A touristy place with many restaurants and eateries. Best to visit on Monday, Wednesday or Friday night when the night Market is operating. The night Market has a variety of street food and touristy stuff. Interesting to visit but not a very big place. Nice beach ambience when walk along the street next to the beach.

Amazing place, a must see in Samui. Has a very nice beach with great view and a wide range of restaurants to grab a bite and have a relaxing drink. There are a few shops around that offer options from souvenirs to swimwear and other things. All in all great destination.

It's definitely a happening place worth a visit or two, especially the night market every Friday. Plenty of shopping, eating and drinking options. The negative side is that everything shuts at 11pm. We had a tough time getting dinner and ultimately it was an Indian restaurant called Kohinoor that saved the day for us........

Nice little area full with restaurants, shops and massage salons. On some evenings there is also a nice night market with a variety of Thai and western street food... highly recommended. We visited the night market on 11-11-2022 and it wasn't all to busy for a touristic area.

The beaches are very dirty. Everywhere you look there’s bits and pieces of plastic and packaging. Restaurants are too expensive. Ridiculous prices. The streets look very nice so that’s probably what you pay for… but please clean up the beaches!

Overall a nice action packed area. Top restaurants, tailor shops, lots of shopping. The apartments on the ocean side are pretty expensive but you can likely negotiate at better price in person. The Frog and the Gecko bar/restaurant is fun. Wednesday is Trivia night starting at 7pm, 100 baht entry fee to play, lots of ExPats.

Nice place to eat, drink and maybe also get a massage. It has everything from Food (Restaurant or Night Market) to Souveniers. Good to spend some time and have some fun 👍🏼 You cant argue about the price because it‘s still cheap for a westerner. If it‘s too expensive then buy something in 7eleven and stay in your room in the hotel 😊

Loved our executive suite. Could see the ocean from the king bed it felt like we were floating on the ocean. We had our own patio with sun loungers walk up 3 steps to a sitting area with day bed and table and chairs a big area then into the room. A fantastic spot for shopping and food in fisherman's village

Awesome laid back walking street with many nice restaurants lining the ocean. The beach area and sand isn't necessarily centerfold magazine material, but the chill atmosphere and quality food is the reason to make this a destination you take time to stop and take in! Plenty of shopping as well - Enjoy!

Lovely night market! Many restaurants where you can dine by the beach and if you keep going, you will find lots of souvenir stalls and at the end of it all - many food stalls. The food stalls are excellent and offer many food choices. There is a seating area too with live music 😁

The strip of koh samui. An incredible selection of budget and luxury restaurants and shops with a plethora of massage, tattoo and generic shops. Would highly recommended spending an evening browsing and ending up on the beach outside for a free fire show with fire breathers!

We love it here, loads of shops, great restaurants and a fantastic spot for sunset. It is a shame that while the beach is public, you have to walk through a bar/ hotel/ restaurant to get there but also means there are loads of places to get a drink / food while on the beach.

It's shops, restaurants, bars, massage places, shops, restaurants, bars, massage places, well you got the gist. Not 1 fisherman. If you like that go ahead. Ohh and the beach is nothing special. No, no fisherman there.

Ko Samui is a small island and Fisherman’s village remains the highlight of the place. We were lucky to witness there Friday markets! This is THE PLACE to be I. ko Samui if you wish to buy Thai Souvenirs, party hard and catch up pretty island sunsets. This is also the Food Hub with some amazingly delicious street food, diner to fine dining restaurants.

A great place to visit. There's plenty of restaurants offering both Thai and Western food, there are expensive places as the other reviews suggest but there are some that are reasonable. There's a range of other shops such as clothing, massage, tailoring and other tourist goods. Didn't explore the beaches much but they seemed very clean. Annoyingly on the way back the songthaews were asking for a lot of money to take us home, I assume because they want to wait for the drunk tourists who'll agree to any price.

Fisherman’s has a lot to offer - suck as the Fisherman’s Market each week which means you’ll be buying a lot of great gifts home with you for people. Also great places to eat, and drink including Coco Tams which has an incredible firework show on the beach.

Most busy place in Koh Samui currently. Most reataurants are open. Had a great evening at Coco Tam with good drinks, excellent food and fire show.

We visited the Fisherman’s Village some times while we stayed at Koh Samui in 03/2022. You will find there nice and individual restaurants, bars and local handcrafted items or Tailors. Some of the restaurants and bars are directly at the Beach and you can have a beautiful view over the ocean. I ate at some of the restaurants in the village and you can see the review in my profile. If you are on Koh Samui, it is a good option for a visit and grab some food or have one or more drinks

Really chill place with small streets therefore no traffic. (Sometimes a slow driving motorbike) But therefore perfect to walk through the small street and check out the shops, restaurants and night market nearby. Especially most of the restaurants are open on both sides so you can choose a place where you have a perfect view over the sea and beach of Bo Phut. I’ve been there for a day trip, but next time I could also think of staying there longer.

The fisherman market in central Chaweng is a delightful experience for seafood enthusiasts. The vibrant atmosphere and diverse array of fresh catches are impressive. From grilled delights to exotic choices, the culinary journey is a treat. While it's slightly crowded, the quality of the offerings and the overall experience make it a must-visit, earning it a solid 4 stars.

Fairly touristy, prepare for higher cost food and items. That said, a nice place to walk for a while, the night market is pretty fun, and there are several good stops here including a dessert shop, hole in the wall restaurants, and foot massage parlors with a view of the ocean.

Very cool area to walk around. There is plenty of shopping and restaurants with incredible ocean views . We stopped for drinks and lunch at Coco Tams . Great bar and restaurant. Amazing views and great drinks .

Disappointment - we quickly checked this off our list finding it to be geared towards tourists who are willing to overpay for services. The beach was nice but so are all the beaches around. The coffee shops, restaurants and shops are significantly overpriced. Worth the stop but not reflective of the true Thailand.

Fisherman’s village is a nice and known style of walking street with lots and lots of restaurants. And many restaurants have direct beach access with stunning views. We went to BaCaBa restaurant and had a delicious dinner. The grilled snapper, fried sardines and mussels were absolutely delicious. Definitely recommend and a reason to come back. The restaurant has great staff and is all English speaking and delivering great service.
