I have been travelling for a year and this was the worst hostel I’ve stayed in. The room smelt of a dead animal the shower and sink would constantly not work as well as freezing cold water. When spoken to reception about this issue nothing was done and staff was rude. Location isn’t the best in the middle of nowhere. For what we paid also as was most expensive hostel we’ve stayed at. I also put my shower gel on the toilet seat and it fell through with no one fixing it.

Unfortunately didn't get the chance to stay in one of the rooms as they were fully booked when we walked in BUT the common areas are really lovely. The place is clean and has a super chill and relaxed atmosphere. The owner/lady who we spoke to was super friendly and even said we can use the facilities for free even though we couldn't stay. There's a small pool close to the beach, plenty of deck chairs, bean bags and some tables on the beach to chill. They had a sip n paint activity on the next day so we returned for it and thoroughly enjoyed painting on dry coconuts. Though we didn't stay I'd recommend this place as there's always an activity on even if you're not here to party and if you are they have free shots during said activities.

This place was really good to sleep, chill, get some good food and lovely drinks. Their menu is very diverse with a lot of good choices. The rooms were clean and the utilities were neat. They over a lot of activities which is nice if you travel alone to meat some new people. The staff is super relaxed and nice. You can choose if you want a beach or pool day, but you can also choose both. Long story short a beautiful place with so many great offers! Will come back for this place!

This review is based on the price that we paid 2390baht/night (~68€) which is higher because we unfortunately had to book it only a few days before arrival. Prices go higher of course. If you pay way less than this, will probably rate better. Generally do not recommend if you have to pay more than ~35€ for a night. Facts that I experienced and will matter to you: we booked online but had to pay at the hotel, that’s normal. However they ONLY accept payment in Thai Baht, cash, which is abnormal for a resort. 500 Baht deposit for the room key is also a must pay. We had the twin room with pool view. It is small, with only minimum amenities, no hairdryer, only 1 big towel per person, no beach towels despite locating right at the beach. Tables still had sand on them and not cleaned up properly. If they had thoroughly cleaned the room we wouldn’t mind waiting a bit longer since we were aware that we arrived an hour earlier than check-in time. Number of sockets barely fulfill the need if you have multiple devices. The AC is relatively loud. Water pressure for the shower is low. The sink and the water both stink. So brushing teeth and showering didn’t feel like cleaning up yourselves. The pool outside looked also not sufficiently cleaned, supposedly partially related to the water quality. The beddings had super strong perfumed smell and immediately caused headache for us. This could be an individual matter, however I do noticed they want to be environmental friendly at the hotel, then why use such unnaturally perfumed detergent or whatever that was for the textiles? It's still pollution for the nature. On the good side: we didn't have mosquitoes in the room; curtains are really light blocking; drinking water is refillable for free; the restaurant/bar has quite some options; quite some seats and bean bags at the beach to chill on; a mini outdoor workout area is available. Depending on the time of your visit, this might be a really cool place to stay and to also meet people from other places especially if you are a budget traveller. But if it happens that you have to book spontaneously with higher room rate, you will find better places elsewhere.

Tiki Beach is so fun!! Such great vibe here, I really enjoy the atmosphere around the bar, all the staff so friendly, everyday there are different activities organized by the hostel, we went to the free sunset tour in koh Phangan, highly recommened!! If not with the whole group from our hostel and great local guide Johnny from the bar, I would definitely not be able to go across the island by myself to see the sunset on top of the hill!! The route is so beautiful and the whole free tour was so worth it!! Kill pool night, live music, BBQ buffet, the seaside view, the drinks, everything is just perfect here, i recommend this place to everyone! A lot of beautiful European girls come here in groups, we need some more guys, so boys please book!

Great location, nice clean room, friendly helpful staff, nice clean pool. Good food and cocktails and they can organise a day trip or scooter for you. A couple of not so great things was that the room was very basic so no refrigerator or lamp. The bedsheets were extremely thin and the mattress was really hard, thin and uncomfortable. The room was full of mosquitos and lastly the shower/tap water was rusty, it tasted of rust and turned my toothbrush and shower mit orange, it also disrupted the PH in my sensitive body parts!

We stayed here for a week and then came back for another two days as we loved it so much. Staff are great and so friendly, they’ll help you with anything you need or questions you have. Food is great, location is perfect as it’s right on the beach where you can see the sunset in the evening. Overall Tiki beach has the best chill vibe and I can’t wait to go back one day. Recommend for anyone looking for a good place to stay on Koh Phangan!

We spent six wonderful nights at Tiki, an amazing beachfront resort. The owners, staff, and fellow guests were incredibly kind and friendly. With a bar, restaurant, pool table, and great music, the evenings became even more enjoyable.

The best hostel ever , staff are amazing and so friendly , it has something for everyone and is so cheap. The best hostel I’ve stayed in Thailand. 10/10 recommended. Food is also insane. VIBES

Australian volunteers gave us great info, other staff was nice enough. Although they booked us a transport to our next location through “Phagnan tour” was completely unorganized, sketchy, and ran significantly behind schedule. Rooms were average but none of the doors and windows closed fully which led to tons of bugs and insects in the room. Power and wifi was on and off. Pretty chill atmosphere, definitely for younger crowds. Great view and location!

Tiki Beach is always an incredible experience! The staff will have you feeling right at home. The rooms are freshly renovated, very comfortable and inviting. One of the highlights for me is the incredible sunset beach view. The bar is lively and the bar tenders are very sweet. And the kitchen has you covered! They have all sorts of delicious food but the burger is a must try.

Laid back, homey hotel on the beach. Feels very secluded. Super friendly staff and volunteers that are around to hang out and help as needed. Can walk right into the water. Awesome cocktails at the beach bar. Our hotel room had some spiders and ants because we kept food in there (which they specifically say not to!) but it’s to be expected

A cozy little spot next to the beach. Decent food and prices. The staff is so friendly and so are the owners! Pool table, live music and other events. Fun place to stay. There is also a small outside gym so you can stay in shape. 🏋️

The room was really big. Good AC. Big nice pool right in front of the amazing beach view, that’s the biggest pro to this place. The staff was nice and in general very cosy and family atmosphere. They have nice smoothie bowls but quite expensive. They are also pretty in to recycling etc. but for me sometimes felt kinda cheap on AC (turned it off everytime they made the room). In addition very important to say, biggest con would be the shower! The water pressure was really weak and had really bad rotten kind of smell (we are still in Thailand) but not expected from an hotel. I would recommend checking the shower right as you enter (actually smelling the water, making sure it’s warm, and good pressure- generally in Thailand hotels that is a good tip!) aside from that, the location is good for relaxing and feeling in a piece of heaven but less for feeling centered… it’s not the best era for koh phangan in general I would recommend getting in tiki like 1-2 nights enjoy the nice pool on the beach and than do 2 nights at the haadrin pier at full moon dates and then finish with koh phangan

A group of us stayed here for the Full Moon Party last month and it was the perfect place for chill vibes during the day with the beach and pool. The rooms were clean and it’s located on beautiful calm beach. What made it for me was the food and staff. They hosted a Thai buffet one night followed by a BBQ night with lots of options of home cooked food. Thank for you for a great experience in Ko Phangan. Hopefully I will go back someday!

Have spent 2 lovely nights here. The room was clean with great Aircon and the pool and bar area are good with an amazing menu. With it being on the beach front it is slightly out of the way of things and the water in our room had a slightly funky smell and stopped running on occasions but that would be my only criticism. They have a laundry service which is very convenient and I loved how environmentally friendly they were striving to be!

Tiki Beach is a fabulous resort. The location is perfect for seeing the island via moped, there's not much nearby but only a short walk to a 711 which has an atm. The staff were extremely pleasant and always so helpful. The food is delicious, we ate all our meals here. They have a great selection, and very reasonably priced. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends and family.

Great location on the beach. Bar staff were awesome. I enjoyed hanging by the pool ; good vibes overall. What wasn’t great was sewer smell in dorm. No hand soap provided for dorm bathroom (that’s just wrong in this day and age with COVID. I understand no shampoo or body soap, but hand soap??) No lockers. Outlets are around the dorm but not for each bed by the bed.

Very comfortable bed, air-con working well, and the room was cozy and clean. Important to mention that the shower has hot water (not all accommodations offer that on Thai islands). Breakfast was not included. It was pricey, but totally worth it. Laundry service is available and at a very low price. The staff was friendly and helpful. Tasty drinks offered at the bar, where you can watch the sunset every day.

Super great location with fun activities almost every night. Free morning workouts which we enjoyed. As soon as we had a problem and we mentioned it to the staff they were quick att trying to fix the problem. Love that they have free drinking water available and live music on a regular basis. We stayed for almost 2 months here and really enjoyed our stay.

Very good place and spacious room. We took the room with the sea view near the pool. However, it was too noisy during the day. The wifi connection not that good. The beach was so beautiful tho

A super fun place to stay with opportunities to meet people from all over the world. There’s always some event going on in the evenings. The members of staff are so lovely you feel like you’re leaving family when checking out. I would definitely stay again if I return to the island.

I really feel at home here because of the friendly staff (all of them!) they are so relaxed just as the vibe here. I like their menu card and they have many vega(n) options. They renovate many things in the rooms and it is really quiet at night when we are chilling at the balcony. They also have an outdoor gym and many things to do at the bar..

Nice hotel where you can spend a few nights. There is a swimming pool next to the bar and access to a very nice beach. Very nice staff, solving problems quickly. Rooms are neats and clean. The only thing that bothered me was the burning of garbage (not only the leaves, but also the pants) a few meters from the room. Stench was a few days. I still give 5 stars :). I loved staying here and even added more night. The staff were so nice, helping, with good vibes and making everyone feel at home. Every night we had a different tournament of new game, to make everybody know each other and it was so fun. My favourite part was the beach, one minute walk from the room. If you’re looking for a quiet place but still to have fun and knowing new people this is the place for you. Definitely my favourite place in Thailand and I will come back.

Location is awesome. In Ban Thai, central to everything you could want or need. Staff is friendly. Lots of remote workers staying here. Food was really yummy. Get the Burmese salad! I stayed in a dormitory room and we couldn't figure out how to turn on the AC bc the remote screen is broken. So it was very hot.

Tape/shower water smells and tastes like rusty iron (of course I didn’t drink, but when you brush teeth and take a shower you get to taste it a bit, and feels unhealthy). Some of the staff is nice though, but not everyone. Edit/Update: Hotel reply is delusional, the booking wasn’t under my name but I still stayed at the hotel.

There are pros and cons but based on the money you paid, I think there is better option. Good: location. It’s also nice to have a beach bar/lazy bags to lay at night. Staff April is very friendly too. Bad: even though it’s a hostel, but the price for private, which is 1000b is in the level of resort so I am not expecting the “hostel” service. I arrived at 4pm, my room was not ready. I did my laundry around 11 and was supposed to pick up before check out. When I check out, it’s not ready. I came to front desk at 11, told them I will check out today and pre-packed my belongs except the laundry I was waiting. I came back a bit late (12:50) from windsurf, the front desk asked me extra 100b. So for all the time I was waiting, I didn’t ask for anything and when I am a bit late, $$$. Was not even trying to argue because I need to catch my ferry. The other is just like other reviews, the water smells because of old tube.

Nice clean room and really helpful staff who made us at home straight away. The food is also very nice (especially breakfast). The beach is also beautiful with no litter. I accidentally left my AirPods in my room when I left, but they searched for them and found them for me (thanks again for that). Definitely recommend 👍

Very good place to stay the night and enjoy the environment. We booked another 3 nights because we liked it so much. The crew is so nice and the atmosphere is chill relax and cheerfull. Rooms are just good, all you need is there. Good food at the restaurant, breakfast and diner as well! Loved out stay at Tiki. Would highly recommend it.
