Currently constructions right next to the hotel. After agreeing with reception staff that it is possible to cancel free of charge, the hotel Management decided not to refund. Never providing to speak to us as guests of the hotel. Definitely do not recommend to stay at this hotel, especially because of the constructions just next to the bungalows.

After falling in love with the Fisherman’s Village, we decided to find a hotel close by. We wanted a hotel with high rating, but found that Anantara was too big and pricy, Karma was full and so many other hotels too dated. Then we discovered Cielo! This little boutique hotel recently reopened after a full renovation. And what a beautiful place! This hotel is just perfection. A friendly receptionist welcomed us with iced towels and showed us around. Fabulous designer rooms with huge windows and glass doors to a lush and well kept garden. Super fast Wi-Fi, Bluetooth speaker, coffee machine, minibar, safety box, soft robes, umbrellas and beach bags in the room. Banana trees with burgundy flowers and bananas along the little pathway that connects reception, rooms and pool & beach area. The hotel offers a range of connecting suites, suites with private pool, suites on two floors also with private pool, and several bungalows. A fantastic pool area with sun-beds with the best mattresses ever made! A super clean infinity pool with direct beach access. More sun beds at the beach. Free paddle boards for guests. The Cielo restaurant was too stylish for my family’s taste and we found the set breakfast too limited. But with the more laid back Karma restaurant next door we had some fantastic meals. We also walked to Fisherman’s Village where we can recommend Gusto Italiano with tables at the beach, Karma Sutra, BaguetteBar and many other great places. We are certain that we will return to Cielo next time we travel in Thailand!

We just can’t explain well how special this place really is. Koh Samui is quite busy, but Cielo brings a sort of peace and tranquillity that is unmatched. We love boutique hotels and this is the best one yet. We had a duplex villa with a pool and it was just amazing. The esthetic, the look and feel, the pool, the “his and hers” shower, the bed. Wow. Also Kohco, their restaurant on the beach, is great! Went there for dinner which was great, and their breakfast every morning is nothing short of awesome. Did we already talk about the staff? Everyone greets you with an amazing sweet smile, every request is handled great, and they go out of their way to create the best possible stay. Out of all our travels this has impressed us. Wish we could have stayed longer (it’s our honeymoon) or that we went earlier ;) Already decided to come back to celebrate our 5 year marriage here!! BIG COMPLIMENTS TO THE WHOLE CIELO TEAM!!

There are a million reasons to love this hotel! If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Stayed here for a week and everything was just perfect: the staff is so incredibly kind and professional, always at your disposal and happy to fulfill your every wish. The rooms and hotel facilities are SO CLEAN. The hotel has amazing gardens and a beautiful pool. There’s a nice beach in front of the hotel. The restaurant has really good food and a great breakfast. Everything is really fresh! The fresh coconuts are the best!! The location of the hotel is also really good as there are many things to do within walking distance. But the hotel also organises scooter or car rentals at really affordable prices. Also recommending booking a boat trip to Ang Thong marine reserve. Looking forward to be back!!!

Very beautiful rooms, all the food here is amazing same with the drinks! The staff is incredibly friendly and all want to make your stay as comfortable as possible shout to Min he is the man!

My friend and I had a wonderful experience staying at this resort. The food was incredible, and the staff were very kind and accommodating. One of the staff, Min in particular went above and beyond to help make our stay all that much better. Would definitely recommend Cielo to anyone staying in Ko Samui.

Amazing room aesthetics and atmosphere. All staff were so friendly and attentive. Our bidet was leaking and they replaced it and cleaned up the bathroom straight away. We enjoyed the morning stretch and yoga classes 😊

Certainly the most beautiful hotel we have ever been to! The villas are incredible, very spacious and modern. The managers are lovely, and all the staff is very kind. We were fortunate to be there during a special Moroccan evening at the restaurant, and the food was delicious. We would have liked to stay longer and highly recommend this hotel without hesitation!

Beautiful hotel with stunning rooms. We had the single level room with private pool which was right next to the boutique shop so totally private and peaceful. Our room was more than big enough so I can’t imagine what the 2 level studios are like! All the staff are so attentive and kind, the male receptionist helped us book our ferry tickets and sorted out a taxi for us which was very helpful. The only negative I would say is that we found the restaurants menu was seafood/Mediterranean, meaning we left most days to go find Thai cuisine. We would have happily ate at the hotel most days if they did w some traditional dishes at a reasonable price. The food we did have we felt was a little style over substance. Cocktails were nice and very strong, but again on the pricey side. We loved this little haven of paradise on Samui and would recommend it to anyone visiting the island. Thanks Cielo!

This hotel is amazing. The interior design and all the details are *chefs kiss*. Breakfast was incredible - so much better than a buffet. Lunch and dinner are the same - wood fired pizzas, fresh seafood, everything is artisanal and created from scratch. Staff were so helpful and kind. You can tell the owners are so proud and love what they have created. They are out with guests all day from breakfast to closing. Only regret is staying only two nights!!

We really enjoyed our stay. The breakfast choices were perfect and the food at all was delicious. The service was incredible and the rooms were beautiful. We really loved the overall style and ambiance of the hotel. The hotel is further perfectly located (10-15min to the fisherman’s village). The only things we missed were perhaps thinner curtains for the windows for daytime, as taller people could see into our room. And maybe trash bins that match the style of the decor. We further would recommend to offer the water in glass bottles which can be refilled, as the plastic bottle are not sustainable (but I read that they try to change this). Other than that we would consider our stay as perfect.

5+ stars. We were a bit unlucky with the weather. There was strong wind and the beaches all over the island was filled with rubbish, so after visiting a few spots we concluded that it would be better to just stay on the premises. And that did not disappoint at all. The room, the bed (omg it is even better than the one at home), the place, the bar, the restaurant, everything just made me feel so happy. I loved everything about it. People are friendly, the food also amazing! And the breakfast, oh my goodness, the breakfast. I still think about it with hearts in my eyes. Just one small point of feedback would be the water pressure. I didn’t mind it that much, because there is no rush on vacation, but filling up the bathtub a little over half way took 30 minutes.

This hotel is a slice of Heaven on earth! The room is fully renovated, clean and comfortable. The restaurant food deserves a Michelin star . The hotel staff are incredibly welcoming and helpful! Nice resort for the price. Pretty clean and really charming decoration. I stayed in a really charming room that looks like a hut. The staff is welcoming and attentive. They offer scooter for rent which is really convenient to move in the island. Fisherman’s village is also near. I recommend definitely !

A BIG thank you to Pauline and the WHOLE Cielo Samui - Team! Our stay was from the beginning until the end simply fantastic and we felt like staying " in heaven".... Our booking progess was supported personally and in a very very kind way and all our wishes for the stay were considered. After our very long journey from Austria to Samui we had such a friendly welcome at the reception, wow we were so overwhelmed! In summary I can say that the food was delicious, always fresh and a variety of local fruits and seafood - WOW! the room had a warm and cosy atmosphere and had so many nice details. The private pool, the jungle feeling outside and the whole hotel area with its infitiy pool, seaside restaurant and private beach area made our stay perfect! A special thank you I want to say to the staff. From our view you can be really proud of every single staff member as they fullfilled every wish, they were always kind and with a smile! We already miss you - greetings from Vienna!!

Everything is beautiful, the staff is excellent and the food is top-notch. Coming to Koh Samui for 16 years and so lucky we found this gem. Just lay on a sunbed and watch the stunning view while drinking a coconut. The perfect choice of music makes everything come together. Feels like heaven.

The rooms and the entire establishment are spotless, beautifully designed, right by a quiet beach, just a short taxi ride from the most popular beaches in Koh Samui, and a short walk to the fishermen village which has great food options. My very personal downside is that the bar/restaurant of the hotel plays music all day; although that’s not very loud and staff lowers a bit upon request, I wish I had known before as I personally find it disturbing (others may not, of course). That aside, a great place to stay in!

The resort has great style. Great staff and service. 10 minutes walk to Fisherman village. The entrance to the hotel is very small alley. It is right next to Karma hotel. A few recommendations for better experience - They have no television in the room, - When it is windy, the door makes a lot of movement noise, it was hard to sleep. - They should leave more than one roll of toilet paper. ( when asked, staff immediately brought to the room) - Breakfast has only 3 choices. This resort has many positives and the staff makes this resort enjoyable.

Our first trip back to the island since our honeymoon almost 30 years ago, and we weren’t disappointed. Cielo is simply amazing. Rooms impeccable, location superb for walking and exploring and staff truly outstanding. Owners are busy catering to the glamorous Insta guests and their friends, but the other staff from reception to breakfast made our stay memorable. Food in the restaurant was outstanding. Only suggestion: really do need more breakfast choices. We would absolutely come back again.

Just returned from 12 nights here with my family of 5. We had a 3 bed villa. Such a lovely chilled resort. Was a bit worried that it might just be too quiet for my kids to enjoy the pool properly without disturbing other guests when we arrived but there were lots of other families there as the holiday went on so not a problem. The restaurant staff were great and very amenable. The dinner menu was delicious. Breakfast was only 3 options but we didn't mind as what they offered ticked all our boxes. One thing to note is that one of the bedrooms is not directly accessible from the other 2. They are all directly beside each other but no internal door - just something to note as I don't think this is clear on the website and may be a consideration with young children. You can tell that a look of effort is put into keeping the resort grounds so beautiful. Highly recommend this place to everyone!

Good location, great atmosphere and very helpful online customer service. however the reception desk service was poor. When paying for electricity and mini bar, my husband opted for pay pal because we ran out of cash. And we proposed PayPal ourselves because when we made the booking it was in PayPal. The reception desk was insisting on cash before our suggestion. When typing the recipient account, Reception didn’t realize there was a typo and she confirmed. hence the transfer didn’t go through. The supervisor asked “do you not read English” and “we’ve accepted PayPal 1000 times no one has entered a wrong address”. My husband is Canadian... Under similar cost range our earlier stay at a private service property was undoubtedly much more hospitable. Sad to see this even though the bungalow itself was lovely.

Great quiet location walking distance from fisherman’s, staff friendly. The men push our bags to reception and to the taxi when leaving. Rentals of scooters is also available. Clean bungalows and outside area very clean. We would come back again

Best place I've stayed in Thailand. Onto the beach, beautiful bungalows, great helpful staff and wonderful vibe. Easy to get to fisherman's by road or beach.

This place is managed by a French couple, the main entrance gose trought a perfectley and beautiful tropical vegatation, its worth the visit! Rooms are good and the food is very good. You can find European food and Thai food of high quality. Pauline the MC, is always helpful and very profesional. The Thai staff speaks French and are very pro as well. A very good choice!

We had a lovely stay in July for 10 nights. Great staff, lovely location and excellent food. Would highly recommend and we will definitely be back.

Fantastic little boutique hotel nestled quietly along the beach at Bophut. Food is of a very high standard. Well kept, Mediterranean style rooms with tons of character and a friendly French host. Welcoming and helpful staff. A real find.
