You can climb up from the back of Shin-Kobe Station and arrive in about 30 minutes. It's a wonderful scenery. The suspension bridge is also thrilling and fun.

The fresh green leaves are reflected on the water surface, creating a wonderful scenery that blends in with the surrounding fresh greenery. The water surface is not cloudy and there is plenty of water. It is a pleasant space to watch wild birds feeding on fish and the sounds of birds chirping. Japan's oldest concrete dam has an air of dignity, and is the perfect place for residents to relax and take a leisurely stroll.

It takes about 40 minutes to arrive from Shin-Kobe via Nunobiki Falls. A fully-decorated concrete dam has been installed at the reservoir, and in addition to its original role as a water source for Kobe City, it is also a tourist destination with a well-maintained promenade. I used to visit this place often when I was a member of a wild bird club, and you can see many wild birds here, and it is also a stopover point for migratory birds to Awaji Island and Shikoku. There is also a bird observatory and rest area for this purpose.

You get that successful feeling after all the hiking path through the waterfalls. The 33m high dam is astonishing!

It is Japan's oldest gravity concrete dam. The weather was nice, so the sky and trees reflected in the water were beautiful. To get to Nunobiki Herb Garden, you can take a shortcut by climbing up the torii gate (Suitengu Shrine), which is a steep staircase.

Nunobiki Reservoir is one of Kobe's water sources. Although it is a man-made facility, you can enjoy the vastness of nature to the fullest. There is also a drinking fountain and benches, making it a convenient place to take a break. Also, it takes about 5 minutes to get to the herb garden from here, but be prepared to get your clothes dirty because it's so grassy.

There are three routes, but the easiest is to take the ropeway to the herb garden (Kaze no Oka Intermediate Station) and walk from there. It seems that many people are coming up from Shin-Kobe Station.

It's moist from the spring rain. You can rest assured that there is plenty of water in your precious water source. In this photo taken last June when the water surface was calm, the lake surface is as beautiful as a mirror.

I stopped by when I was coming down the mountain after visiting the Herb Museum. A lot of Japanese locals also stop by. I didn't see any other foreigners. It's nice because it's quiet~
