What a great day of fun and learning. You can’t help but fall in love with the elephants. They are massive, but full of personality and friendly. The staff were knowledgeable, patient, and anticipated our needs (from bug spray to bottled water and towels, to hats while walking the jungle, they thought of everything). The whole experience was 5 star. They pick you up and drop you off at your hotel. Once you arrive at the sanctuary the adventure starts by preparing natural supplements for the elephants, followed by feeding them, then interacting with them in the wild. Next, you sit by and watch them take a mud bath while your guide tells you more facts. The adventure culminates in a hands on experience where you splash water and wash them. At the end of the day, you wash up and enjoy a very delicious meal of fried rice, spring rolls, sandwiches, and watermelon. I was particularly impressed by how clean and well maintained the grounds were and the overall professionalism of the staff. It was a day I’ll not soon forget.

A wonderful place! Here the well-being of the animals is really in the foreground. None of the elephants are forced to do anything and the handlers give all commands with words. No one has a stick or anything like that with them. The facility is beautiful and clean. Guests are really offered something and you have a unique experience through close contact with the elephants. We had a really great day. Thank you very much for that!

Great experience. Very experienced English speaking team. It was very emotional getting up close to the elephants and hearing about their stories. The team take good care of the animals. I hope our small contribution can help their great work continue.

Had the best day at Samui Elephant Home! The animals were rescued mostly from elephant shows and elephant riding. They can stroll freely on 10 hectares of jungle and treated very well by the staff. Would definitely recommend to visit while on Koh Samui and support them!

It was by far one of the best experiences of my life. I'm really thankful for all the impressions I got. The elephants are really treated with a lot of love here. They get very good organic food from their own garden. It is checked daily how they are doing and they are never used as a tourist magnet. The guides are very friendly, compassionate and try really hard for both the elephants and the people. We were picked up, given water, juice, mosquito spray, hats and had a very tasty vegetarian meal! We also received a lot of information and a lot of questions were answered. It is important to learn about the whole situation! Definitely recommended for anyone who wants to support the elephants here. Unfortunately, as we had to see the next day at the NAMUANG waterfall, not all elephants are doing so well! ALL animals have feelings! #govegan

I went to Samui Elephant Home without knowing what exactly it is so no booking. I took my kids (12, 9 and 7 yrs old) there, people are nice. There are 2 elephants inside fence, people visit there feeding them to support them. One basket of elephant’s food is THB200 but the staff give us more to feed. It’s not a spectacular but nice experience to feed and touch elephants.

Really a wonderful experience. The lady (owner) was amazing in explaining everything starting from rescue operations to food rations. The elephants were feed and treated with extreme care and kindness. She even showed us pictures from the past months of the elephants just roaming free in the jungle. Would totally do it again!

Highly recommended! The elephant carers really do care about the animals well being. The elephants have been rescued from tree loggers and/or circuses where the elephants were rode on by people. The experience has been amazing. You get a chance to feed them and bathe them as well. Lots of photo opportunities up close.

What an experience. Here, rescued elephants are made happy again and then released back into the wild. A perfect day to learn a lot about these beautiful animals. Everything super clean, great guide and the most important thing: here the elephants set the rhythm. Humans are just the spectators. Animal welfare is the priority here. We prepared food, fed them, watched the animals in the jungle and then bathed. 100% recommendable.

Chose this sanctuary as it didn't offer rides or walks with the elephants, it was to prepare their food and feed them. The elephants at this sanctuary really are living their best lives. Picked us up at our hotel spot on time and dropped us back after. The guide we had was lovely and very informative. Told us all about the elephants they had there and what they do. Got our hands dirty preparing some food balls for the elephants. The guide explained all the ingredients and why they were important. Good facilities, hand washing station, toilets and gave us all a bottle of water. The staff happily used my phone to take loads of pictures and videos throughout the experience. No hard sell for any merchandise, it was laid out and if you wanted anything you just needed to ask. A very well run sanctuary and a definite must to visit.

Wonderful experience, the people at this place rescuing the elephants and having them roam free at the reservation. You get to hang out with these magnificent animals, feed them and even go in the pool with them. Highly recommended.

A range of beautifully curated Asian elephant experiences filled with interesting stories and anecdotes. Hiking with elephants as they forage. Watching them enjoy a mud bath. Preparing snacks for and then feeding the elephants. Climbing into a bath area with the elephants and giving them a scrub down. Food and drinks in between the experiences make it a very enjoyable afternoon or morning experience. Stories about the histories of each elephant and personalities added colour to an absolute wonderful experience. Being collected from and returned to our hotel made it easy to participate it.

Super amazing experience. Extremely nice staff. The program was very well organized. We learned a lot and had an awesome experience with the elephants, including feeding, cleaning, walking and really getting to know these gentle giants up close. Everything about the visit was really well thought out.

Such an amazing day. It's really wonderful to see that people take good care of these elephants. 3.000 bath for about three hours experience including food, water, coffee - it's really worth it!

Great elephants care program with great cause. Elephants seem very happy live here. It’s not huge place but very intimate, you can stay close with elephants and get to know them. Such welfare place should always be supported by everyone especially during covid all elephants care places are facing major financial problems, everyone should come and support. Highly recommend!
