When it first discovered it around 2004ish it was a great place to hide from the girly bars, unfortunately now it's become just another girly bar albeit low key...sad times. Having said that it still offers a cool and peaceful vibe for couples and small groups. The toilets, although not easy to get to, are clean which is definitely a bonus. Come back Frank, you're desperately needed

Great place to enjoy some Cocktails (best ones i had in a long time!), while listening to classics from the 70s and 80s. The waitresses are friendly and competent and there isn't really anything to conplain about. Except, that this Bar is in a side road and therefore Not so crowded (so if you're looking for a big crazy Party you're wrong here).

Great find in Lamai! Very cool Irish owner all Chat and typically has the charm and open hearted personality of Ireland. A perfect chilled classy place in amongst the madness.

OMG the cocktails. Fabby! And an extensive list. Highly experienced and friendly staff, lots of sofas to relax in. Just of the main drag in Lamai, turn right from Walkabout. Well worth a visit. Prices pretty reasonable, around 120 Baht pet drink.

I stopped in for a beer on my way back to my hotel. I have to say this was one of the most unfriendly and uninviting pubs that I have ever been in. The staff could have cared less for my business and it almost seemed as if I was interrupting them by being there. I would have had more fun either in jail or at a Dentist than this place. Stay away.

Great bar for chilling out and enjoying a drink with friends and family. A good music choice, very cold beer and lovely staff and friendly management. Lava Lounge is nothing like the louder girlie bars in town and dont really understand how anybody can review otherwise. Located just off the main strip, by evening the road is not busy and its a great place to spend a chilled out evening. Highly recommended.

Its a nice bar with good atmosphere, friendly ladies on the bar and reasonable price alcohol. They always play chilled music which is good to relax with in the evening. I really cant understand why it isn't more busy. Usually only a handful of people there.

One of the best bars in Lamai, if not Samui, a hidden gem. Comfortably laid out, great music, certainly the most extensive range of drinks of any bar by far and reasonably priced with attentive friendly staff. Highly recommended
