Our
opening
day
was
a
bit
abrupt.
We
were
asked
to
wait
by
the
pool
until
2pm
(although
Agoda
said
1pm
check-in).
When
we
got
to
the
pool
we
were
asked
if
we
were
a
resident.
Then
we
were
not
believed
as
they
requested
out
room
number...
So
a
bit
abrupt
for
a
5
star
resort.
Ultimately,
they
had
a
room
ready
for
us
very
quickly,
before
1pm.
There
are
2
pools
but
one
is
so
shallow
that
it
heats
up
to
bathwater
temperature.
The
scenic
one
in
the
photos
is
pretty
useless
for
swimming
in.
More
for
photo
opportunities.
The
breakfast
was
good.
Was
not
a
fan
of
the
'chicken
sausage'
and
'chicken
ham'
but
lots
on
offer.
5
star,
the
staff
are
normally
very
attentive
and
friendly.
The
waiting
staff
seemed
a
little
sour/unenthusiastic,
at
breakfast
in
particular.
Some
of
the
restaurant
reviews
put
me
off
going
there
for
dinner
as
I
can
see
how
the
staff
could
spoil
the
experience
if
you
catch
them
on
a
bad
day.
Cleaning
staff
were
very
friendly
though.
Great
views
and
great
beachfront
location
really
make
the
place.
No
loungers
on
the
beach
despite
all
other
hotels
providing
them
for
guests
along
the
front.
That
was
a
bit
of
a
let
down.
Would
stay
again
but
if
the
price
is
over
3k
2.8k
baht
per
night
I
probably
wouldn't.
The
pools
in
the
villas
looked
small
also.
I'd
pay
3.5kax
for
one
of
those.
The
bungalows
beside
the
pool
didn't
seem
worth
much
more
than
the
basic
rooms.
