Fantastic hotel. We were in the tropical villa for 2 nights and the beachfront pool villa for 1 night. The resort is new and very well maintained. The pool is large and deep (they have 2 areas in the resort and 2 pools, one with the villas and one side with the traditional hotel type rooms). Complementary soft drinks in the mini bar, and complementary kayaking and paddle boat as well. We went in June so there were lots of beach beds empty for use. Also have thoughtful touches like a beach bag in the room. Overall very very good for the price. Only drawback is it's not really walking distance from the fisherman's village (good 20-25 min walk).

I would give 0 star if I could ! Worst check out experience ever ! We’ve been told that a beach bag is missing and we have to pay 1000 baht ! My husband and I always check hotel rooms before leaving in case we forget any personal belongings and we both saw the beach bag right where it was hanging! The only person who had access and entered the room right after we left was the housekeeper and she looked sketchy ! Of course we refused to pay for something we didn’t take and asked the receptionist to check all our bags and luggage. He was very uncomfortable and he believed us but we insisted and even asked him to take pictures ( He was doing his job and we totally get that) Moral of the story : Be careful and take videos if you have to to protect yourself before you leave your room for check out or Stay with the housekeeper when they do check the room to verify if all hotel items are there ! Just imagine opening all you bags in the lobby when you didn’t even take anything ! I hope whoever took it from the hotel will be punished and have consequences ! We had ana amazing stay and staff was overall very nice but will never come back after this bad experience at the end ( 0/10) 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

Mixed review! The beauty of the place make this resort, the staff ruin it. We were a party of 5 and we agreed 20% of the staff were helpful. There was no welcome on arrival! Our room backed onto the main road, which was noisy, so I would recommend avoiding rooms at the back of the resort. The hotel provide beach towels, but when we asked to change them after 2 days and a boat trip out, they were not delivered to our room as promised and we had to do a ‘sit in’ at Reception for 15 minutes before they were given to us the next day. Happy hour drinks are only to be drunk round the pool; even n monsoon rain, you are not allowed shelter as they ‘must be drunk around the pool!’ Positives - there are 2 large pools, 1 is massive and kayaks and sun loungers on the beach.

10/10. Atmosphere in the hotel is kind of White Lotos series, a lot funny things happened. We had a great time here, not so used to take 5 star hotels but this time We decided for some luxury. Breakfasts are excellent especially that you can have a seat along seaside. Swimming pool very nice. Pleasant manager lady ant the whole crew. Rooms are very clean, comfortable and fresh looking, never had so big bed (2x2,2m) Thanks a lot. (:

Our opening day was a bit abrupt. We were asked to wait by the pool until 2pm (although Agoda said 1pm check-in). When we got to the pool we were asked if we were a resident. Then we were not believed as they requested out room number... So a bit abrupt for a 5 star resort. Ultimately, they had a room ready for us very quickly, before 1pm. There are 2 pools but one is so shallow that it heats up to bathwater temperature. The scenic one in the photos is pretty useless for swimming in. More for photo opportunities. The breakfast was good. Was not a fan of the 'chicken sausage' and 'chicken ham' but lots on offer. 5 star, the staff are normally very attentive and friendly. The waiting staff seemed a little sour/unenthusiastic, at breakfast in particular. Some of the restaurant reviews put me off going there for dinner as I can see how the staff could spoil the experience if you catch them on a bad day. Cleaning staff were very friendly though. Great views and great beachfront location really make the place. No loungers on the beach despite all other hotels providing them for guests along the front. That was a bit of a let down. Would stay again but if the price is over 3k 2.8k baht per night I probably wouldn't. The pools in the villas looked small also. I'd pay 3.5kax for one of those. The bungalows beside the pool didn't seem worth much more than the basic rooms.

Stayed there for 3 nights in a 2nd floor room (nr 920). Super big Shower with glass roof, big balcony with a sunbed, good coffee machine,  bose soundbox, huge bed and a silent aircon. The room was big and the high roof makes it even bigger. The welcome of the staff was very warm, they explained everything what the guests have to know, thumbs up. The resort is directly connected to bo phut beach, and the famous fisherman village is easily reached by a 15min beachwalk. The saltwater pool is clean and the surounding  sunbeds are perfect for a sunbath. We have tried surfboard yoga at the pool, which is challenging but superfun. The breakfast is a la carte, but you can order as often as you want. The taste was very good and also the offered selection of foods. They have a very good gym with a good variety of machines and dumbells. We have enjoyed our stay and would recommend this resort to anyone who wants to visit Samui

Perfect hotel with Perfect staffs! They’re so nice and talkative. Even I come in raining season, they also suggest me a lot of good places to go. They’re very friendly to tourist who travel alone as well. I stay in the pool view room. I do enjoy my time here. And the location is quite good. I enjoy walk along the beach to fisherman’s market. It’s very cozy to walk in such nice and clean beach. Special thanks to K. Pan, K. Oam, K. Aom, K. Meen, K. Mes, K. Ex, K. Mos!!!!!!!

What a shame. As other reviewers here said, the photos they use to sell the hotel are not what you get… 2 hotels merged, and they use the photos of the newer hotel to sell it. Sadly, you may end up in the old hotel. Although the new pool is beautiful, there was never any space at all. By 9am, the few sun beds were taken. I also read another reviewer say that they were not even allowed to use the new pool after all, since they were placed in the old hotel.

Beautiful hotel, rooms are huge and very clean and modern. Bed was super comfy and massive to say the least! Pool area is also lovely with a nice bar that does two for one cocktails. Really enjoyed our stay, the staff, location and service was great. We had a lovely stay and will definitely return and stay here on our next trip.

This is great value, I extended my stay twice as the location, facilities and rooms are so top notch. The staff were great too and went above and beyond. The food and breakfast is awesome and lots of options. Would really recommend staying here.

We had a fantastic stay at Celes resort. We booked the beach front pool room, there was so much space, a spa in the bathroom and several spots outside to get your tan on. Bophut beach is right out front but I wouldn’t swim in there, it’s very dirty. Apparently the hotel is split between two areas, so I’m basing this review off my experience in the room and service.

From the moment when we check in, the staff guide us to the room don't speak one word, until we have to ask where is restaurant and what time for breakfast. We stayed in the beachfront villa, it's badly maintained. Room interior space is large and comfortable. We walk to the restaurant at evening, there are 5-6 staff standing there, don't speak one word. We have to wander around and find someone to ask where can eat. I lived in Thailand more than 10 years and I never experienced a hotel with such careless staff. Regardless of the services, the location is good and the beach is nice. No atmosphere here at night...

The hotel is absolute disaster from the start to finish! The pictures you see are total scam! We booked those beautiful rooms and we ended up in part of the hotel that feels like a motel. The reality is shockingly different. It felt like stepping into a forgotten, dusty time capsule. The promised amenities were non-existent. You have to walk for like 10 min to get to the new part of the hotel, where the infinity pool is. The staff seemed disinterested, providing a level of service that was beyond disappointing. The cleanliness of the room was at zero level. Also the dining experience was an absolute nightmare. Very very poor service from the restaurant staff that was staring at us like we were an intruders😀 We waited for our food for a very long time and we were alone in the restaurant! To top it off, the bill included items we never even ordered.

A beautiful resort in a great location. The pools are sparkling clean, the breakfast buffet catered for everyone, the rooms were well appointed and comfortable and the staff were very attentive. Nice touch adding the free water and soft drinks in the mini bar...very welcome! The gardens are immaculate and it just a short walk away from fisherman's village. The beach is nice too, but we didn't swim there much. My only complaint would be that our hot water was only luke warm. When I reported it to reception they said they would tend to it, but it didn't get done during our stay. A bit disappointing. Otherwise, would highly recommend this place.

This is a nice place. For friends or family. Room have an outdoor shower. Great big bed. Wifi is good. Cleaning was good too. Friendly and helpful staff all around. For me, the food was nothing special. Stayed for 5 nights. Had dinner and lunch once and breakfast one time. The stay was included with the breakfast. Swimming pool was almost to hot😂 Fisherman's village for restaurants and drinks in easy walking distance.

Nicely located and well protected from the noise and traffic around. Marvellously friendly staff, and the spa is delightful. The gym is basic but decently equipped. Good breakfast selection.

Everything was outstanding. Stayed here 9 nights instead of the 3 nights we booked in advance. From all the friendly staff members, the huge bed (220cm), amazing breakfast and nice pools. Everything fell in place here, definitely coming back next time we’re in Samui!

Our staying in Celes Samui was beyond extraordinary! We were on our honeymoon and the staff took really good care we enjoy our stay, the facilities of the hotel are really indulging and we really recommend staying over here. Really good value for money, especially because of the staff.

We got a reasonable price for a pool villa in the low season. The experience is great overall. Nice room, nice pool. The welcome fruits are great, and anything in the fridge/coffee maker is there for you for free (i.e., included in the room charge). I did a SUP Board a bit and the sea was calm enough that I did not fall off too often. Good selection from the breakfast. Our flight was a bit early so they provided snack boxes to go.

Had a lovely stay here. Great room with very comfortable bed, nice shower with glass roof. Room overall was just comfortable. Love the espresso pods from illy, you get 2 a day. Pool is great and the beach is right (literally) in front of the pool. Had great massage while I was here. Staff are super friendly and kind.

One of the best hotels I even been! Amazing pool with a spectacular sea view, comfortable and beautiful rooms and very responsive and kind staff! Highly recommended! I hope I can get back one day.

Staff at reception is not at all friendly. We requested for a room near the pool, they denied. We thought of extending our stay, they said we will have to change our room because it was assigned to their next guest. Late check out (even by 15 mins) was also denied. Don't know how they are managing!! On the plus side, the breakfast buffet is good and has variety. Rooms are also good.

Very friendly and helpful staff (front desk, cleaners, breakfast and pool). Front desk staff helped us with off-site restaurant reservation, pool staff advised us on the weather when we go for SUP board/kayak (free). We just got the cheapest room (for 2) and we think it was a very great value deal for the room and the services we were getting. IMO the villa may not be worth it unless you have more than 2 ppl or getting the one with the ocean view. The room was really clean and we love the fact that they continuously load our fridge with water, pop AND vitamin B water (best for our day trips)! We also didn’t have any problems getting extra towels for the pool/bath and found the staff super responsive. No complains at all. They are also located very close to fisherman village and orange wave (for water sports). Would highly recommend this! Oh and they have BOGO from 2-5 by the pool everyday.

5 star. Amazing pool suite villas. Staff completely attentive. Came June 2022. Aye checked us in and Tommy helped. This entire trip has been awesome! Shuttle to fisherman’s village and a golf cart from room to front desk anytime you want. Staff attentive and determined to make sure your stay is good. Close walk to food and anything in town. Staff knowledgeable! Resturant at resort is so nice! Not packed with people. Would recommend.

We had a wonderful few days staying at the Celes resort upon arrival from Switzerland. The staff is friendly, the resort is very clean and the pool is fantastic, overlooking the sea. Their s9a is beautiful too. It's.located close to Fisherman's village and also very nice to walk the beach. The food at the restaurant was outstanding. The fresh fish in tamarind sauce is mouthwatering delicious. We look forward to our next stay here. Thsnk you for the great time we had.

Nice hotel especially for that price. Large bed, cool pool and clean beach with very good sand.

Nice rooms (especially in the upper level) and a beautiful resort with the pool close to the beach. Also resort activities are offers. The breakfast could be better compared to the price per night

We had a good time in CELES. Based on the price of the private pool villa we expect more than what we got, I will go in more details: 1- Check in process was good, welcoming drink is to due for. 2- Our 1st anniversary was in the 2nd night of our stay and they make it better by providing us a cake. 3- Housekeeping is the worst, as we noticed some blood on the bed cover sheet and none of us was injured or bleeding. 4- EX from the restaurant is one the best crew members in the Resort.

This place is really great! The pool was amazing and the amenities are great! Make sure you go and reserve time with the paddle boards and/or canoe. Just down the coast line is a fire show at a restaurant called Coco Tams, make sure to go see that sometime. Also, they do a cool afternoon tea thing that you should do as well.
