We had a very interesting discovery with this lovely quaint little beach style restaurant & we are quite impressed. Not only with the Google maps directions but especially with the service , menu for an absolutely delicious, fully traditional Christmas lunch. Beginning with a glass of wine (Castle Rock 🇦🇺) & bruschetta / shrimp cocktail appetiser followed by more wine then the full Turkey entree consisting of generous portions of both white & brown meat, roast potatoes, peas/carrots, stuffing, sausage rolls, purple cabbage, Yorkshire Pudding & a pitcher of gravy. Absolutely delicious for our 1st time in 3 decades of not cooking our own Christmas meal. I must say we're very impressed & will return again should the opportunity present itself.

Amazing experience. Great food for Thai + international. Perfect location right on the beach. Amazing service and people. We ended up going back often for both lunch and dinner or just for an afternoon cocktail.

Great bar near the beach with a lot of seating available all of which is outdoors but covered so in the unlikely event there is a downpour you will not be affected. Great location as it is right on the beach so you can relax have a drink and enjoy the views of the beach and the sea. Distant Islands can also be seen on a good clear day. A lot of food and desserts served throughout the day. There is also a lot of outdoor parking available for those that drive so it is easy to get to and leave. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area and want to sit back and relax.

Found this place by accident and so glad we did! It’s clean and friendly and the food was delicious. I had the special of the day, sea bass in garlic sauce with mashed potatoes. My husband had the fish and chips and really enjoyed it. The beach is clean and empty. Hidden gem...

Really low standard food, tastes as if it has gone off some days back. Service is also unfriendly and moody, would avoid this place

Angela's moonhut is a fantastic beach restaurant with nostalgic decor, great location, great food ,lovely staff , and Angela however busy she is has always got time to stop and talk with her customers lovely lady, great Sunday roasts , I recommend to anybody going to koh samui checkout her hospitality fantastic. Wonderful food, wonderful location. Ask for things... can order in advance bagels, cinnamon swirl rolls or the new cinnamon swirl cake. Angela is always baking something special... heard she has a NY Baked Cheesecake...yum! Today I had pancake, fried egg and bacon, very NY ! But Angela cooks for many countries !

Great beach side restaurant. We stayed a week and were never disappointed. Wonderful food, don't miss the Sunday roast.

If you are wanting a great swim spot with great Thai servers and staff… you’re in the right spot. And my goodness… the menu is so diverse from authentic Thai to American! And they have breakfast, lunch, and dinner! I’m over the moon about this place! Yes pun intended lol! Enjoy!

Two stars only because of the view. We must have ordered the wrong things since the majority of reviews on here are good. We came for breakfast and it’s a great location right on Maenam beach. The watermelon shake was not fresh, the “BELT” sandwich was very boring and the club sandwich with fries was also just “meh”. They have a lot of dishes with avocado (when in season) on the menu and when I asked the waitress if it was good right now she just laughed. They also call themselves a “bakery” but the bread on our sandwiches tasted like it came from Tesco. Anyway, this place caters towards older brits and it’s expensive for what you get. Those 3 items came to 440 baht.

Great local diner, offering traditional Thai style breakfast or western style dishes as well. The food takes a little longer to be served, but that’s just because everything is made fresh to order. They also have fresh juices, they bake an assortment of fresh breads daily, I highly recommend the scones! The service is great as well.

Near sea. Good place to eat breakfast and swim. You can order and go swimming and comeback to eat your food. Price is a little bit higher than in the center Mae nam, but I think it is ok for location.

Stunning location, friendly staff and really good value food and drinks. I worked with my laptop with one of the best views ever, using the decent WiFi. A mixed menu which has a lot of choice. Sunday lunch is really fantastic and includes great Yorkshire puddings. They make their own scotch eggs too.

I was very excited to visit this cafe on the beach after seeing it featured on so many Youtube videos. We arrived early for breakfast on the beach. The staff member who was serving was very rude and unwelcoming. It seemed to be a terrible imposition to serve us. We had a coffee, but her attitude put us off eating there, so we went somewhere else instead, where the atmosphere was much more welcoming. Even though it's a great setting, I don't think I'd go back there or recommend it, which is a shame.

A beautiful spot right on the beach with amazing views, delicious food, and wonderful service! Had breakfast and lunch here on multiple days and it never disappointed! Amazing coffee, cappuccinos and juices. Breads were delicious and eggs so flavorful. Huge menu where there is something for everyone. Angela is a kind and gracious hostess :-)

Gorgeous place right on the beach. Food was excellent, relaxing atmosphere and beautiful views. The staff went out of their way to help. Angela’s was a perfect place to eat, drink and relax.
