We arrived and were welcomed with a drink and cooling towel in the reception area whilst our details were being taken for check in. We were then taken to our room where our bags followed with the concierge. The room was big, bright and clean and just a step away from the gorgeous clean pool. The breakfast had an abundance of food to choose from and there was something for every taste. The hotel is situated ideally, just a 5 min walk to Fisherman's Village and the hotel also run a complimentary shuttle service to Chaweng Beach where it is more lively. we did that a few times and just caught a taxi back to the hotel later in the evening. The staff were very accommodating and helpful at all times and I could not fault the trip at all, until we went to check out and the receptionist had given my case to the wrong guests who were on their way to the airport. This was a little stressful, but thankfully I got my case back at the airport so all was well. There are several pools to enjoy as well as the private beach area. The food was great, the rooms cleaned every day and the turn down service was a nice touch. The only thing to mention is the Spa - perhaps Management need to review their pricing as there are several massage houses in Bo Phut, many of them you can access just by crossing the road from the hotel and cost a fraction of the price and are just as good. Also if you cross the road you can get your washing done professionally for pennies, again this is something that the hotel need to realise, instead of charging crazy prices to have it done by the hotel. All in all, a fantastic way to enjoy my birthday and I would highly recommend and may return in future.

Absolutely fantastic resort. Had such a great time here so sad we only were there for 4 days. Would have loved to be there for a couple weeks at least. Everything from the pool areas to the check in were fantastic. Would 100% recommend. Would return in a heartbeat! Thank you Bandara!

Pretty good. I would give it 3.5 stars if I could. Enjoyed our stay for six nights, staff are so polite and there's lots to do such a Pilates, gym, swimming, massage etc. There's some free stuff but this isn't a cheap resort and most things will set you back. Drinks are very expensive with not that great a view and there's no atmosphere in general during down season. Resort is a little rough around the edges too with some sections pretty gross (most nearly the beach front). Rooms are pretty however and the location is great and close to the fisherman's village, however it was pretty boring after 4 days but maybe I just don't know how to relax!!!

We had room 526, beautiful comfortable, clean room. Day bed on large balcony with pool view. The staff here are amazing, everyone so friendly. There is a main family pool, kids pool and 2 further pools by the beach bar/restaurant. Cannot fault this resort at all. The sea isn't great, due to seaweed, but thats nothing when you have such lovely beach and pool areas. Just a few minutes walk to the main town, bars and restaurants.

They have a newly re-opened lovely Thai local restaurant right on the beach. Reasonable price and most importantly - it’s LOCAL taste and menu options. As a long term resident on Samui, this is very difficult to find on the beach - especially at a large resort. Excellent !! Highly recommended to support Bandara!

Lovely hotel with friendly staff. Hotel was nice and clean and breakfast buffet was tasty with a wide range to choose from and a stunning beach view. Reception staff were always warm and welcoming. Only down side is the language barrier the staff struggle to understand English which was a little difficult but not a major hindrance in any way. Oh and the hotel Spa was amazing, lovely treatment and a beautiful flower and honey bath which I highly recommend doing in the evening when it’s dark, really romantic. Definitely would return! Samui is a beautiful place!!!!

Solid 4 star hotel in a great location. Staff are all very sweet with good pool facilities. It's a little tired in places and the daily room service is a bit hit or miss, but for a family friendly cheerful holiday the Bandara is good value.

The place is okay, but a lot has to be done about the maintenance of it and service. My room was cleaned once in 3 nights and not very well either. I dropped an earring on the floor and used the flashlight to find it and I wish I didn’t because what I saw was so gross. They are super slow with any requests as well or don’t fulfil it at all. Asking for a bottle of water needs two reminders. The shower drain also smells like urine, and the toilet smelled like asparagus pee. It was so disgusting we checked out early and booked into another hotel. I asked for a refund and they flat out refused even though nobody is using the room and they can easily sell it to someone else. Very unfair and basically stole $4000 HKD. I’d avoid this place like the plague.

Booked 2 nights here and loved it! Kitti is a hero and looked after us so well during our entire stay. In fact all of the staff were super friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious, clean with a very comfortable bed, room service was delicious and the private pool was a great option too. We will definitely be staying again in the future 🙂

We had a great holiday @Bandara Resort. Everybody was friendly, rooms and facilities were clean. Just the big Pool needs a renovation. There were really a lot of chipped tiles and parts of tiles were always coming off every day. Some of the edges are really sharp. A tip on the side - if the prices at the pool bar were more moderate, not so many people would go to the neighbouring supermarket and buy drinks and snacks for 1/4 of the price. The same goes for the massages. There are so many great massage studios nearby. A not so clearly higher price, then you also keep the guests more in the hotel. Also for the children's entertainment - do you have to charge money to paint plaster figures? Much was free - the playroom, watching films and folding towels. But what was really exciting for kids had to be paid for. The market and music festival on the beach are really nice and were a great change. As I said - all in all a really great holiday and the hotel can be recommended to everyone.

Great place! Our room was perfect! The bed was super comfy, AC worked well, ceiling fan aswell, everything was clean and spacious. A highlight was the balcony with its own fan and a big nice bed. The huge variety of pools is amazing and the water in the big pool was refreshing and not as warm as most. The breakfast buffet hold a big variety and is located right next to the beach. Altogether, you can spend a wonderful time here, no matter if the sun shines or if it's raining all day. Lots of good restaurants and the Fisherman's Village are within walking distance. The hotel is very family friendly, so don't expect it to be a calm oasis, but there is enough space to find a quiet spot.

We have spent 11 nights here and have loved every minute. The staff have been brilliant especially Diamond and Tim. Diamond has made our days spent by the pool Even better. Our kids have loved getting to know him and look forward to seeing him on our pool days. He is so welcoming and we are always greeted with a smile. Tim made our 10 year wedding anniversary that little bit more special. We had a 3 hour couple massage and she made it so perfect. She also helped us with choosing our tours that would suit our kids. Thank you for making our first family overseas trip so special. We will definitely be coming back.

I contacted the resort, stating that I'm in a wheelchair and need easy access to the facilities. They didn't tell me there were steps into every pool, at breakfast, on the garden path etc. I could do nothing. Their idea was to put me near a lift so I could get to the bottom floor. Too bad about the steps to access all the facilities once your on the bottom room We had to leave as I couldn't do anything there, not even swim. They very rudely only refunded 50% of our money. To get that i had to have a stand off with the concierge who at first pretended to speak bad English. In the end we lost over $600 due to their error. I have the email which backs up my claims. The first thing I did when I went in our room was to smell the curtains to see if they were what was making the room stink. They were, they haven't been washed for years. The room are old and so is the resort. We ended up spending a lot more and stayed at the Holiday Inn which was beautiful and had great accessible facilities.

I recently had an incredible experience at the exquisite Bandara Resort in Koh Samui, and it truly exceeded my expectations. This holiday was long-awaited, and the moment I stepped into my grand pool villa, it felt like a dream come true. The resort boasts numerous beautiful spots and features a fantastic private beach. During my stay, I noticed a predominantly family-friendly atmosphere, and the available facilities were top-notch. The overall environment around the resort exuded tranquility, providing the perfect backdrop for a peaceful getaway. The breakfast offered an array of delicious choices, and we thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience. I highly recommend Bandara Resort to anyone seeking a serene escape. Its ideal location near the Fisherman Village adds an extra charm to the overall experience. This resort truly offers a perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and natural beauty. I'm grateful for the wonderful memories created during my stay at Bandara Resort, and I encourage others to explore this gem for their own rejuvenating getaway.

We enjoyed our 7 night stay at Bandara resort. The hotel is in a good location on the beach and walking distance to restaurants and shops. Our room was large with a lovely king bed and huge balcony. Our package included breakfast and dinner each day. The meals each night were delicious and very well presented. The menu was extensive with so many great options to choose from. The hotel staff all work very hard and they are friendly and helpful. Diamond at the main pool bar is a standout and so very helpful. We found the activities and day spa at the hotel expensive and this was shown by the facilities not being used. The non- motorised water sports and yoga classes are something we would usually get involved in, but not at the prices charged at the resort.

Our overall experience at the hotel was mind-blowing. The hotel and staff are incredibly, very friendly and always helpful. The check-in was straight forward and we felt very welcomed by Kitti. We had some issues with our luggage which arrived the next day, however, Kitti was so friendly and helpful and took over the matter and made sure our luggage arrived the next day. Kitti helped us to book some day trips and made sure we got the best offer and price. We loved our room which had the private plunge pool. The rooms are huge, very bright and open. The rooms were cleaned daily and the fridge was re-filled daily as well. The only downside was the sewage smelled and we had to make sure we closed the toilet door. We can`t praise Kitti enough for his incredible customer service. He always looked well after us. Furthermore, we would like to thank Tim and the other staff at the Hotel for the incredible service especially I would like to mention Tim`s service as we went on a day trip in the early morning. She provided us with a breakfast package to make sure we had something to eat during the day. For us, it was an unforgettable holiday which we will never forget and definitely will come back. At this point, I would like to thank all the Staff at Bandara for their incredible service and friendliness during our stay. We wish you and your family a happy new year and all the best for 2024.

Recently reopened post COVID. Great property and a beautiful beach at an affordable price. My favorite hotel staff so far in Thailand!

Lovely resort, it's very big so felt strange in covid times cause it is empty. Clean and comfy rooms with nice big balconies. Very nice staff and I liked the location near fisherman's village with lots of nice massage and food options nearby. The only negative is not there fault but the sand on the beach is quite coarse so makes beach walks uncomfortable.

The place is really really nice! The scenery is adorable and it’s the nicest hotel of the beach! The bar plays good relaxing music and makes good cocktails! The breakfast is good and lunch really good (western prices). It’s a perfect place to spend at least a week at! :-) room cleaning could be improved and certain things have to get fixed! But all in all it’s pretty nice!

Had a villa room with own pool. Check in was efficient and reception was extremely polite. Room was generally clean, but notice that the rooms are not turned down - which is helpful to clear out insects in the evening. Pillows were clumpy. Buffet breakfast was elaborate, and the western room service food is better than the Thai food. Good location to walk to fisherman’s village. Don’t expect a white sand beach.

Everything about this resort is beautiful. I stayed at the pool villa suite the room is spacious it has its own private pool and the bathtub has a garden view. The resort is suitable for families with young kids, also the private beach is clean and has a great view. The check in process is so smooth the staff were friendly and helpful. I highly recommend to choose this resort.

Excellent service, very friendly and cooperative staff. We stayed in a plunge villa and the room was great, with it's own private terrace and a small pool, great to take a refreshing bath. Hotel premises are beautiful, fool of trees and tropical plants with many different flowers. Breakfast buffet is very good and in general food is also very good. Beach bar has a perfect view and offers happy hour every day. Hotel offers a seafood barbeque once a week with a big variety of see food. It also has a surf and turf night and a weekly market at the beach. Staff is super friendly. Special mention to Lance who is permanently supporting the guests wanting them to have a memorable experience.we will definitely go back. Thanks for everything. We were in a wonderful happy place.

Bandara Resort are really professionals. We spent a week there, and out of three resorts in our Thai vacation this was our favorite. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is very varied and tasty. Rooms are well equipped and all this comes at a very reasonable price. Also good location, with a nice "fisher village" nearby with many dining options. I would highly recommend Bandara Resort to anyone.

We stayed at the bandara for 5 nights in the family room with our two kids. We received a baby bed for free and the kids had their own room with sliding doors and a nice view on the tropical garden. It was truly perfect. The only negative remark would be that maybe the cocktails and food not included in our stay were very pricey. But you have a great service by the pool and a beach and overall a wonderful hotel. The rooms are new and super clean. You have beach towels everywhere, kids activities, water sports... and you can walk to the fisherman’s village where you can eat at great restaurants like the coco tam’s. We strongly recommend for a family holiday!

The kids loved the accommodations! We stayed in the room that had kids bunkbeds and they loved them. The pools were very clean. The view was amazing! The breakfast had enough choices for this size of a resort, Although we were there during a low tourism time. The front desk staff were extremely helpful and always smiling. The only downside was the local Street market night market was only open one time during our stay there.

👍👍 A touristy place with many restaurants and eateries. Best to visit on Monday, Wednesday or Friday night when the night Market is operating. The night Market has a variety of street food and touristy stuff. Interesting to visit but not a very big place. Nice beach ambience when walk along the street...
