I am staying across the street at the Waterfront Hotel. The ratings here were good so I decided to try. Well worth the journey in. The meal I had was delicious and very reasonably priced as Fisherman Village can be a bit pricey for every night eating. The Hut will help stretch your budget and great food. UPDATE!!! I am updating my review! I went during Covid and I just don’t think business was good at the time and maybe things weren’t fresh. I have been back since several times and the food was very good and no stomach issues. Old review: I went several times after this ordering various dishes. I had diarrhea on two occasions bad enough that I had to go to the pharmacy. I have stopped going. Note I had seafood both times I got sick

Got served RAW chicken in my stir fry. I just noticed it after almost consuming everything. Staff did offer me new portion or refund the food. I took the refund. I still had to pay for the rice. That's kind of greedy. At least the staff apologize. I'm especially angry because just recovered from food poisoning. It was my first time here as a friend recommended it. In all the time I live on Samui never did I get raw meat on my plate. Definitely won't visit again.

Fantastic food, recommended by locals. We had pad Thai, Tom yum soup seafood, fried king prawn in chilli & salt (delicious) green curry, fried bean sprouts, mango sticky rice, loved it. Very full!! Staff helpful & friendly. Good value.

Great spot! We ate here twice and would have gone more if we had more time. The food is reasonably priced and delicious. The staff was so kind and friendly to our family. The massaman curry and seafood options were delicious. Made spicy to your preference and smoothie or cold beer go just nicely. Highly recommended you check it out!

Very good Thai food owned by a family who value their reputation. Portions are not very big but just enough to my taste. Price is very reasonable hence always the queue outside. Best to reserve a table over the phone or Facebook to secure your dinner. The first time we couldn't make it as there were no free seats available. Second time we made a booking and didn't regret. Highly recommended.

Oh my gosh the food is so so soooo tasty! I couldn't recommend anything better on the whole island of Koh Samui. And if you're vegetarian, most dishes they have options to make it with tofu and vegetables. My mom got the whole fried fish with panaeng curry and one with green curry. Both were phenomenal, but the panaeng was our fave. The phad thai, som tam, and curries are delicious. We went twice and wished we had found it earlier!! The wait is really quite long because its popular, so eat a snack before you go or bring one with you just in case because its def worth the wait!

Family run Thaifood Restaurant with reasonable pricing. We went there several times and the dishes were always delicious, fresh made and authentic. Imho the best place to eat Thai in Fisherman's Village!

Really nice food! Highly recommended but you need to book in advance or show up earlier! The stuff are very kind and it gets busy super fast. Best Thai cuisine in Koh Samui!

Came here because of the reviews and the food was nice but ended in the toilet all night after having seafood, as other people have posted in the comment section!!! Be careful!!!!

Authentic and delicious Thai food. So good that we have been there two times within three days being here. Far from touristic, trendy and overpriced locations along the coast, the hut (1 by the main road and 2 in the back) offers a simple yet good atmosphere as well as great Thai food which can be vegan and vegetarian friendly and tasty.

I have been to this place 5-6 times during my stay. The food was always really good, service always amazing and you feel like you are welcomed there. This place is really great, both by else to say.

Great restaurant to have dinner, better option than the touristy places at the fisherman’s village. A lot of options available, the spicy noodles were just great. Service is nice and fast

I ate really well here. Was walking down the road looking for an unpretentious place with good simple food, and I found it. Loved the papaya salad and chicken satay was good. Thought the fried noodles I got were a bit lacking in flavor, but still good.

Amazing food, really tasty and well prepared. It is like eating at home. Fair price and good service as well. The deep fried fish in red curry was spectacular. Outstanding!!!!

Great local Thai food. Just around the corner from the busy touristy fisherman’s village, you will find this authentic Thai hut restaurant. Had the green curry, seafood salad and pad Thai, all delicious and spiced just the way I asked for it. Locally run with no frills, nice seating area and good service. Authentic Thai at a great price. Why more do you need?

I'm hear in samui for 2 months and cant believe how expensive the main street is, it's such a rip off. So found this restaurant by chance tonight and was delighted with the food and price. Great staff and fantastic value for money Will definitely be back soon

Excellent laab gai. Tasty noodles in spicy sauce with chicken and Penang curry, but both could have used more spice even though I asked for mak mak Thai hot. Decent mojito. Best prices in the neighborhood!

Family run restaurant with the best authentic Thai food. Very reasonable price, lot of vegan option, definitely one of the best place to eat in fisherman village. Red curry veggie & papaya salad are my favourite!

Had one of the best grilled squid in town. The food is very authentic, price is very reasonable. The only downside is that there are lots of mosquitoes, I mean really lots of them. We had to keep killing mosquitoes while we ate. I killed more than 10 myself.

Amazing food at this restaurant! We ordered the stir-fried bean sprouts with tofu and massaman curry with chicken. Both were incredible!! The flavor in the massaman curry was amazing. The staff was attentive and so kind. I highly recommend coming here!
