get special offers ( like buy one get one massage at their spa) or information on renting cars/scooters from them. They also have a free shuttle to two popular tourist spots on the island. We aren't here long enough to take advantage of all they have to offer, like the yoga or mixology classes, but would definitely stay here again.

Great hotel. Staff feel genuinely happy to make your stay as nice as possible. The included breakfast was lovely, the selection outstanding and with a proper fresh made cappuccino if you ask. The egg station was good too. We ordered room service twice and the food was lovely. Although the burgers came on a flat wooden block where the juices just ran off the edge. A minor thing but a plate would be so much more practical. We didn't eat in the restaurant because of trips elsewhere. The cleaning of the room was excellent with an evening turn down service if you wanted it. We used the included paddle boards and canoe. Which is a really nice touch. On leaving we paid 600 baht for an airport transfer in the hotel mini bus at 7am. They sent us with a breakfast bag. Again a nice touch. The driver was great. He didn't speed and it felt safe.

Great super friendly staff, great beach and view of the ocean. Very quiet due to being 16+ adults only. Complimentary shuttle one side to fisherman village and chaweng. Rooms are very clean and well maintained. A good place to relax, huge pool.

We spent two nights at Explorar Koh Samui and it was just the most perfect stay. From the coconut and rum cocktail on arrival to the private pool, the bed made from an actual cloud and the incredibly helpful and friendly staff, everything was just 10/10 from start to finish. We loved the fact it was an adults-only hotel as all the activities were created with adults in mind, we tried out the Thai cooking class and cocktail-making class, and spent a couple of hours at the BBQ pool party on Sunday enjoying some happy hour cocktails, all were absolutely brilliant. Our favourite part of the stay was the food... the breakfast buffet had everything you could want and more and the lunch/dinner menu had the freshest and most incredible selection of Western and Thai dishes. We can't wait to come back and would highly recommend a stay at Explorar for anyone looking for an adult-only hotel in Koh Samui.

Five stars is the minimum you can give to this amazing hotel! Outstanding service, thoughtful and caring. Prepared a menu adapted to my food restrictions and found a solution for every request we had. The staff is professional, warm and caring - the general manager, the chef and of course the hotel staff. Such good, pleasant and caring people! Looking forward to the next time!

Wow! What a place. This resort was an absolute dream. From start to finish the staff and the facilities were amazing. My Fiancé and I got engaged here, and the staff organised so much to help with this. They even decorated our room to say congratulations without ask. And they even decorated our room for my birthday. It made our stay so special. I recommend this place to anyone.

I had the most incredible stay at Explorar Koh Samui! The villa with a private pool was absolutely perfect for a luxurious getaway. The entire atmosphere was amazing, and the pool added an extra touch of relaxation. The facilities were top-notch, and the staff provided professional and friendly service throughout our stay. The room was spotlessly clean, making our experience even more enjoyable. I can't recommend this hotel enough for a truly exceptional and memorable stay in Koh Samui!

What a remarkable place, absolutly stunning from the entrance to the lounge/pool area. I was amazed by what the Hotel had to offer and it was truly a memorable experience I can't wait to repeat in the future. The staff we're incredibly friendly and made little of while our rooms were getting prepared. We were able to lounge by the pool until we could check in where I promptly fell asleep and got a sensation sun tan for an Irish man. The pool was like something out of a movie looking out to sea with a bar right in pool for ease of chilling and continued merriment. The room was very spacious and I loved the his and hers toiletries treat bags that assisted us on our short stay. There are so many amenities to this hotel, the obvious pool, a spa, a gym the restaurant and my personal favourite the wood stove oven pizza. The meals were fantastic and I will remember fondly the low light even dinner surrounded by candlelight looking out to the sea once more where the wait staff took care of our every need. If you want a quiet relaxing stay in Koh Samui, I couldn't recommend Explorar more. Just a sensation place. Can't wait to get back.
