Home from home with some real characters at the bar, good food and a huge open window right on the beach looking across to Ko Phangan. It is not an Instagram palatial or rustic bar, it is more for sociable people who enjoy consuming food, beer, sport TV, pop videos and for collecting stories. There is a quiz night on Wednesday which can get very busy at 19:30 and both the bar manager Abbey and the bar owners (G+R) are smart and friendly native English speakers usually sitting chatting and smoking with the customers and they are never slow or shy. All the Thai staff work hard behind the bar and in the kitchen but still have time for good service and occasional K-Pop dances until late in the morning but don't be afraid to be loud or obvious when hungry or thirsty - this place often has a British pub feel but is not Raffles or The Ritz nor a library reading room. The food menu is extensive and good AFAIK but I only really know the bacon cheeseburger which is essentially perfect if you know to use: the malt vinegar and pepper mill (I wore it out) on your chips and appreciate the: healthy coleslaw, original Heinz tomato ketchup and addictive chunky bacon cheeseburger itself - which is my favourite on the island. If you do not use the freshly ground pepper, malt vinegar etc. it will not be so special - you add your own condiments ! This is a dish and a bar where it helps to think a little and also to bring friends to play pool or discuss some terrible British Premier League football on the TV. A few draught lagers and lovely cider but sometimes missing British English Ales, Guinness etc. and there are cheaper places in Fisherman's Village for wine and other better places for French or Italian food but here and Seven Bar are the places I would call home.

Good for a social and casual food experience on the beach. Simple setting, plastic chairs. But huge food portions and the fish ‘n chips were good! The bar at street level can be a bit noisy and disturbing when having dinner but that’s up to each own to decide. Staff is friendly and price level very attractive for this area

Five Stars all round for this wonderful gem of a pub. The staff are top shelf... super friend, very attentive and made every visit warm and so very welcoming. The quiz night was such a lovely evening, great cocktails and a truly wonderful atmosphere. Will for sure be back for a visit.

Not just a seafront bar and restaurant. A great eclectic menu from burgers to noodle box. Multiple sports tv screens assures you get to watch your favorite, a local trivia night that’s always a fun Wednesday evening. The occasional game of killer pool will randomly break out. It really has a local pub feel with a tropical twist or two.

Its a good little pub/ restaurant in the middle of the fisherman's village. The owners and the staff are great. Make you feel welcome everytime I went into the place. Prices are pretty fair for the village.

This bar was recommended by a friend and i ended up with a nightly visit. Abby and friendly bar staff made me very welcome. Good Philippino band, video music and football matches at weekend, great atmosphere and testy meals. Had the pleasure of meeting the owners who i must credit them for having a well run bar and managed to survive through the covid shutdown. Great little bar. Philip

Such amazing friendly staff who will go above and beyond for you! So welcoming and lovely cold drinks and delicious food. If you get the chance to visit koh samui this bar is a must do! 😊 can’t wait to visit again.

Came for a few Beers before the football started, the service was really slow even though the bar was empty, my husband went to the bar to order and the staff were just chatting, lady cutting the limes looked up and then carried on! We stayed for one and left. I felt like they had the regular guest, so not interested in anyone else. Thankfully, we'd been the the Emerald the night before, so we went there for drinks and food instead.

Nice enough bar with lovely staff but expensive drinks and disappointing when the cocktails contain vertically no alcohol. Had a Gin and Tonic and it certainly didn’t have any gin in. Or if it did it was watered down

Had a fab time at the Frog and Gecko! Definitely pop down for their Wednesday night quiz, it was brilliant and well organised. Staff are friendly and the prices are fair for a good bit of western food (thoroughly recommend the big brekkie).

There are nicer locations along the street though this venue is waterfront with water views. It was a slow, rainy day and the staff and service was a bit off. Premium prices for food and beverages as one is paying for the location. There is a quiz night that is popular in the area.

Meh.... Bland burgers and lackluster sides Pint of Leo 140thb ....a bit high I think Definitely don't go for dinner on Wednesday night.... they'll be looking over your shoulder waiting for you to finish in time for trivia night

Great pub, based right on the beach. We came here for the weekly Wednesday night quiz (book in advance if you want to join). The fish and chips were delicious and my friends equally enjoyed their food. Lovely, friendly staff.

Chilled, authentic and uncomplicated place that brings all kind of people together. Friendly owners, extremely engaged and attentive staff. Great music, very often live music. Pub quizzes and other fun activities.

Awesome bar in Fisherman's Village. The staff are great and the food is good. Wednesday night is Quiz night which is a lot of fun. It costs 100 baht and the winning team gets a couple grand Cash. Overall it's worth a visit just expect to pay a little bit more than average.

Visited September ‘22 to watch the Monza GP. Staff and general vibe was great, place was clean and welcoming. Had a couple of drinks, the ‘Dr Pepper’ was really great. Enjoyed the popcorn too!

When I lived on Samui, this was my go to place to drink, watch football and generally chill out. Graham and Raph are great. If anyone is on holiday on Samui head to Fisherman’s village, Bophut and check this place out. You will not be disappointed. I certainly miss this place!

Great party place with live music, awesome house band and beautiful atmosphere. Prices are also ok and they show Premier League games as well.

English pub with regular pub quizzes which is good for solo travellers as you can join in. Good cocktail menu and friendly staff eho can help out on other issues.

If you are feeling a little home sick or need to keep up with the latest sport while you are away then this place is ideal, the cocktails are awesome and the views are amazing. Can get quite busy when there is any sort of game on but its friendly and a good place to be.

A very international clientele with a view overlooking the beach. Reasonably priced food and drinks with friendly service. When I was last there it was Wednesday pub quiz night. My friend and I joined a couple from France and almost won. :-) Great fun, and easy to make new friends (especially if you can answer a question or two. ;-) )

Nice drinks and fun with a biljard table! Forgot my bag and the bar owner took it to my hotel, very nice of them.
