DO NOT GO THIS PLACE!!! It’s such a tourist Scam, Scam, Scam!!!! I came to this restaurant because I saw many good reviews but I didn’t read the lowest reviews.( because I saw some other customers were experienced the same as me) first, They tried to sell you Pi-pi shrimp or lobster and ask you to pick from the fish tank. Then they charge you a fortune (3900 baht / kilo) and what’s terrible is… they also secretly changed the shrimp that you picked. When the food came it’s half the size than the ones you picked and also not fresh with bad smell. I am very disappointed, angry and frustrated. My whole trip in Thailand was good except this one. Such a shame.

A hidden gem! Unbeatable price for the good food quality and generous portion size provided on the plates. Fresh, flavorful and tasty. This local restaurant serves authentic Thai cuisine and specialized in seafood. Staff were extremely friendly and attentive. During the pandemic, it is one of those still surviving, hygienic and clean. We usually come for lunch as there are much less people and the restaurant was quieter. One unique feature of this restaurant was that the chefs repeatedly entertained our requests for dishes not listed in the menu. They tailored-make them to satisfy our tastebuds. We gave two thumbs-up for the high standard of food delivered. Always a pleasure to dine in thereat. If you are in Chaweng, this restaurant is definitely a place not to be missed!!

Quick, tasty and cheap! The Tom Yum Gaang is so good! The seafood is so fresh. Pad Thai was nice too. Would love to try more of the menu before I leave.

Absolutely not recommended. I had pork with rice and fried basil leaves. It tasted good, but a few hours after the meal I got sick. I had food poisoning with vomiting and diarrhea and had to stay in bed for a day. Only after two days I felt a little better. For safety, I would not recommend anyone to eat there and I will not go there again.

Solid Seafood Restaurant. Payed for Papayasalad, Fried Squid, Fried Prawns and a Big Bear 600 Baht. Staff is really friendly and fast. Ambiance is quiet simple ;) Once every Samui Holiday i go there. In my opinion its not worth to visit more because there are too many restaurants to discover.

Delicious Thai food, very quick serving. The old guy was very nice to help us pick the best meals.

Food tasted more like Chinese food. Abit of Thai taste. Decor is simple. One of the best fried egg rice that I had in a long time. Ingredients is fresh. Order a fish & a garlic stir fried prawn. All tasted delicious in my opinion. Tom Yum soup is suitable for most diner(not spicy). Overall, the food is edible & worth a try. Price wise, normal rate but felt the drinks price is a little steep. There's other interesting restaurants in Chaweng too. Therefore, I will not be returning to this eatery for awhile.

Everything is so good. The foods came out fast. The prices are super cheap when compared to the quality foods that I got. The owner and staff are really nice. I would definitely come back :)

The seafood was a bit overpriced in my opinion. Three tiger prawns costs 350 THB. The clams were not good at all, lots of empty shells. Abalones were quite good with garlic. Costed 1250 THB in total for two people.

One of the few restaurants opened for lunch in this area. Walking distance from Central Samui mall. Good seafood dishes. Ordered tom yam soup, calamari, beef salad, and som tam.

Great food! The friendly people there gave us good recommendations. The food was freshly made by the charming ladies that own the restaurant. We had a very good time and we will go there again for sure before we leave. Also loved the cats at this place. 😍

Quite nice seafood restaurant for a real Thai experience. Do not expect high end decorations or service here, it is canteen like with home cooking, but welcoming, delicious, good for your wallet. Also seafood was cooked well, not over dry like many places in Thailand do.

Thailand has so many great food to offer. Almost any local shop will give you a fantastic mouthwatering experience. Had the MIT seafood restaurant... we ordered 4 king prawns 800BHT which was quite a price and we finished 3 as they where just not good. Classic Thai dishes like the morning glory and the papaya salad quite OK and what I have to say the red snapper steamed with soy sauce was excellent. Nevertheless I can tell this was a one time visit.

Nice, clean eatery. Shrimps did taste a little bit uncooked. All in all, we left full. 🙂

Central location and good portions! Simple set up and reasonably good food. Value for money. Don't order the green curry fried rice if you like fried rice drier. The glass noodles and pad Thai are recommended!

The seafood here is so fresh and the staff are very friendly. But best of all is The price. For what we order, 4 dishes including a full fresh lobster and 8 beers, the bill was only. $2400 baht or about $110.00 AUD

Came here 5 days in a row! Loved the food, the nice servers, and the location. If you are in town, come here you will not regret it at all!

Great variety of local food much of which was well prepared and served there were however a few dishes where freshness was called into question such as some of the seafood dishes where wou could see and tasted that it wasn’t fresh eg. The raw shrimp and steamed fish. Just a tad disappointed but I think that it’s still worth giving this place a shot if you are looking Ti try out some local cuisine.
