The pool villas were totally private, well kept and beautiful. Staff is well trained, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was plentiful and the quality high. Best blueberry jam I’ve tasted in a long time. Massage was good, although Aircon in the room was too noisy. The home made chocolate cookies we got at the end were delightful. I had a very pleasant stay and I hope to be back soon. Loved that staff kept everyone hydrated around the pool, nice touch.

This was one of the best resorts I've ever been to. If you're considering coming here do it. I tell you why: From the very first second the staff did their best to provide us with the best experience possible. We got upgraded two categories for a very good price. We got a floating breakfast and transfer as a goodie and what not. This is simply amazing. Never in my life would i have expected this. The service was best in class, every wish was executed no matter what. I can really recommend this place to everyone that is looking to have a decent luxury time. 5* from me, we'll definitely come back.

Great location and great service. The different accommodations feature top amenities: gym, gardens, swimming pools, restaurant, bars… all connected to the beautiful Choemong beach. The staff is friendly and accommodating, and the hotel is oriented to detail: from the seamless check in experience, in room amenities, and an app that actually works to discover the whole experience. The breakfast was superb, and the pool/beach facilities were never crowded. We visited as a couple, but families were having a great time with kid friendly facilities.

We stayed here for our honeymoon and the hotel is beautiful. The staff were amazing and looked after us from start to finish. The food was delicious and the cocktails were brilliant. Amazing place for honeymooners, couples and people looking for a quieter time in a beautiful secluded bay.

Wonderful resort on a beautiful beach. The beds are super comfy, the breakfast is great (Wednesday’s jar-of-the-day shouldn’t be missed), great coffee, the private pool is so refreshing and a generous size, the resort pools are very well designed with a family and an adults only pool, the spa is incredible. But It is the staff that make this the best hotel on the island hands down. The best people work here. The value for the price is unbelievably good. We extended our stay by two nights and I wish we could have stayed even longer.

This is the best hotel in Koh Samui! If you are still hesitating weather to book here or not I would say just book it! I used to live in Hawaii for years so it’s very hard for me to find a nice, cozy beach in other island. And didn’t expect too much when coming to Koh Samui, I heard that the beach can be very messy because of covid…etc. However, the whole shore of this beach is just amazing and perfect! It’s also very clean with white soft sand. The pool at the hotel is a plus! It’s very nice to swim. Also the staffs went above and beyond. This is definitely a 5 star hotel, I will come back again and again!

Wonderful.place to stay. Staff go out of their way to make you feel like family. Great cocktails at happy hour. Fantastic breakfasts and cooking classes. Nothing like a walk along the beach in the early morning then returning to your villa for a dip in the pool before breakfasting. Wasn't bitten by mosquito's very good coverage. A special tea and treat left in your room at the end of the day, such a nice touch.

I had a great stay here. It is located in a quieter part of the island, which makes it feel more intimate and secluded. The layout of the hotel grounds is beautiful. The rooms are excellent. The breakfast buffet is outstanding and great value. All the staff were very helpful and pleasant. I would definitely stay at this hotel again and would consider another SALA location too.

We really enjoyed our stay. The rooms were very comfortable and all of the staff were excellent. We were particularly impressed with Kwang, Pang and An. We stayed on a half board basis and the food was excellent. The pool areas was well maintained and we always found a suitable sunbed to use.

Now this is a 5 star resort. One of the best I've ever stayed at. Excellent restaurant and breakfast food quality. Stunning rooms and villas. Excellent room service and service around pool and beach area. Complimentary drinking water. The rooms and grounds are stunning and very well taken care of and Choengmon Beach is the best beach on Samui. There are two pools, one is adult only. But no one was using the pools anyway since the beach is so stunning and only 20 meters from the pools. There are plenty of restaurants nearby which are considerably lower priced than the restaurant at SALA, especially the drinks which are way over priced to be honest compared to next door options. However the food is very very good at SALA so definitely worth one or two nights trying out the restaurant. One downside was that the airport transfer wasn't complimentary, it's only a very short ride so might as well be included. Everything at the resort is communicated via an app, it takes a while to get used to but works OK. It is a bit annoying not to have menus in the restaurant though, especially if not all persons in the company have access to phones, but it does makes the restaurant more sanitary. They have a couple of tablets that you can borrow to browse the menu as well. The amount of beach chairs could be increased and the amount of available water sports equipment could also be increased, like a couple of more kayaks and new life jackets.

Rustic, cosy small resort and super chilled. It’s easy to get around, so no long hike to the pool or the beach. Food was good and the staff were fantastic. All friendly and seemed to genuinely want to make your stay a pleasant one.

The staff were so lovely, went above and beyond for us. Clean room. Amazing food. The water was crystal clear. 100% recommend. We will be back.

Very nice and very new hotel. Wonderful rooms with great service - for example you get a free tee every night brought to the room. Breakfast is lovely to: buffet and special orders from a menu. The only thing that I have to mention is the aircon that is a little bit louder than normal.

Had the most romantic dinner here, with a secluded beach and an amazing singer with a private showing. The food was out of the world too! Most of the dishes served were the best versions of them I've ever had. The hospitality is par excellence! Would love to stay here on my next visit :)

Everything and everyone was perfect. Lovely accommodation that offer total privacy. Outstanding staff always ready to help but never intrusive. Very good spa, very good restaurant. We loved every minute of our stay. Thank you!

Finally some of the restrictions were lifted in Thailand and we decided to go for a short vacation. We decided for Sala Samui Choeng Mon Beach and it was an excellent experience, the beach is clean, there were enough beach beds (that if the hotel is not full) and the staff was EXCELLENT, the service they provide is a 5 star service. The food at the hotel’s restaurant is wonderfully prepared and it tastes and looks great, it is on the pricey side, but then again you are staying at 5 Star hotel. On a walking distance from the hotel whether is on the beach or in the close by surroundings you can find cheaper restaurants. We got the pool suite villa and it was superb, the pool is big enough to plunge and relax and there is total privacy. Just want to mention that the water while is clean and nice, you will not find it Crystal Clear as you do on the smaller islands that you can find in Thailand, it is great though. If you ever had doubts if you should choose this hotel please don’t, you will have a great experience and vacation.

AMAZING! From the first moment we entered into the hotel, we knew we entered a very special place. Our room, the private pool, bath, the bed were incredible. The only negative aspect about the hotel was food. Breakfast was good, but for other meals, we chose to eat outside at local restaurants. It was not only expensive at the hotel but also not very good (one star down because of this). We had one of the best holidays of our life here at Sala Samui

Amazing!! We frequently travel to Koh Samui. Finally found the hotel that ticks every box. The beach was a huge highlight. Blue turquoise water and light sand. Staff were amazing. Breakfast was superb. Not many guests bringing a feeling of privacy. Great for couples looking to get away and switch off!

The entire staff at Sala Samui made our honeymoon trip unforgettable!! Everyone was so nice, accommodating, helpful, friendly and the list goes on and on! If you're looking for 5-star service then this is the place for you! All the servers remembered us at each meal. This might have been because we were there during a slow tourism time, but the fact that they took the time to remember details about us personally and also the way we liked our food prepared and our drinks was amazing! We truly felt like we were being taken care of with 5-star service. The room we stayed in was lovely. We received turn down service each night accompanied by a nightly tea. We enjoyed massages at the spa and Emmy & Lisa were incredible. Very well trained and provided a relaxing day at the spa. Mam, one of the servers, was so sweet and asked us each day how our daily excursion was while also remembering the way we liked our drinks prepared. Same with all the servers we experienced. The breakfast buffet was varied and provided lots of different options. All the food was delicious. The beach bar was awesome and the daily happy hour made it even better! We truly can't recommend this place enough, especially if you're looking to stay on a quieter beach in Samui.

Wonderful place to stay at for a relaxing, joyful and tasty journey ! The numerous pools are lovely, well designed, very welcoming. Great design, architecture and taste. The direct walking access to the beautiful and clean beach is very likeable. Breakfast is wonderful, varied, fresh, generous, healthy. Staff is very kind and with a great sense of humor, we feel they love their job and it feels great ! Totally recommend.

This is my most favorite hotel in Samui so far. I really love the a la carte breakfast. Every dish I ordered was delicious. The staff were very nice. The pools were lovely. I stayed at the hotel December 2020 but I just remember to write the review now. I want to go back to Samui this year and I will definitely go back to this hotel.

The breakfast is amazing you can custom as you want the food a la cart and also have a buffet, so an amazing breakfast. Amazing staff doing an outstanding job. You can ask whatever you want and you will get it. amazing beach amazing pools amazing service. Amazing for couples.

It was an overall amazing stay, couldn't have asked for more. The pool villa was a dream and the breakfast was absolutely fabulous. We loved the adult pool and spent one whole day by the pool side. Thank you to the whole team for making it wonderful for us.

We did not stay here but came here for lunch. Service was superb - the staff made us feel at home. Food, wine and coffee were all thoroughly enjoyable. There is just a great atmosphere to this place and it catered very well for us as a family together with young children. Really enjoyed our afternoon here. Next time we are back in Koh Samui, will definitely come back to stay here!

Me and my family stayed at the Sala Choeng Mon and I can’t recommend it any higher. The food is fantastic, the staff always have a smile and the massage me and my Girlfriend had here is simply the best I have ever had. The rooms are very comfortable and the access to the beach (best part of the beach). I would also like to mention the cooking course they offer, Lek who is a chef here was truely fantastic and really helpful in teaching us the ways of Thai cooking. Thank you so much Lek! The team here are truely fantastic and hopefully will be back soon!

Perfect! We were blown away and had such an amazing honeymoon at Sala. Our villa was so beautiful and it was so nice having our own private pool. The bed was so comfortable and all the special touches in the space were so thoughtful. The staff were all so lovely and the food was delicious. We did a cooking class with chef Lek and he was so kind and patient and it was really fun. We had a massage at the spa too and it was incredible. Thanks so much for having us. We will be recommending to our friends and family and hope to come back again soon.

We stayed at SALA for our honeymoon and could not have been happier with our choice! This beautiful resort is so comfortable, spacious, well kept up, and had everything we could possibly need. The breakfast is great, both the buffet and the add-on options, and we enjoyed the food here so much that we had dinner here almost every night. Splurge and get the floating breakfast and the tea is enough to fill you up for quite awhile! The staff at the hotel was amazing and besides being so kind and helpful, they were just genuinely nice to talk with and had some great suggestions of things to do in the area! They have two great pools (one kid free), free paddle boards and kayaks, a great spa, and transportation options. The rooms are big and airy and we enjoyed the outdoor bathroom! The property is quiet and you get the most beautiful beach. Could not more highly recommend this hotel!!!

We travelled with two children aged 5 & 8 and stayed at the Sala Samui over Christmas and in the new year again after a trip to koh tao. This top 5 star resort is gorgeous, though the standout is the incredible service offered by staff working there - nothing is too much trouble and every detail is thought of. The villas are beautiful, the pool area is gorgeous and restaurant is great too. They even arranged Santa to arrive on a beach buggy with gifts for the children on Christmas morning - how amazingly thoughtful is that? We would stay here again and would highly recommend Sala Samui. Chau

Incredible resort with some of the best service I’ve experienced. The team at SALA Samui Choengmon was amazing, they are so friendly, attentive, helpful, and knowledgeable. At breakfast they knew us and our order, they asked about tours we went on, and they would respond to any request promptly. The rooms are lovely. We were in a garden pool villa, which had an indoor/outdoor theme, tons of natural light, and a relaxing holistic feel. The restaurant was delicious! They have a number of western options and Thai options. Everything we had was very good! The service was top notch as well. The included breakfast was also scrumptious. Good selection of items all from the menu, which is cooked to order, and the buffet. We had an incredible time and recharged our batteries until our long flight home.
